That seems to be the picture that AA paints but the vote has not taken place just yet. It could be that he is just dressing things up to make it look like all is well and the vote will go his way so fans and those that back him dont get panicy. Griffin support someone and im guessing its not going to be one of the smaller debt people so whoever that person/s is I guess they will be voting against also. HMRC may well have had someting to do with Griffins proposal but I doubt that will ever be admitted so HMRC + A N Other + some agent who is owed 40k + a few more and I would have thought that over 25% would have been reached. I will be amazed if the vote gets passed and thats the last that we hear about it though.

But every league has parachute payments. Ok they wont be as big as the ones from the Prem but then the debts prob wouldnt be as big as those from the prem either. The idea that Griffin have of using as much of the income as possible to repay debts and leave the club sitting 1 or possible 2 divisions lower to rebuild seems fair enough to me. We did most of the admin work in shipping out players and playing the youth team and came out of admin 2 whole divisions lower than we were before things all went wrong. OK the timing of all the main things was different but essentially this is what has happened. For Poopy to screw things up and get relegated then use admin to dump most of its debt and then still think it can challenge for promotion back to the prem sound mental to me. I just think that if a club takes this route it sould be forced to honour its debts before mad cap plans to concour the leagues begin.

Also just noticed that when you Reply with Quote the cursor is right at the beginning of the quote where as it used to be automattically at the end with a couple of line spaces. Is this a change to get used to or will that be changed back to the old way? Out of habbit I guess I and others look to type below the quote but not fussed either way. -
I am actually stunned by that. If the creditors accept that offer they must be mad. Even if Griffin's offer was unreachable there must be some ground in the middle that would be better for all party's. To come out of Admin with a CVA based on paying naff all back while funding a bunch of overpaid players must be benifitting from going into Admin. They were relegated even without the - points so I cant see how they have suffered should it now go well for them??? Also I thought Footballing debts have to be paid back in full so where does that leave a football agent being owed 40k? Is that not a footballing debt on the back of a transfer or something? Why does he have to vote with the non footballing debts? Can HMRC argue that the money owed to them is all part of the same pot and therefor over the 25% before a CVA gets agreed? Or can AA just keep making up facts and figures to suit when ever he wants? At what point do authorities get suspicious and take a look into whats going on? It seems plain as day that the administrator is not working for the benifit of the creditors but instead working for the benifit of Chainrai. Who's call is it to double check this?

Not sure if anything about the type was done last night or not but today it seems to be better. Not perfect but the text is trying to keep up with fingers. Still going on the 1st impressions but I think the last site did look more modern than this one. Looking more closley the features look a little more modern but the overall look and feel of the site does look dated and a little more ameture than before. Maybe its just the use of Solid colours everywhere rather than the more toned faded look? The bar going accross above this text box for instance saying Quick Reply. The colour seems to be faded from Dark to light and makes it look smooth. Where as the +Reply to Thread box above the Quick Reply seems to be basic Red and its the same with all the buttons and bars going across the screen. Seems to me that its only small alterations that might make it all look allot better overall? -
I think if HMRC were ever going to vote for a CVA it would likly be the Griffin one. I cant remember any other club in admin that came close to offering what Griffin believe they can. If it is correct then surly that template should be used for all clubs that go this route? Might make clubs think twice about getting themselves into that much trouble in the 1st place when they know the only way out involves looking after everyone but yourselves for the next 5 years. EDIT: Dammit!!! must remember to hit reply with quote in future!!!

Brilliant. I wonder what that does for the supposed meeting Thursday?

No doubt it will be someone elses fault too.

Dont know if this helps or not but the type doesnt show up while your typing. when you stop typing the text takes about 1 second per letter before it shows up. -

Im pretty sure the techy probs will get sorted in time and some of the new features actually seem like they will be better once the probs are ironed out. Think most agree on the new layout not looking as good as the old layout though. Maybe it will change and maybe it wont. Will have to wait and see I suppose. -

Sorry I wasnt trying to say it wasnt. Just backing up what Ewell said as to why its not possible for some users to just use another browser. It does seem a bit sluggish on IE though and type takes a few seconds to catch up with fingers. Wish I had some ideas that may help but I stay well away from web stuff so cant even offer anything usefull. -

I am the admin for a fairly large network and IE is the default cause its less work for me to do. If I had to install Firefox on everyones machine and give rights to update it to everyone my network would be screwed in 1 month. Firefox is faster but to save a heap load of work its much easier to stick with IE. Most business's will have similar logic so any new site should be made with IE in mind more than any other. -
The CVA vote is Thursday and AA is basically saying that if the vote goes well they will be appointing there new manager later in the same day. Fat chance of it happening though as IMO the Tax man will vote against and a few others may well vote against too so allot more than the magical 25% will say NO. They then have 21 days or something to come back with a better offer and if that fails then down the plug they go or they could out of admin without the cva and earn themselves a pot load of minus points.
-
But much of the creditors are the local business's that have supported the club up till now. Would they support the club in the future so well if they can only expect to get 20p in the pound whle the club continue to live above its means? If the creditors are happy that everything has been done to pay debts and make the club sustainable they are more likly to support it going forward.

1st impression is not good but just read Baj's post so once the techy stuff is all working I guess the looks will change to suit. Suprised at the banner too. Not that I had a go at making one or would have been any better but it does seem like its a step down to what we had. That might just be due to the colour scemes and so on though so happy to wait and see. -
For a country that loves to make music with there voices and drums I dont get why there national instument sounds like a school full of 5 year olds having wazzoo band practice.
-
I am glad I am not the only one who cant stand them. Did my head in for the whole match and would be really happy if the bloody things are banned. Much prefer to hear cheering, chanting and songs from the fans. Much more passionate.
-
Isnt the definition of a Billionare different in some country's? I would have thought its a million million and above but I think some count 100 million as a billionare???

It must be better for the creditors in the long run for the club to exist rather than not but the Griffins report plan for the club to sink as low as League 2 and still be around. The likes of Torquay, Notts County, Port Vale and Accrinton Stanley may as well close up shop as obviously that level is non existant according to Android. His plan seems to be stay as high as possible in the leagues while giving as little as possible to the creditors. Shouldnt his remit be give as much to the creditors as possible and see how high the club end up?
-
Dont even think thats the case although im sure there is some way round it if you have enough dosh. Champions League could be compromised if you own 2 teams that could end up playing each other for instance. Poopy are a long way of that level obviously but still.....
-
I thought he had something to do with them but to own Chelsea he had to make some kind of changes. I think he has more to do with the national team now or something.
-
Ah ok and cheers for that. Assuming that his security is valid it doesnt look like its a worthwile option to the people that might look to lose out either way. If HMRC are set to oppose the CVA and who ever Griffins are talking on behalf of are also set to oppose it then they may be closer to Liquidation what ever happens. If prospective buyers are few and far between with things as they stand I guess they will be even fewer with the possibility of further points due to no CVA and possibly yet more to come due to the way the club has been run in the past. We have new owners and a practically new team but we still carried the punishment for what the previous lot did. Anyone looking at Poopy will no doubt take that into there thoughts.
-
Thats what I was asking though, would unsecurred creditors be treated the same as securred creditors if a liquidation were to happen? So would Chanrai get the same %'age as everyone else of whats left? I didnt think about the players leaving on a free or the parachute payments so thinking again the pot would get allot smaller so maybe its not better than the 20%. If I was a creditor being offered 20p in the pound while Millions go everywhere else and millions more are still being spunked on the team I think I might be tempted to tell them to F Off and take my chances in Liquidation. Would depend on how much I was expecting to lose mind but the temptation would still be there.
-
If the company is liquidated completly do footballing debts have to be paid in full or is any funds raised split equally between all creditors? It could mean that liquidation would still raise more than the 20% the non footballing creditors can expect anyway so yet another stupid comment from Android if the above is true.
