But its the football league who have to make a decission and as there is no precident on clubs going into admin from the prem coming down then the only guide lines they have and can possibly use are the ones they use for clubs in the FL. The prem have washed there hands of the matter so its they that have nothing to do with it. Or are you too stupid to notice that the problem is now the FL's? EDIT: Forgot the winky smily emote thingy..... Honest So the Cut off date could be important as the FL could use it as a guide when deciding Poopy's fate. If they dont and treat Poopy differently just because they have come out of the prem then all the other clubs in the FL could have rights to complain at Prem clubs recieving special treatment. We got relegated from 1 league to another and as we missed the cut off date we recieved points the following season. What have Poopy done differently and why should they not be treated the same as any other club in the FL?

I dont think it is Duncan's decission to strike or to do anything else. He was elected to do this job and it sounds like when there is a decission to be made its put to the members. What ever way they vote then its Duncan's job to take it forward. If he does the oposite of what 80% of his members requested then he is not doing his job very well. I still dont like the strike but then I still dont like the way BA have handled it either. For the sake of both sides I think they should get super nanny in to put down a few ground rules to get them all talking properly again. Think both sides could probably give a little leeway and all could be happy with no strikes. Both sides seem to think its the other sides fault that this is not happening but neither side is doing a whole lot to get it all resolved. Dont think Duncan should be jobless because of this though.

But surley that cut of date will be an important factor in there decission. Was it after the cut off date we missed? If so then it should be fairly simple to impose a penalty. If it is and they dont impose a penalty would NC open up a legal battle to have our -10 removed and some kind of compensation for not being involved in the play offs? If it was before the cut of date then the FL have an easy job in only giving a penalty if Poopy fail to agree a CVA or if further financial irregularitys are found or something. What was the cut off date this year in the FL and did poopy go into admin before it or after it?

My wife is looking for a hol next year for a group of us. She found a villa for 12 at £900 with private pool and so on in Gran Canaria end of July 2011. Im guessing a smaller group might get under the £600 mark?

So did anyone hear enough of what FF on radio 5 to give an update? The argument seems pretty one sided at the mo so just wondering if the other side of the argument is good enough to change anyones opinions?
-
I still think the FL should be docking points off them this season otherwise we should have a case to say we shouldnt have had our -10 this season which would put us in the play-off spots. This would create a huge legal battle and could really hurt the FL. Why should it be 1 rule for dropping out of the prem and a different rule for everyone else? So have the FL suggested how they aim to deal with this at all or are we still guessing at what will happen?

Doesn't really matter if its rowing, running or badminton. He represented his country and got gold medals. Thats basically the idea for the world cup isnt it? Represent your country and come 1st is the greatest achievment for any sportsman/woman I would have thought.

Brilliant advert. Made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Rocket and Tubes made an appearance too!!!

There is a long list of Indians wanting to be doctors and nurses in the UK too. Shame the queue is not as big from our own back yard. Maybe more should be said about the benifits our armed forces get or dont get? Obviously the trained men and women cant speak up as they are under orders so maybe the general public should speak up. What was the basic wage in the forces again? And what comes with it?
-
Yeah of course, your right, everyone else is wrong again.

I had already edited my post to include that I dont agree with how the army and so on are treated. But just because the government shaft everyone it doesnt make it right. I didnt comment on the BA strike as I know very little about it. I would be hacked off if it cost me money or a holiday the same as the next person but corperate pushing there weight around and expecting the workers to just bend over and take it is not right either. Companys that work with unions usually have a better relationship with there employee's and as such run a better company. Its been mentioned several times on this thread already that people would rather use another airline than BA. Partly so they dont lose out through strikes but it seems also because they dont like how BA have gone about things. I say again, I still dont like strikes as its us that get effected in one way or another but I try to look at the bigger picture rather than just label those who strike as scum. The Petrol strikes a few years ago effected us all in the short term but were meant to help us all in the long term. It didnt work ultimatly but were they Scum?
-
Im not trying to suggest striking was the best thing to do or suggest it was all rosey. Most firefighters I spoke to wished they wernt striking as peoples lives were at risk. Most also thought that if some kind action wasnt taken then the fireservice would be undermind and eventualy run at a lower standard and as such risk further lives. Dont think many were proud of the action but the reasons behind it suggest that something needed to be done. Whos fault is it that it had to got to strike action? Oh and the Services that fight for our country are putting there lives at risk all over the world and IMO should be looked after far more than they are right now both in equipment and in pay. This country takes the P**s all over the place and has done for years.
-
That 40% pay rise would have taken there basic to £30,000 Per Year! Christ I am not a million miles away from that for fixing computers at a bloody zoo and these people risk there lives for us so why shouldnt they be on a reasonable wage???? http://www.politics.co.uk/briefings-guides/issue-briefs/policing-and-crime/firefighters-pay-$366553.htm Those are the facts on the Firefighters strikes and what they were after and why and also what they were offered. While I dont like strikes as they usually effect joe public I also understand that they are usually brought about to ultimatly improve the lives of many.
-
I wonder if the strikes had not happened and cuts to the fireservice were made resulting in an extra 2 deaths a month would have made you feel as strongly. Strikes never seem nice at the time but if the fat cats at the top are alloud to make cuts and changes that just improve profit margins and there pay packets all the time while the people at the bottom are the scape goats for when things go arse up then the country would go down hill allot faster IMO.

Lord Malw***er has stepped down so its up to the new guy. Will he be as tough? Kin hope so!!!!! Cant see how the club can keep up with a CVA if it has been liquidated though and the only reason I can see HMRC agreeing to anything today is if they agree that Android should get on with creating a CVA. Cant see them to agreeing to what it says but mearly agreeing to the club creating one (which is what this meeting is all about i think) should be a yes vote from everyone.

Exactly! I just cant believe he is moaning on about how unfair it all is when he hasnt even applied for the bloody licence! How can he complain about something when he is the one that hasnt done whats needed? I am actually starting to feel sorry for a few of the genuine blue few. I know we had a muppet in charge for a long time but I cant remember him being as much of an embarresment to our club as AA is being to theirs. And he who need not be named had a fair go at it!
-
AA still thinks playing in Europe next season is a possability. lol http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6123550,00.html The licence has not been rejected cause Poopy STILL have not applied for it!!!! So its gone past the deadline, they know this, the FA and Prem have said they would not support a late application because the deadline is clear and everyone else has to follow the same deadline, Platini has said Poopy have cheated and should not be allowed there licence cause money is owed to tax and other clubs and he still thinks he has a case? If he spent this much time on trying to save the club from going out of business all together Poopy might have had a chance. lol

I thought that report was written by a 12 year old kid so with me being an illiterate fool I wont bother doing any reports of events.
-
Oh if only I still had Photoshop on my PC, im sure there are a few faces that would look great on that pic. lol
-
LOL Classic!
-
as moronic as this thread has become its also quite funny. General attitudes of some so called "football fans" do nothing but justify the police's hard stance on policing football matches. And then the mugs go and complain about being treated unfgairly by the old bill. LOL
-
fair point but I think if that many teams folded they would have to give a flying f**k about other teams. There worship the top 6 and f**k everyone else approach would be highlighted and they would quickly lose support. I wonder if that would then spark the alternate league that I think has been touted before?
-
I think if that many teams were to go under all around the same time the FA, Prem and FL would go into melt down. Certainly wouldnt look like the strongest football leagues in the world and wouldnt do them any favours at all.
-
How about they fold before the end of the season, 3 automatics go up and we get a play off space, Someone restarts Palace over the summer and they get a place back in league 1? Carlsberg dont do league fixing, but if they did.....
