I have to agree with Phil too. Crouch wanted to do the right thing and probably did more fan pleasing stuff than the others but I cant help thinking he played his part in us going down hill fast. All 3 need lining up, bent over and have a cactus soved up there arse's IMO. Had Crouch stood back and did not allot then we would have carried on not getting anywhere but carried on within our means. That would probably mean we would not be under a new financially sound owner now which would be the major issue but I dont think we would have gone bust. Just going nowhere fast. Had Crouch Wilde and Lowe worked together I think it was very possible that they could have slowly turned things round but ultimatly we would still not have seen the back of them. Crouch's offer of 2 Mill if the others do the same was about as useful as me offering 2 Mil as long as each of you do the same. I know you cant afford it but I look the business for showing I am a proper fan Overall the best has come out of a pretty crappy situation. Crouch can be thanked tremendously for replacing that Statue though. The original still makes me laugh every time I see a picture. Did Crouch or anyone not see it before it was unveiled???

Christ on a bike is this still going? People should be able to enjoy watching football without the threat of violence of any kind. If the authorities think its right to dish out stupid punishments compared to other crimes because they think this will result in less threat of violence then who can argue? Im quite impressed that the world cup has gone on with no segragation and no issues and if South Africa can do it then it kinda take the P out of the home of football and all its rivalry doesnt it?

Didnt Reading take up the option of a further year on Antonio? Was either because Reading want to make use of him now he has proven he can be useful or they thought we were going to want him and if they didnt take the extra year then they would have got naff all for him. Taking the extra year they are probably waiting for us to make an offer. Would we go back for him or look to get someone better in? I thought we had an option on Pappa too so letting him go back suggests we didnt take up that option?

Maybe but aa still seems to be doing the jobs lampit should be doing. Is lampit sitting back making sure his name is nothing to do with anything aa touches? Actually your right. Just being at poopy when there in such a state has prob taken his career on a nose dive. Lol
-
LOL I dont see a problem in that at all.
-
After seeing how AA conducts his business I would guess that Lampit doesnt want to get his hands dirty.

Probably already been posted but does this guy actually think deals are done without using the Agents? Surly if he cuts them out they will get an arse on and speak to there players negitavly about the possible transfer and fook the deal up? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11674_6238311,00.html

And probably a nice little wedge to Storrie's off shore bank account too. It wouldnt suprise me if Storrie steps in to scupper the deal before he gets himself further in the poopy poop.

Im sure there will be a smiley somewhere that fits this?
-
Go into your User Control Panel thingy ma jig and at the bottom somewhere you can change the type thiingy to YMFYMCAFG Or something. You will know when you see it. Change it to that from the standard one and your type will appear corectly and you will also be able to get smileys when you go advanced.

I still think it looks a little more basic but think its a small change that would make that difference. The red bar saying Quick Reply has graded colour from dark red up to light red where as all the other red bars look to be just a flat colour. Seems like a simple change that would make the site look a little more updated but none of that really makes a difference to me coming here or not. Still like the site and the info I read is generally relivent and focus on what I come here for anyway. Sometimes takes a bit longer to load but nothing to cry about. Still worth the £5 so Child seems like he is being a bit a drama queen.

If HMRC do what they did to Leeds then poopy will be firmly in the poop as the appeal will go in last min and the embargo wont be lifted until very late. poopy will have to exit administration without the cva and mega points deductions will be thrown at the blue few. Well thats how most Saints fans would like it to pan out. I wouldnt be suprised if there are a few more twists and turns between now and then and the slippery lil suckers will no doubt worm out of more than there fair share of poop.

If they dont understand how bad there situation is then there is not much hope for us to understand it either. When we were up the shoot we all thought things were allot worse than they were. But even an Estate Agent came close to taking us over so our finances could not have been that bad. Poopy's options seem to be to hope for a mega mega rich person to come along that considers there problems as small change. lol

The comments on that page are quite funny. This guy thinks there will be no apeal as HMRC's claim is not a viable legal reason!!!

But if you were warned not to murder a child at a specific time and place and then the police turned out in numbers, errected a huge fence to keep you apart from said child and stood around filming you trying to get at it looking like you wanted to murder it. Would you not expect the Police to come down hard on you?

I can honestly see your point and like I have said a number of times, compared to sentances elsewhere away from football these sentances seem as mad as a box of frogs. But, there are countless opinions given as to why they let them out at the same time and why the sentances are so tough. They will also probably appeal and have there sentances reduced. The press building up the game before hand and the publicity on the fence and police before hand and the dramatisation from the press after meant that Football related trouble had to be stamped on quick and hard. Joe blogs from skegness probably couldnt give a rats arse but Like someone else suggested, FIFA would be watching out for all football related trouble and would no doubt consider it when deciding who gets the World Cup or any other footballing events. They would have probably seen the inital trouble and how it was dealt with and no doubt heard about the sentancing. Will any appeal be as public? All IMO of course but its quite possible the above has had something to do with it.
-
If they want to employ the fence strategy again they will no doubt have to improve it. Or like you say, scrap it and keep the blue few in. It seems a bit daft that this element only really attaches its self to football though and surly in this day and age people need to grow up a bit and not behave like thugs to support a team. If harsh sentancing means rival crowds can mix more fluedly in years to come then we will probably look back and say its a good thing. If however the sentancing carrys on changing with the weather we will probably still be cursing the OB and the fact they dont have a clue.
-
Im not trying to get involved in the arguement between you and Dune as I think that has side tracked from the original debate. The wall does matter in that the OB probably would have kept the poopy lot in had there not been the fence. Will be interesting to see if they put a fence up next time (if there is a next time) we play poopy at SMS. I would have thought they think it was a success although blocking off the garage might be an added extra next time?
-
Did they errect a frigging big fence/wall at Nottarf Krap?
-
I suppose the Radio station saved some cost in advertising and also created revenue in selling advertising but it was never going to be a real money spinner. Had the credit card and or insurance taken off I suppose they would have made some cash. (you dont often here of insurance companys struggling for profit) But I dont think they ever got the support based on much larger companys offering better deals. Had both worked then they would have gone towards financing the club in the absence of a sugar daddy. They didnt and we sunk. I agree that if we still had those 2 companys then the FL would have looked at us differently and we would have avoided the points. We would have probably hit admin earlier too mind.
-
Is it also standard practice to errect a friggin big fence/wall to keep rival fans apart? Could it be that the OB thought they put the fence up so they could get the fans the hell outa there ASAP rather than anyone paying extra for the OB to hang around for the next hour getting rid of saints fans so the Poopy lot could get home saftly? It would have probably been better to stagger the exits of fans but then there would have been no need for the fence.
-
Could it be that the OB went for the charges they did thinking that the judge may reduce the charges to Threatening Behaviour or on appeal the charges may get reduced? Aim high and still get a result if the Judge sides with the defendants a bit? Just an idea and no idea if they would or could do that.
-
I might have missed that but I thought View From The Top said that the OB were going for a custodial sentance. Didnt see they had one agreed already. Isnt that illegal in its self? Surly any Barrister worth his salt would be able to get a case thrown out of court if he could prove the OB were acting a Judge and Jury before someone is even proven guilty in the court of law and all that?
-
If they wanted to catch a load of muppets having a ruck you would have thought they wouldnt have bothered putting up a fence to seperate them wouldnt you?
-
Are you suggesting that had one of the saints fans involved was weilding a machette the OB would still have just sat back and filmed it?
