  1. Any chance of a quick recap of where we are? Got stuck fitting web cams into a lions den all afternoon yesterday and went to Newquay on a night out last night. So only just got up and could do with the News linky thingy and a rough idea of how HMRC's turn in court finished off?
  2. I would have thought there will be mixed opinion about the wimbledon case as all creditors got the small % in the pound from the CVA and only new buyers put the money in to pay the rest off to football creditors. HMRC wants to get rid of the FCR on one hand but if its going to stay they will want to make sure any money the club have in parachute payments and so on, should be going to all the creditors and any new owner should be paying the football creditors the rest of there money to satisfy any members club. If the parachute money and tv rights money and all that were to be used just to pay a percentage in the pound it should put that percentage to more than 20%.
  3. They might have sust me out. They havnt posted my responces to Earnest. But then they go and post GM's little beauty and redNwhites so they must just have a crap live feed thingy Oh no theres mine now. lmao
  4. You know thats me dont ya???? lol
  5. Cha-Ching!!!! lmao
  6. LMAO, Figured the only way I was going to get on was to sound like one of them. My only aim is to try to sound more delusional than they are to see if it sparks a few of the other delusional few into yet more riduiculas comments lol My last comment (yet to get on there) was asking how long it will take for Pompy to take HMRC to court for delaying there seasons preperations. lol
  7. BlueJay is me lol
  8. Oops!!! They just posted mine anyway. I felt sick writing it but it might make a few of them follow with equally ridiculas comments lol
  9. Doesnt a copy get given to the skates at the same time?
  10. I posted as BlueJay asking if Handy Andy will be at court today. Not seen that come up either. figured I would get in with a few posts to gain there trust but getting no-where fast lol.
  11. I had a reply from him: bbc_matt I might go tomorrow (theres a good chance it will spill over) then posts a link to a blog by someone. Nothin in there that we dont know already but there is a bit from some finacial expert that thinks all is not clear cut and pompy are in serious poop. Probably already posted while I type this but the live feed says case is adjourned for the judge to read extra papers submitted by the tax man.
  12. bbc_matt on twitter posted: Alberto #Contador has just signed 4 Riis Cycling, apparently. Not a massive supprise. My reply: @bbc_matt shoulnt you be in court with a red and white scarf and pants not tweeting the news? He must have gone in now cause I dont have a reply. lol
  13. He has never been liked but there wasnt many protests when the club was doing well. The point is, if he gets things right then people will accept it. If he gets things wrong and is not a likable chap then the crowds will turn very quickly. His job is to get things right so thats what he will try to do. His job is not to be mates with everyone and to enjoy a beer in the pub with.
  14. Meh, NC seems like the kind of guy that wont be happy unless everything is running like clockwork. If you work at the club and your not doing a good enough job then it seems you should be frightend for your job may soon become someone elses. NC's job so far has got us to be League 1 favs. I dont think there are many of us that think we will defo go up because of that and maybe NC wants to push everyone at the club to make sure they are doing everything they can to make sure we do achieve it. No good sitting back lapping up the plaudits for saving the club while letting everyone plod along in the same direction as before. Crack the whip and get on with it IMO is a good move. Having a spat with the league will only do us wrong if we try and step outside of the FL rules. As its then that they will come down hard to make a point on any jumped up chairmen. As long we we play by the book and concentrate on our job the FL can whistle. If he has a point then it wont take long for other charimen to follow suit and the FL will have to look at things more seriously. If he hasnt got a point then the FL will be glad when we either come a cropper or get promoted back to the Prem. Until then I think we would be better off enjoying the football, or at least trying to, and support the team. Only worth reacting to the actual news we hear rather than the constant stream of rumours.
  15. I think if they can prove the image rights are a tax avoidance then that will spark a further case to deal with that issue. HMRC's bill included the image rights bit and aa accepted and then put it in the CVA. HMRC are now using aa's last min changes to remove what was once included as the means to appeal. They may go in deeper as to what the image rights are for and if they are just but I didn't think this court case is where they can deal with that fully. If things go bad for pompy today then it could open up a shed load of court cases against former owners and directors for more tax evasion and so on. I would have thought HMRC will be going after the general dodgy way the CVA has been handled and pushed through to get the appeal won and pompy liquidated. Then they can get there hands on the books and figure out who they need to go after for all the tax evasion that went on before. Today could just be the start of a really bad spell for the blue few.
  16. God knows why I am up at this time but I was going to post something similar earlier and forgot. I asked if he was covering the pompy saga in court and he said yes but due to nearly getting arrested for tweeting last time he can't promise tweets this time. News may be slow tomorrow.
  17. Wasn't that the guy who handled the Leeds adminstration was it? He was asked some questions in the press on pompy's situation. IIRC the questions didn't really open up any serious answers. They spoke about the challenge to the FCR which he thought HMRC wouldn't win cause they didn't before. Don't think they really went into the way aa has been economical with the percentages or the rules on how to go about an administration. Think we all had better questions to ask than the press did.
  18. The big thing is still that the football creditors need to get 100% or Poopy are in the Poop with the FA or something. So even if they forgo there Secured 100% status they will still get there 100% which makes them voting for 20p in the pound rather pointless. If they try to argue that one I think they are buggered!
  19. It wouldnt suprise me if they didnt tackle something to do with the image rights. Some kind of justification may be sought at how come pompy pay so much out on image rights when the likes of Man U set aside much less for the same type of paymants. They may push this as a way of convincing the powers that be that they are cheating the system all over the place and should not be trusted with what excuses they may come up with. Not sure if this court case is where they can tackle like above but it seems like its something they could be thinking about.
  20. so the excitement of tomorrow is starting to set in with us, i wonder how twitchy the blue few will be this evening? Surly they cant be as confident as aa of things going well for them? If it were my club awaiting such a big judgement day I would be crapping it! The worst case scenario of your club going out of business and someone like TCWTB heading up the new AFC team to battle its way around the Blue Square league cant be a feeling that anyone would warm to can it?
  21. I think at the time we all hated how badly things had gone and didnt think things could get any worse. Its ironic how its our closest rivals are showing us how well we handled a pretty crappy situation and making us look like we had a pretty good chairman in RL considering all that went on. Who would have thought RL would have been looked at in any kind of kind light 12 months on from our lowest point?
  22. I'm not sure we can be sure of the reasons for the youth experiment. It was obvious here was no cash, hense the administration over the bank withdrawing there support, i agree that RL thought he knew best in that the kids were capable and had the kids we had available a season or 2 earlier he may have had more of a chance of being right. But at the end of our bad period we had some chairmen who still thought we could throw what little money we had at the situation to improve it and another who thought no money at all would do it. I don't think any of us really know how much the club needed to or could have gone one way or the other. With the level of pompys debt I think it is amazing that they seem to think they need to spend any money at all to move forward. You would think there 1st objective would be to stop spending and start selling but they seem to be deluded and like to flick the v's.
  23. I don't get why people are talking about forskin removal so much on the skates takeover thread so I'm looking forward to it getting back on topic.
  24. Lol they don't like it when one of us post something do they? I liked the comment that goes on about how we will never win a major trophy again to match there record. Will be nice to see us in a few years competing fairly for the fa cup and doing pretty well at trying. Can't see them lot having th same success for a while. Also they were in the lower regions of the FL for some time, I am surprised (not really) to not find there name as winners of the football league trophy. If we ever win the fa cup again then that will not only match the blue few but our tin pot trophy will also put us back ahead of them. How something so small can make such a difference. Lol
