Stay strong dude.

We are lucky to have you monitoring for any unauthorised or in appropriate Rickie based dialogue, like a fourth emergency service. ;-)

I think none is a bit harsh. The most ominous comparison with 2005 is that we lacked quality and numbers in defence and particularly central defence. Lets hope it gets sorted anyway.

Could it do any harm if this got leaked to his agent?

If we can master the choreography we will definitely need a 50k ground for the kids parties/show crowd etc.

Dalek, you are always entitled to your opinion, but it is your aspiration that is always hard to fathom. No one plans to "yoyo". Your support gets despondent, your best players rightly want to leave, even if you have the money not to need to sell. The rewards of staying up are better anyway. Teams have done it, but they didn't plan it, and they weren't happy about it. Of course we shouldn't risk all on a gang of over paid mercenaries. However the talk of the clubs massive ambition is bound to make us assume that this is backed up with hard cash, without risk to our future. If the club are planning to "yoyo" they are not really setting us up for it are they?

The only good things to come out of today's game were an early clarification of where we are with this league, and I met some bloke called Phil from Dubai who turned up and sat right behind me!

Amazing really that they got to the moon, without as much as a laptop.

Yes. I've got no agenda, but that is true. We still want to do it. I am always as busy as f*** so I haven't chased it up. I will try again next week, unless someone from the club reads this tripe and wants to PM.

Funny, I called them in the early summer about corporate for our business for the tottenham game, and was told someone would get back in touch, but no one has!

I thought we would have to wait 10 games to get an idea of the true demand, but today didn't bode well. We should forget about building until such time as people are literally pleading to get in. Atmosphere and passion are more important than ticket sales for big games.

We could all dress up as cruet sets, candle sticks and tea pots. Would take our fan base to a completely different level IMHO.

Agreed. Let's make this coming Monday the holiday in case he signs tomorrow.

Just following this thread has been exhausting. We need a bl00dy good win on saturday to put the whole thing back into perspective imho.

It is actually "to all intents and purposes"

I decided I wanted to dive for work about 15 years ago. I'm a chartered civil engineer. I was working as a site manager on marine projects at the time, and after a try dive at Andark, I managed to persuade my then employer to pay for an HSE pt 3 course at Bovisand in Plymouth. It was 5 weeks of more fun than you could shake a stick at. The funniest thing that happened was to an Egyptian lad that p1ssed everyone off. He would take over every team task underwater, and then completely **** it up. We were using air lifts to uncover old shell cases off the breakwater fort, and he was wearing a membrane suit with a KM18 surface demand helmet. He didn't take care, got inverted and his hat started to fill with water. Squeals came from the comms room, and everyone rushed out to watch as his feet hit the surface, from a 20m ascent. Somehow he got righted, but with a hat full of water. You are supposed to blow the water down with a valve you use to clean your screen in the hat, but obviously he was in a panic and didn't think of that. He took the only other option and drank the contents of the hat. Respect. I got my wife to learn to dive. Without trying to sound soft, it is actually a really romantic thing to share together. My oldest has been diving since he was 12. We took him to Taba for a week several years ago, which I though was great. I've also dived in the UK, Cyprus, Majorca and the Canaries, which I thought was actually quite good. I have always taken perverse pleasure in the dark and cold of UK diving. I haven't dived for a while. I don't really do depth, after getting quite narked at 40m once, years ago. After diving with surface demand, it occurred to me the precarious nature of scuba diving at serious depth. Also, I think you need to dive a lot to keep your hand in, if you are going to take on serious diving.

Also, are you sure that you definetley need the passcode during syncing with your PC? If not you can just sync it now, and then reset it.

I think a "touch" does have a camera and wi-fi. It is halfway between a nano and an I phone.

Is it just me, or did the way Spain play remind you of anyone...?

I think Germany is a better comparison in terms of our directness v patience blend. -
Driving from the UK to Italy in August....Travel Tips Sought
colehillsaint replied to trousers's topic in The Lounge
Driven into the centre of Rome twice and thought it was a blast tbh. We are English, we drive where we want! -
This is the first England squad I have felt much like supporting for years, simply because the manager seemed like a good guy and the attitude seemed right.

I've watched the 10 O'clock show and Tbf the only position Carr has taken is taking the p155. It's not hypocrisy. He should just appreciate how lucky he is and give something back ffs.

Our Future? Stadium Expansion Proposal on Season Ticket DVD
colehillsaint replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
I agree but what I mean about the 10 games in is that unless it is really hard for lots of people to get a ticket, it would be silly to have any urgent expansion plans. Of course the season tickets will reveal a lot, but 10 games might or might not draw out some more casual support. The thing about my neighbours is pointing out that it does effect your perspective on the debate. Although if someone promises another tier on the Chapel, we may consider forcing the old lady at No 2 to come. God help me if I get dragged further into this with 100 posts in 7 years. ;-)
