Absolutely, he’s nailed on for United, it’s written in the runes…

As menbers recently discussed at the awayday, with things starting to move forward on current negotiations remember the CoT motto before posting - LLSS.

Sorry assumed you meant Stephens!

First Wilcox, now this...

My pal inadvertently found himself on the piss with Terry Hurlock in Albufeira a few weeks ago, and managed to make it back to the UK intact. Reckons Terry is very mellow, pensive and easy going these days - in the photos I've seen the old lion mane is very absent but the psychotic twinkle still there. Quite different from my experience of weekday evening sessions at Simons Wine Bar in the early 90s.

Wilcox might swoop for him in the January window. For old times sake.

Dave Armstrong a shoe in for me, along with Frank Worthington.

Really liked Stuart Armstrong on and off the park, a class act, intelligent footballer and always seemed to add balance when he played, terrific hair as well of course - a bit like Anders Svennson in that respect, but an upgrade. Looks like Fiorentina after the Euros, a well deserved pre-retirement gig and the rare opportunity for a Scotsman to get a bona fide sun tan! All the very best Stu!

If they are asking £20m for a player that’s been on loan since 2019 they are indeed delusional and killing the lad’s career.

Top partnership, very unlucky that England had Moore and Charlton in 66 when they broke through.

Oddbod and Oddbod junior have more positional sense.

Been watching Sunderland 'Til I Die on Netflix last few days (close season football starvation already starting to bite), and found the pitch level match segments and interviews with Ross Stewart in the later episodes really interesting. For a tall somewhat rangy player he seems to have a really good touch and turn of speed, plus determination and some grit in terms of being able to hold off defenders and go one to one with keepers. This appears to be combined with positive modest character (in the interviews). We've not been able to assess these attributes due to the frustrating injury, but if he gets back close to where he was I can see why Martin and Saints would give him a chance at this level before potentially throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Stay fit and I think he'll be on the subs bench as an option come August.

He was at the Champions League final at Wembley last night disguised as Voldemort. Make of that what you will.

Wise words Whitey!

To be fair that was just as the icecream van pulled away.

Very disrespectful that they didn't feature Nathan Jones in their promo, with all due respect.

A template for Rishi Sunak's new conservatory in a few weeks time.

If my son was in a relationship with that I'd probably disown him too, whilst recommending sectioning and a Victoria Cross.

I think that putting a roof on the Chapel end fanzone as per the artist's impression would be a serious error - you wouldn't be able to hear Saints brass, smell the delicious food on offer or take in the vista of the collapsed warehouse (though to be honest that's now got Dragan's dabs all over it).
-
I think that the principal reason for Lallana's acrimonious departure and pending return is being missed by most posters on here - the council has finally granted planning permission for his floodlit basketball court.
