Guido Carrillo - Official: Free Transfer to Elche
Supersubpuckett replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
whats he got that gallagher hasn't? -
Ironic that the kit we always craved could end up being remembered for our relegation

Bring back four Saints players and a manager to save our season.

VVD Bale MLT Shearer Poch as manager -
Puel screwed him from the start by saying he was the next Thierry Henry - ridiculous comment that will only set a player up to fail.

WBA v Saints - 5th Round FA Cup Thread

we look alright - as ever it's the final ball that's letting us down. pinging it around much better than usual. having said that, the baggies are very poor. -
nope - 200 mile round trip to watch a team utterly lacking in passion and determination coupled with a board unwilling to invest or communicate with the fanbase....no thanks. If they aren't prepared to make a long term investment then neither am i.

He's useless Utterly useless

Not long back after my 200 mile round trip as a suffering ST holder (won't be an issue next season).....the first half was ok but I always had the feeling liverpool were containing us quite comfortably, letting us play it around. Awful defending for the two goals. Again. 2nd half was terrible - it was a performance from a team of individuals waiting for relegation so they can go and play somewhere else. The 'management' of this club have lost the fans - poor signings, cheap managers and zero communication. No wonder we all sit there in stunned silence.

We will take a right beating 0-5

Aside from what we think about the players, this thread also shows how badly the club handle stuff like this. There don't seem to be many departures that don't end in acrimony so you have to wonder how the likes of reed et al conduct themselves. Perhaps this is also why it takes us longer to make signings. VVD for me, arrogant dutch pr1k. Deeply unprofessional behaviour, especially after the big contract he was given and the rehabilitation for his Achilles. Compare him to how coutinho handled himself in identical circumstances.

hughes could probably sort us out given his many years experience in the prem - could be a nice little six month earner for him too. and a former player so he might give a little bit of a sh1t
-
yes he did - unfortunately long has the predatory strikers instinct of a statue

When would you have pulled the trigger on Pellegrino?
Supersubpuckett replied to Bad Wolf's topic in The Saints
100% this From the squad that finished 6th and scoring freely, the board failed to adequately replace players and then Puel turned us into the ultra conservative "everyone is a threat" team that has formed the basis of MPs ****d up circus of bllx we have to witness every week. -
Me too! Supersub.....hence the name
-
Doesn't matter what team he puts out, all combinations have been rubbish this season. The baggies will be well up for this and the crowd pumped up with emotion with their Cyrill Regis dedication - think we'll take a hammering.

First time I had serious doubts was after watford at home and I suggested that following de boers sacking at palace that he should be looking over his shoulder which raised a few eyebrows on here. It was the Leicester game that well and truly confirmed it for me and I'm staggered he survived the utter embarrassment of the palace farce. Too late now, I think the rot is set too deep and I get the impression the board are belligerently sticking with him. The social media response has def rattled him though judging by his reference to emotional perspectives at today's press conference. -
If our objective is to get relegated then we're doing everything right When it looked clear we would get relegated in 2005 I wondered (and heard others say in the media) that perhaps Lowe had 'modeled' life in the championship which showed the economics looked better. I'm wondering if the management of the club have got that spreadsheet back out and see the championship offers us the optimal platform for selling the talent from the academy, especially as at that level we will be able to use more academy players. We are a small club after all and surely as a small club this is the best we should hope for.....although I'm curious to know which pledge this might fall under. What a prize w4kner Ralph is

The saying about breweries and heavy drinking springs to mind.......again Just need to wait for the statement about how we've concluded our business for this window.
-
Absolutely not comfortable and would be completely embarrassing given we sacked puel thinking we were better than what he brought us. This time round it would be self-inflicted relegation, totally avoidable and down to the sheer negligence and hubris of the arrogant individuals that run our club.
-
Have you actually seen any games this season? I think relegation is already sealed. Maybe MP isn't the man.......no sh1t! The club need signings......yes we do, but with this bloke in charge they ain't coming are they. So lets just sit there with an appreciative smile on our faces and thank the lord we have air to breathe.

I don't think protests work/I'm not interested in them.
Supersubpuckett replied to Guan 2.0's topic in The Saints
Funny how some seem to think we still have a chance of staying up with MP in charge -
A protest against MP is a protest against the club. It shows we're angry about what's happening and very timely after RKs attempt to talk away the situation. Those who think this is simply a protest against the manager are the short-sighted ones. We're likely to get relegated if he remains in charge and the result against spurs is almost inevitable, so we have nothing to lose. If you prefer a silent protest then how about we turn our backs on 76 minutes (assuming there's anyone left in the stadium). The frustration amongst the players is clear so I wouldn't mind betting they'd secretly appreciate it too.

Watford = 1 point Plus two wins = 7 points
