Now adays it's seems to that it's all gone a bit mad. It's fine to have 1 Extra black radio station and mobo's and celebrate particular race but everyone gets all high and mighty if any colour or race is used in any form of insult. Calling someone names is a bit daft IMO and it would be nice if everyone stopped doing it but the facts are people won't and as one word is deemed wrong the yoof will dream up another to replace it and name calling will continue. There seems to be no I real line drawn that states what is stupid name calling and what is unexceptable behaviour. I and my friends get called all sorts of names in friendly banter which we all find amusing and acceptable. I agree with turkish that it's the dogwooders and PC bregade that can turn silly behaviour into something more. That doesn't make the race issues any less though and efforts to stamp real racism out should continue. It's a good debate though as I feel there is no ballence and will be none until people debate it properly.

I found it amusing when lallana took a corner and was getting some right old abuse from some old guy in a wheel chair. I fully understand the scummer chants and trying to wind up oppo players but they made themselves look a right bunch of goons with their actions. I wonder how sponsors will feel beig associated with that lot now? I didn't actually say you made them up. I just wondered if the figures quoted were actually legit? Could the club have filled dodgy made up accounts? The investigation may yet come up with something as if you indeed made more than was spent the debt levels should in no way increased to the levels they did. As soon as Chelsea came up I was hoping you lot would be following and I was pretty happy for it to happen. Drawing Chelsea away is odds on to be your last game in the FA cup and being the 3rd round its not going to get much interest so blagging a bit of extra cash from a little cup run is not going to happen and puts your club another step closer to failing completly. Cant see many Chelsea fans rushing to get tickets for it and if 90% of your fans dont fancy the thought of turning up to see you get turned over by the likes of Watford and Forrest I really doubt many are going to want to see them getting ruined by Chelsea either. So gate reciepts are going to be pretty low. In fact I think the only draw that would of been a decent earner for you would of been against us. With a bit of luck this will all end quickly for you and someone will get off their arse and start an AFC pompey that can actually try to earn some pride and even some support from the whole footballing community in the south.

haha I had it on record last night and first thing I did this morning was delete it. Knew we were not at our best and knew Brizzol would be up for it as they are in form. Didnt need to see it to know this and would of been in a bad mood all day had I watched it. On to Tuesday and 3 points at home and yesterday wont matter one bit.

I wouldnt say anyone has got away with anything on this one. Getting bail is nothing to get worked up over. The alledged crime is not one that puts the public at risk and I bet its a legal mine field figuring out if he should be extradited and so on so it makes sense to keep tabs on him for the time being. If the decission is to boot him out of the country then at least he has paid his own way while here. It all seems pretty serious though so wouldnt be surprised if he ends up in the pooh. mean while pompey get dragged through the ringer again and continue to be a car crash which for us will continue this thread forever by the looks of it.

Just seen the coca cola xmas advert and wondered if that really confirms Christmas is really coming? Saw the news on this thread and now believe we are just short of some ho ho ho for us to truly be in the festive spirit.

I hate to back the Ho up but at the time I pointed out that he was only saying what a POL Mod had posted and made no comment to say he believed it or not. Dont think he actually said anything else on the matter after that either. I also said something about it being written in a way that would get him out of the poo should it turn out to be a load of balls. All in all, its still worth taking anything the Ho says with a grain of salt as its either not his words or random sleep talk ramblings that belong in a star trek novel.

What can be done about all the other songs/chants with players names in? just leave the names out but sing the rest? get rid of all the la la la la la's in the goal machine song cause its just so repetative constantly bellowing out the same word... blah blah blah

blimey I thought it was quite good. not heard of any other club doing it so it was good to be doing something new. was a bit of a laugh and sounded good on the radio IMO. Although our fans went quite for a bit the rest of the time there was a good mix of songs rather than "were coming for you" over and over. Was a good slow OWTS that sounded like it needed a few more to join in but still sounded good. When I heard it I thought of Spurs doing it which was weird??? If people find new chants embarressing and cringe worthy maybe it would be better for our fans to just remain silent for the whole game? There to see a game of football so no need for all this singing malarky eh?
