I was at the game and that was completely what i thought.

Cork looks better in midfield. Lambert was class. Not sure about Hooivelds positioning but he can at least work on that. Chaplow made big difference to our energy level. We deserved the win because; a) made them look very ordinary in parts of the first half; b) very professional close out

I voted Cork. For the time he spent on the pitch I thought De Ridder gave them plenty to think about.

I have met MLT once when he signed autographs with alot of good grace, but I don't know him at all and can't really say I know what he is like as a bloke, or what has ever motivated him. I beleive the only thing most can judge him on is how they felt about him, football and more importantly the club, when they watched him play. Without shame I admit I have put a few thousand more in the SFC coffers than I ever would of if it hadn't of been for MLT drawing me into a passion for the club. Perhaps I am alone in this, but if not this is the ultimate magnatude of what he acheived.

I don't remember it like that at all. The team were very fit and would battle a side into submission for five or ten minutes, after which you would get really good entertaining football. The likes of Anders Svensson and Fernandes were a total liability in the relegation season, but under Strachan they were generally effective and great to watch. Our goals came mostly from open play. Some of Beatties were quite spectacular. Bridge and Marsden linking on the left could be great to watch. I don't tend to beleive in people going back, but given our current circumstances and the reasons WGS may have left, you would have to make an exception if he was prepared to come.

It kills me to ruin your dream but Rod Hull was finished off by Emu a few years ago. The feathered one lured him onto his own roof during a modest gail, on the pretence of fixing his TV arial. Michaella could be in though!
