  1. He is sounding more and more like a blithering idiot. And this guy is being talked up to manage the national team someday? lol Either he really is a complete fool and is going to be walked over forever more or he is cleverly acting the fool to hide the dodgy dealing that seem to follow him where ever he goes. Fact is he admited to being paid money for the crouch deal and it went via a Monaco secret bank with a code word without paying any tax. Cant see that fact being brushed aside cause the guy is a village idiot.
  2. This is what I am confused about, he was here not so long back saying Chinny would be better to offload now at a loss rather than wait for the club to go pop as the land is worth no more than £4 million? So what land have Pompey been hiding away thats worth £20 million I wonder? Is it not worth selling that land and paying off the CVA/HMRC/Charitys and so on? Then letting a few high earners walk away from there lucrative contracts so they can find less lucrative contracts elsewhere thus saving the club a few quid and getting back to within its means? I take it those players will be replaced with players that keep the cash flow on the right side this time or course? No wonder serious business men are chomping at the bit to rescue pompey.........
  3. Sorry what are Tesco willing to pay £20 mil for? And what land is ever free of charge? You sound like you are living in some kind of dream land where everyone your club owes money to are happy to wipe it clean so someone can turn up and fleace yet more people and on top of that there seem to be people waiting around ready to give you even more? Maybe its me who "just doesnt get it"????
  4. So with Milan and Arry telling different storries to diferent people the tax evasion is starting to look more like some kind of cover up between them or at least by one of them. The money so far looks like its believed to be to do with players in and out of the club, although I thought there were 2 counts of evasion and so far we've only heard about 1 to do with Crouch??? I know we havent heard the rest yet and the defence has yet to make its case but just based on what we have heard so far it sounds like the club are implicated at least and this will leave the FL to make a decission right? Im sure Luton and prob a few others would be watching with interest as to how the FL handle it should whats been said so far get the guilty verdict. Then back to Pompeys current situation, the realisation that the debt is actually allot more than the blue phew care to admit to and its becoming more obvious that they need a complete mentalist to empty their own bank account in a bid to save them! At what point does someone down that way actually start trying to sort out an AFC pompey? Is there such an outfit already? If so I would like to offer my words of encouragement to such a project and wishes of good luck. Web link anyone? Contact email or something? Anything? It doesnt look good for them so I guess AFC pompey is on the back burner hidden away somewhere or something. When is the next web chat thing?
  5. The CVA covers the creditors at the time of admin, since then Chainrai put some into the club to keep it going with wages and so on, CSI bought the club off Chainrai so I would guess that anything Chainrai had loaned the club on top of the CVA would have been transfered into the purchace from CSI. But heres the thing, CSI hadnt actually paid Chainrai anything which is why he is still hanging around. He has a charge on CSI for what they promised to pay him for the club in installments. While they had the club they put in around 11 million to fund the club since they have had it. 1.6 million of tax hadnt been paid up until December (now near the end of January so presume that figure is shortly going up) which adds to the amount owed on top of the CVA. Now if no more PP payments have been touched and the Creditors from the CVA are covered then thats a little relief for you but it hardly scratches the surface does it? I suppose those owed £2500 or less will be kept waiting too right? Lets say all of that gets settled by Chainrai who is owed a fair bit (on top of the CVA) and CSI's banks that are owed money around 11 million are both happy for much of that debt to be wiped clean and take a loss, The club gets picked up for next to nothing or a few million to be shared between Chainrai and CSI's banks. The new owners will still be paying rent on the ground to Chainrai and also land locked due to Gaydamak owning the car parks. How much more would it take to claim all of that back? Clock is ticking by now as the small but fairly expensive squad that will no doubt refuse to shred their contracts will be wanting payment, as will the tax man again. Would the crowd return by then to help out with the cash flow or will the new owner be ready to pump enough in to keep them going in the short term? You seem to think much of what is owed will just vanish into thin air and no-one will be bothered. IMO that is what should happen as the crooks deserve none of it but I just cant see it happening somehow.
  6. Ah brilliant, everything is Rosie then and we can close the thread very shortly. No stone has been left un-turned and all the creditors not involved in the CVA have been hanging around just so they can walk away with a fraction of what they put in. They must have been there for the love of the club and to help out the bestest fans n all that. Its all clear now and I dont know why couldnt we see it before?
  7. LOL that NOTW interview sounds pretty damning. Sounds like its stitching up Milan pretty well. Will he now turn and stitch up Baggy so he doesnt go down alone?
  8. Not quite banned. Just not inside the court room. Strange decission as a bit of tapping on phones (presumebly on complete silent mode) is surley less distracting than reporters leaving the room every time they feel there is enough to go and tweet? Scribbling down the info must make as much noise as tapping into a phone?
  9. What you reckon? Less than the last bid or a friendly bail out to help them out?
  10. good points, I suppose it doesnt state how big a stadium needs to be and I doubt they would need to go as big as 12k at Moneyfields or somewhere.
  11. Ok so the club goes pop and there is no football to be played. the council are going to stick by that and make sure there is a football stadium there or somewhere for ever more for absolutley no reason? As long as there is PFC they are not going to budge but I dont think it would take much convincing to change their views if the club disapears. It may take a year or 2 but if Chainrai can get 3-5 million for the land once the council give in then Chanrai will turn off the electric and lock the doors for as long as it takes IMO
  12. If thats the case he is more likley to let the club go for a quid just to get himself out of it all. Id guess he wants more than that out of it though.
  13. Surley thats true as long as there is a football club. If PFC gets liquidated by the Administrator and not by word of Chainrai then what happenes? How long before the council allow for something other than a football club to be built there? What if AFC pompey start up without Chainrai at moneyfields or something? I doubt the council will demand that the place stays as a football ground when its not used at all. If Tescos want it then im sure they would also put pressure on the council and give good reason as to why it would be a benifit to the area and so on. Just dont think it would take much arm twisting if PFC go pop.
  14. Chinnys charge on PFC (the club) is via CSI so he will get what ever he gets via the sale or liquidation of CSI I believe. He still owns the PFC ground though which is also the land. So if the club gets liquidated and proceeds are sent to the original creditors from the CVA and anything left over goes back to CSI then he will get his share out of that. How long before the ground is demolished and land sold to Tesco's or someone? Both Chainrai and Gaydamak im sure will get as much as they can out of that which should cover more of their losses than anything a potential buyer of the club is prepared to offer. You may find a white knight, Chainrai may accept a ridiculas price and take a loss, Gaydamak may want out and sell up on the cheap too, the FL may be kind and not give you further points deductions while Harry and Milan's court case may get thrown out in the next day or so or bare absolutley no connections to PFC. Have I missed anything? Oh yeah, if that lot happens chuck a couple of quid on the euromilliions.
  15. Slight problem with the drugs that are available right now is there is no controlled testing on the product other than "does it get you smashed?" if it was legalised then there would be vigourous testing and the end product would no doubt be much weaker than what is currently available. mixtures would be made up that reduce certain side effects and in theory the drug would be a whole lot safer than it currently is. What would alcohol be like if it turned up on the black market today? Flavoured white spirits maybe? Like I said before, I am not suggesting it should be legalised but can certainly see the arguement and think its worth a better debate than has gone on before. To put it in the same sentance as rape is a bit odd though. Nothing can be done to rape to make it weaker or controlled and it involves someone not giving their consent. Maybe some of the money being saved from chasing muppets selling weed could also be put towards more police on the street making more possible rape victims safer?
  16. And for the record this case does (or could) involve Pompey very muchly so rather than dipping in and out of here to another thread i'd like the updates to be here please.
  17. lol I was wondering if someone would go back and find that. Thought at the time he was tempting fate when all didnt look well for the blue phew.
  18. Not trying anything, you would be surprised how many people have collected that kind of stuff over the years only to realise later that its not what they thought was nice years earlier so donate the stuff to anyone who will have it. The room behind my office is full of dead animals and tacky hand bags made of various animals and things. Sounds like you actually like that stuff though so will leave you to it. Not my cup of tea at all and I hear allot of stories about how these things come about which makes my blood boil. No idea where your stuff has come from so not having a pop (or biting if your on a wind up).
  19. I cant imagine why anyone would want that kind of thing. Not sure if your talking real or fake or wooden or something but even replica stuff like that is pretty much strange things to be decorating a house with. If you ever want to donate it to a zoo let me know as our education team often take in skin's furs and ornaments for teaching sessions regarding various stages of animals around the world.
  20. Yeah im sure I have seen something that outlines it but chose to type the idea rather than look for anything factual that could end me in the shiiiiiite.
  21. I think there would be a massive cost involved into creating a relitivly safe legal version of anything but im sure alcohol companies or pharmical companies would gladly take that on the chin if they knew there was a profit to be made. End result would mean we know whats in what ever is being taken and Boots arnt going to be selling one thing while advising you that Heroin or crack would be much better for you. It will never happen but the argument makes sense to me at least. I am happy that my drug taking days are well behind me and even if anything like that became legal I doubt I would go near it. I wont be advising my kids to go out and try anything legal or not either. much more fun things to waste money on these days IMO.
  22. I knew someone who would normally go through around 20 pills in a night, be gutted that he could only get hold of 10 one night, take 2 then get caught for the rest and get a 6 year sentance. I agree that sometimes it seems like a feeble "war" but its not something that is taken lightly. The police and system do try to make examples out of people and take a hard line aproch but there are so many people doing it the system is p**sing into the wind any time it takes action. The pride of the system only happens when customs or police find a massive stash coming into the country or moving round it. Locking up one person for minor or major offences is not something to be proud of as they know that for every 1 there are 100's more that havent been caught or ready to take over. Take their market away from them and what are they going to do then? Legalising may not be the answer and I am not suggesting it is but I would agree that the current method is not working and it might take some drastic turn to make any change whats so ever. Your point about ciggies is correct though, the same goes for alcohol. If that came about now the system would have a fit about this drink that makes people act weird, lose inhibitions, get into fights and cause death and destruction. BANNED! We all know that those examples are on the extreme end of drinking alcohol but the papers wouldnt report about a couple who enjoyed a glass of wine with a meal when there was a drunken fight going on would they?
  23. Seriously?
  24. I used to take recreational drugs regularly on nights out. Now completly clean and enjoy nights out without the need for much drink or any drugs. But I would agree with what branson is saying. The amount of money being spent to stop what is impossible to stop is ridiculas. Where as if there was some kind of decriminalisation or a legal alternative it would put the criminals out of business in that area and free up funds to tackle our debt, target the criminals higher up, deal with the criminals lower down better and create more money for the gov by taxing anything they sell legally. It doesnt stop people taking drugs but neither does locking them up. It would stop a hell of a lot selling drugs though which would kill a huge chain in the organised crime.
