  1. Agree with most of that. I said a while back of making a new bible type thing with teachings of scooter. The german techno mental lyrics chap, do it all script looking and bury it in rocks on the moors and hope it gets found in a few thousand years after an ice age or somit. Would love to be around hearing people sing the hymm "How much is the Fish" or "Move your Ass" how bout a a short prayer? "Diggidy Diggidy Diggidy po, I just want to let you know, shalak. Amen" sounds bonkers now but back when the scripts were made or preachers stood on rocks to tell people stories of gods and parting sea's they may have sounded just as bonkers. The pope being a peado is off though. There is no proof or anything to suggest he is. He just leads and organisation that is known to have covered up child abuse to save it's name. I don't think there is any real proof that the pope knew this was being covered up let alone happening. Ultimatly he is the top man so it's his responsibility none the less.
  2. So the catholic church is the bestest and should be followed above all other religions? Aids is current but years ago it was measles and mumps and before that flu was a killer. Churches back then said it was the work of the devil and it was sinful people that were taken. Sounds ridicules now but back then it was taken seriously. To ban condoms now seems just as ridicules to me. There will never be 1 religion yet there will always be the argument of who has the best religion and wars will be born again so while we have religion we will always have problems.
  3. Only for non footballing debts, last time I checked berkovic is a keeper and spurs resemble a football club so I guess they are in the 100% club.
  4. Haha brilliant. So they planned for it to be in there even as a footballing debt that comes under the 100% payment and they still want to argue it. Lol What hope will the 20p crew have now?
  5. To be fair, I don't think aids deaths are caused by the catholic church preaching condoms shouldn't be used. If that was the case then the catholic church would die out while everyone else played safe.
  6. I don't mind answering these, If we followed the catholic rules of sex before marriage then no aids would not be as wide spread. But aids is not only spread by sex. I did a summer volunteering in Torquay for an awareness thing years ago called sea sand and safer sex. Part of it meant I met 2 people who were HIV positive. 1 who only had 1 sexual partner who was her husband, caught it from her husband as he had been with one woman before his wife who passed it onto him. The other person had a drugs problem and caught it from a dirty needle. Sex is a common cause for transmition but as with all virus', they will find a way to move on. In Africa many men have many wives as part of there traditions and through un-protected sex, aids is passed on frequently. Should we get the world to bin there religions and traditions as catholism is the bestest? Being selective of partners would not lower the rate of abortions. I am married and have enough kids so don't need any more, I have turbo charged nob yogurt and my wife cant go on the pill. Without condoms or reflexes of a cat on rocket fuel the abortion rate in Torbay would prob go up by 10%. people are going to have sex and if they were more responsible they would 1st think a bit more carefully before they go ahead and do it and 2nd they would make sure they have contraception. I don't think condoms are the only answer but to denounce them is very irrisponsible IMO.
  7. Somehow they manage to have a pop at everyone they want to rip off just before, well, ripping them off!
  8. Would be nice and harder for injustice Mann to rule in there favour I guess??

  10. Yeah SSN said they have spoken to AA and he said (quote from the SSN chap) He's not happy about this, He's going to fight this, He's going to appeal the decission. LOL Good luck with that one then I know we have previously gone over this deal but to recap the SSN guy also said, Spurs offered to help Pompy out by paying an extra £1 million for Kaboul on the basis that they sign Berkovic. Its all in the contracts agreed and the prem want those contracts upheld. Berkovic went to Stoke and Spurs want there Million back. Seems simple enough to me but I guess the appeal will be dressed up about how everyone is against Pompy and its not there fault or something. lol
  11. Breaking news on SSN says the Prem league have to pay Spurs £1 Million for the keeper they never signed. I doubt that was in the CVA. lmao
  12. No I dont think there would. The church is so tied in with so many countries it would be seen as an insult to god or something and start off a holy war! 1 Billion people world wide is around 10% which is around the same figure that is estimated for the world homosexual comunity. Just because they have that many people on there side do you think they need a leader now?
  13. I agree and I hope I dont offend anyone when I ramble. I think its an interesting debate and I find some of the aguments for religion just plain confusing. I can see a great deal of good that is done by religious people and like you say there are many non religious people that do as much good at other times. If religion was just about doing the right thing and making yourself a better person while helping others around you then the world would be a much nicer place. The world is not always a nice place though and sometimes we have to look hard to find something good. To blindly follow the words in a book as if they have been sent from above seems like madness to me though and then some of the extreme things to come out of some peoples interpertations of those words just makes me think maybe things would sometimes be better without as much religion.
  14. yeah back on topic a little, The idea of him coming here as the head of a church is not what I am against. I dont agree with the cover up that his church (he is the leader of so should take the responsability of whether he knew or not) has done regarding what has been mentioned on this thread. But you say 6 million brits follow this lifestyle. Thats about 10% of the brittish population. Its believed the Homosexual population in Britton is around 6%. I dont believe the Gay comunity has an out and out leader that would require £12 million spent on a visit but your point on Gay Pride will do. Who pays for the Gay Pride carnival's or parades? If its all just a lifestyle choice how come we the tax payer, including those who are not followers are expected to pay for his visit? Should a gay pride festival also be paid for out of the public purse?
  15. Thats the thing though, Someone, not a god or spititual being or anything like that but Someone wrote these Scriptures thousands of years ago. Not millions of years ago when the earth was formed, Religion is something that was born by people who didnt understand how things happened. Red Indians did rain dances to make it rain, Human Sacrifices took place to appease gods, Scientology..... nuff said. Many of the practices that have gone on over the years from many different religions have later been shown to be not worth a pinch of salt. So following the rules layed on on some scriptures that someone made thousands of years ago does not make religions any more real or worth believing. If I make a book in the same way of a bible but quote nothing but Lyrics from Scooter tracks, bury it in rocks somewhere up on the moors with an accompaning letter stating how it was found that Scooter was a god and his message was Move Your Ass! Then in 10,000 years time someone finds it and starts up the Scooter religion based on this ancient artifact they have just found, spreading the word of twisted KLF lyrics about the justified and the ancient and Dave on a Train with a Fish they do not know the price of and it all sounds pretty silly. I wonder what the people were thinking when they wrote these Scriptures?
  16. Often the use of Capitol words are to express shouting. When ever I read your posts I find myself going from talking voice to shouting voice (all in my head fortunatly) and back again losing concentration often after the 1st line or so. Try reading your post in the same way and you will get what I mean. lol
  17. Ah Sorry I thought it was after the england game that happened at SMS. My mistake on that. But now I realise you are tallking about a racist attack that happened in Southampton after a football match that happened somewhere else. So no racists attacks ever happen in Pompy no? Or just not enough to make the news? Thanks for the insult though. Nice to know you can debate openly on our forum.
  18. Dear Danny, If you were to print the above would you use so many capitol letters?
  19. Trouble is, scientifically speaking, diseases evolve along with everything else. So while you can look at the prime cause for Aids spreading to be sexual encounters its only a matter of time before another deadly virus hits the human race via another method. Bird flu has been the closest so far but I doubt that is blamed on gay birds. Religions seem very quick to jump on the wagon against anything that appears to be wrong in their story book, and that goes for all religions. They all have some kind of book that they follow and they all interperet them differenetly. Some more extreme than others but all of them seem pretty potty to me. The basics of being a better person is fine with me but I dont need a story book to tell me not to sleep around un protected. Or to tell me how the world was made or how an invisible man will help me if i pray.
  20. So we should sceintifically believe in an invisible manthat turned up 65 million years after the world was created claiming that it was all his idea, thank him for aids, cancer, peodo's, rapists and murderers cause somehow they are part of his plan too. Then accept that he protected the worst kind of human beings to protect his religion and invisible man above protecting the innocent gods children that stood in the way. And then on top of that we should be happy that so much of our tax money has been spanked on a visit that only invisible man supporting people want? Like I said before, if the catholic church want him to visit then the catholic church can sell some of there gold to pay for his visit. I couldn't give a monkeys if he doesn't visit and in fact, with the economy the way it is I would rather the £12 or so million be spent on cancer research or child sex crime prevention.
  21. Can I join chief? Seriously though, thanks to Danny for explaining the echo's side of things on this and if your trying to stay ballenced then fair play. It may not be all about what the echo print though. Maybe more about a few people that claim to represent the fanbase talking tripe at any given opportunity. I have heard nick illingsworth go on about stuff that I think I know more about and I wouldn't dream of putting myself forward to represent anyone other than myself. The echo might get some flack for giving SISA and NI page space but it's what they say that gets our backs up more. Maybe you could print the results of this poll in response to what some of this forums members think of these groups that claim to represent us now? And please try not to use to many big words on this forum as there are only a few that can read them let alone know what they mean!!
  22. Did that many saints fans get tickets for that England game? I thought most of them are taken up by corperate and England supporters club which include fans from all over the place. My old man tried to get one as he is a saints season ticket holder and was told to do one as they were all gone. So its possible that an England Supporters club member from dear old pompy could have been the people you speak of just as much as it could have been one of ours. If your going to try to pick holes in things at least come up with something thats hard for us to defend.
  23. The idea that religion is all about being nicer people sits fine with me. I think everyone should strive to be the best person they can be and help out when ever possible. If thats the basics then fine. But I dont get the whole believing in an invisible man who made the earth and everything on it. Its been proven thats not the case yet its still drummed into followers as fact. Its all religions too. I know they cant all be right yet they all claim to be and often wars that you say Catholics speak up against are caused by religion its self. I dont claim to know nearly enough about the in's and out's of religions or what they represent but I have not seen a conflict that cant be traced back to peoples belief's. Like I said, if it was all about being a good and nice person I wouldnt have a problem. But they all go way deeper than that and it seems to show the human race up as a gullable bunch.
  24. Do bears crap in the woods?
  25. Seems about right to me. Whilst I have been accused of being a luvvie in the past for daring to think Lowe wasnt the anti christ, I will also be one of the many that out number Mingy in his quest to support the Lowe one.
