Unfortunately being a "supremacist" comes unintentionally when people set the bar so damn low.
-
Be good to see one for Brexit voters, WLM protesters, Conservative voters, climate change deniers, Trump sympathists, Covid19 conspiracists and IQs under 75, but to be honest a perfectly round circle really isn't very exciting.

With a false story fed to them, no doubt, by the Conservative government. Biased.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

I think it's more that he doesn't believe in black people. In his blonde haired, blue eyed world, they are a myth to him. -
BBC just tends to be biased to whichever Government is in power - as they would be because those Governments control the pursestrings.

I wouldn't be surprised if with the state of the UK at the moment if the residents of Hong Kong didn't take the chance of staying put - the grass isn't always greener.

General knowledge he should be fine, more "In the News" or "Current Affairs" is where he'd struggle.

Just be safe in the knowledge that those same people will be poorer, but immigration won't go down. Imagine HOW angry and upset those people will feel, and then sit back and laugh at them. They will know they've screwed themselves over, and will end up realising that all the racist, thicko rhetoric that the Remainers peddled was in fact true, and that they are living embodiment of it.

Earthworm Jim guesses no.

Oh, OK, is Wes known for being a little bit off the mark then?
-
It seems like Ducky prefers polls to yourself then. Serious question though; how do you judge public perception on a Government mid-term?
-
It's doubtful, but we do look good at the moment. Shame that our formation and tactics only really work away from home!!
-
I would guess the relevance is that within 7 months of the biggest Tory victory for 32 years Boris is fading fast. He carries on like that and he won't last the full term.
-
I think the Conservatives are already planning a contingency for life without Boris - internally they are very unimpressed with him.

Why, have they been written together on a bus stop by the same person?
-
The issue is regulatory alignment with the EU is at odds with any deal we do with the US, and also with the race to the bottom that this Government wants.
-
What the difference between "white power" and "white lives matter"? By the fact the perpetrator is the same person I'd guess not a lot.

Generally Girth is better than Long if you want to stretch them.

Anyone got any streams?

The way you seem to write about racism is that of an over-priveledged white man. Are you white and middle aged?
-
Look, it's fine if you want to use pedantry to get around the point - I'm assuming you both don't have an issue with the phrase, being middle-aged white men. The fact the phrase has racist connotations is undeniable though, it even makes reference to it in your Wikipedia article. Anyway, if you want to plead ignorance, that's fine, you just prove the point I made. https://www.npr.org/sections/codeswitch/2013/09/19/224183763/is-it-racist-to-call-a-spade-a-spade?t=1592944853643

It's not about educating some people - some people are well aware of the offence it causes but are happy to carry on using the term. It's a bit like using the phrases "Call a spade a spade" or "Wait a cotton picking minute" - people know their origin but will still happily use it, safe in the knowledge that they can use the "but why does that offend anyone" defence. Unfortunately for those people, it does offend others, and the people that tend to use those phrases aren't BAME so don't appreciate the fact that it does. White people questioning why something offends someone from a different origin really is a pet hate of mine...

I was sent the WhatsApp conversation for it last night, just don't know how to post it on this forum - any ideas? Don't know how to post a screenshot and run out of posts anyway...
