I'm torn on this one. Watford are obviously a step above Walsall, so too many changes and we risk the unbeaten streak in all competitions, but we also have to give the fringe players minutes. I'd give it a halfway house. 6 Changes. with the ability to bring on regulars at halftime / 60minutes Lumley KWP Bednarek Stephens Manning Charles Rothwell Smallbone SAA Mara Fraser

First away game where we scored more than two, this season. Both goals scored, and goals against currently more favourable numbers than Ipswich. Great position to be in. It's almost a shame to have to have a break to play a cup match.
-
@ChristopheVAFC do the managers rest key players in the cup like in England? was the Paris team similar to the one that narrowly beat Valenciennes 1-0 last year in the league?
-
Get a win, and we'll either be closer to Leicester, Ipswich or Both on points by the end of Monday night. What we do need is to have this be the start of our Away scoring matching our home scoring. Home: Played 14, scored 34 (2.43 goals for per game) Away: Played 13 Scored 16 (1.23 goals for per game) We now have the best defensive record in the league over the last 20 games (joint with West Brom) of only conceding 14. We start scoring two away from home per game, thats most of the job done.

Athletic said he was West Hams highest paid player. it sounds like it was a pretty sound move if he gets the wages, whether he plays or not.

The goal that was conceded on 87.... Ouch.

Göztepe just beat Sakaryaspor away. Takes them up to 2nd with the rest of the league playing Sat/Sun
-
He was named caretaker at the beginning of December and they said they'd make a final decision by the end of the month. Which they have done. In this ain't Kantari has had two league matches, (which were both lost by one goal) and a cup match that they scraped through on pens.
-
Valenciennes announce Kantari will stay on as manager until the end of the season. They have a cup match against lower tier Sarreguemines FC on Friday before the league starts back up again on 13th January
-
I think the knock that Bednarek took just before their goal put our passing patterns out. But one fluff doesn't matter when you score two. Good finish to the year.
-
Desperate for this to be a win. We can't stop 22/23 being the year we fell apart in the Premier League, but to be able to extend an historic unbeaten run past the turn of the new year would put down a marker for Leicester and Ipswich. The Saints are coming ...

Just a reminder that Bluestar are operating a SUNDAY timetable today.
-
Stoilov's winning streak comes to an end as Bodromspor put 3 past Göztepe. Winter break now for both Valenciennes and Göztepe
-
And please be aware we have miserable fans who can't see positives even when we're on a 14 game unbeaten streak.
-
Southamptons and Göztepe show that it seems Sport Republic can move things positivity, though it seems there is always a rough patch at first. I hope Flamarion and Oyewusi can help you have some good fortune.

Since sacking Ainsworth and appointing Cifuentes QPR have had a resurgence. Ainsworth only won two in his 14 games in charge. Cifuentes has won 3, drawn 3, and lost 2 Cifuentes has had as many Clean sheats in his 8 games as we've had all season (4)

Göztepe just battered top of the table Eyüpspor 5-1. That's played 5 Won 5 since the new manager joined. Scored 16 conceded 1.

I have no how clue how "options" work in relation to the player / club relationship, but original reports when he signed with Juve in 2021 was the deal was to 2024 with an option to extend up to 2026.

If Transfermarkt is correct, then Soules contract with Juve expires Jun 24' before he joined Juve Soule refused to sign pro contract with Velez. Theres certainly an argument that a further Argentinian in the squad will help with Alcaraz's development.
