OK the stuffed oldies have won! How many more campaigns will the lunatic right (Daily Mail) start? How dare a newspaper drive the decisions of the BBC - the same BBC that belongs to ALL of us. I don't like Ross, I don't really understand Brand (because I'm an oldie) and I think what they did was in very poor taste, but I shudder at the influence of a rag like the Mail.

The complaining public, to some extent, are like lemmings, and politicians and the rest of the media are jumping on a 'let's knock the BBC again' bandwagon. I didn't listen so I don't know if it was offensive / funny. I don't have strong views either way about Brand and Ross. But if the Daily Mail and its ilk get its way, we'll have censorship and that's a slippery slope.
