  1. Probably Craig David and his crew by the sound of it (Frostie, Pinder, Vallance, Meades etc.), p*ssed up on Krug and up for a knees up. There's no place for this type of thing in the modern game...
  2. The other standard is Celtic or Rangers. 'Tonight Matthew my Scottish team is' FFS...
  3. I just hope that none of the hardcore Saints racists travel to Upton Park tomorrow. They will not tolerate that kind of infantile nonsense up there...
  4. Just like Nazi Germany...
  5. In view of this escalating situation I think that the club needs to adopt a tough zero tolerance stance. Anyone displaying racist views should be dragged into the centre circle and forced to shake hands with the peoples of all nations during half time (or at least 9 nations), and their seat should be removed from the stadium as a symbol of their censure. Furthermore the team should run out to Ebony and Ivory by Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney...
  6. Or for that matter, the minority...
  7. The two things from this period that stick in the mind re. England is Gascoigne scoring the goal against the jocks in the Euro Championship (under Terry Vegetables), and the commentator exclaiming 'there is no other player that could have scored that goal' - me screaming at the TV that we had one (not even in the squad) scoring better every week! Then this England B debacle under Hoddle, when even if MLT has scored half a dozen he still wouldn't have been included. Just shows how blinkered successive England managers were, and if Le Tissier had accepted the offer to play for France he would have probably won 50 caps, and possibly World Cup and Euro winners medals. Just imagine for one moment a side with MLT and Zidane pulling the strings!...
  8. Come on my proud beauties. Tandoori to score in 91st...
  9. Bloody hell, this post puts it into perspective, and when you see the squad set out like that you can appreciate the way NA has been putting this squad together for promotion. If the players coming back from injury get back on song quickly and Lee and Sharp integrate quickly, methinks we might be genuinely murdering a few sides...
  10. I heard last week that Stephen Hester was going to buy the club and fund a transfer frenzy, but has since had a change of heart. FFS...
  11. is it in italics to reflect the unbridled speed associated with JF?...
  12. People are forgetting that we are talking about Jonno Quick here, float like a hovercraft sting like a slow loris! FFS...
  13. No pace in the side whatsoever now! FFS...
  14. For once to win the title at a stroll. Not Saints style historically, but it would be so nice to hit the Prem with momentum and plans well in place. The other desired variable would be for HMRC to finally catch up with the Keystone Cops down the M27 to instigate some payback for the gloating they did when we were in the sh*t, hopefully the points deduction and fine in place by Easter...
  15. Michael Appleton to iron the numbers on the back of the shirts in the Saints shop...
  16. Then again at 6ft 4ins an out an out target man and good cover for Lambert...
  17. I like the cut of your jib, Phil...
  18. This week's mystery signing will be Gary Hooper or Tommy Cooper. Failing that, a signing just short of a marquee singing, at the very least an eight man tent signing...
  19. Within 18 months he would be worth £35m...
  20. Maybe Barnard is the makeweight in the Hooper deal. He would love the nightlife in Glasgow...
  21. Foxhunter also liked flowers and sh*gged Princess Margaret...
  22. The record breaking David Hirst...
  23. My money is on 'Undisclosed (but considerably more than Rory Delap)'...
  24. This could all be academic, as with our 'hush-hush' approach to transfers we will probably never know about the £35 million spent on Hooper...
  25. This, by a country mile...
