  1. LOL but do you think it would be a better place if the debater slating everyone was asked to stay so a massive ruck can kick off?
  2. Not seen many posts by dog but some of Deppo's posts have had me in stitches. I have seen him post very much tongue in cheek stuff and if you get the humour you will find it funny, if you dont you with think he is a nob. Neither is enough to get him banned for those comments though. If he starts personally slating someone however then he runs the risk of getting banned. Sometimes a at the end of an insult is all thats needed to show its tongue in cheek or not. I have no problem in a bit of ribbing and a bit of a laugh but if someone walked into a pub and started a debate with others in the pub only to end up slagging everyone in the pub off and calling them all c**ts I would have thought the backbone of many would have resulted in punches being thrown. All I am saying is it doesnt take much for people on here to hold back on personally slating other posters.
  3. I would be amazed if they have been banned because there views are different to anyone else. More likly banned cause they cant debate without hurling abuse at everyone. How bout the mods make a list of people who have been banned and why, then everyone else can see the behaviour they need to aviod if they want to stay here and debate?
  4. Thing is, If someone wants to come on here and slate something the club has done or is doing then fine but if someone is going to come on here calling other posters names acting all billy big ******** then they will get banned. Its not much to ask everyone to have a little respect for each other. Alps used to get banned IIRC because his negative posts often ended up in abuse getting hurled at each other rather than discussing points raised. Now he comes on and while many think he is still negative, his points are usually discussed in the right way and interesting debates follow. If Alps can do it then so can DBP
  5. Shell meet nut!!!
  6. It's amazing how friends accumulate after selling a house for £1.8m lol
  7. Some pretty slick extracting urine it seems. Wonder how many of those under the £2.5k mark would have voted against had they been aware it was going to be dependent on chainrai taking over? Would that deal have stood had someone else been foolish enough to take over? Glad to see like it's a long way from being over. There is still hope that they will be held accountable somehow and maybe the future will bring a new Pompey to become our rivals.
  8. This thread keeps popping back up and I keep thinking Antonio is NC's secret love child or something cause they keep having meetings. lol
  9. Just noticed there keeper Flavahan or what ever his name is, has signed a new 1 month contract. How come its just 1 month? Or did I read it wrong on the SSN ticker bar?
  10. its on SSN now saying the FA are complaining on behalf of Pompey. AA: Not recieved a penny from Genoa. EDIT: Forgot to add. LOL
  11. The way he does things it really does amaze me that Pompey are still in business at all!!!! As much as its right that they should be paid for a player they sell, they are hardly in a position to go shouting from the rooftops when they have been hard done by. But no doubt the likes of Corp Ho will be on soon to defend the indefendable again. I actually feel sorry for you Mack and those few of you who can actually see the mess for what it is. Hope you can have something to be proud of some time in the future.
  12. I just laughed out loud when I saw the SkySportsLive Twitter update saying "Portsmouth make complaint over Genoa's failure to pay £1.2m instalment for Kevin-Prince Boateng" Whats it like to be owed around 1% of what you have had written off?
  13. I guess they have submitted there business plan to the football league and they will then decide at there next meeting which is the beginning of october? Wonder what they are making of the "Black Holes" in the accounts AA spoke of.
  14. So whats going to be todays serving from the blew few? AA had anything to say in the press latley about how everything is going so smoothly? Whats the latest deadline they have set for being out of admin?
  15. This sum's it up quite well. The OP could have been worded differently and could have been very enlightening. It came accross different though and the flak came in as expected. Seemed to me like it was written in a way to get the reaction it got and I said so at the beginning. I dont have anything against FF and like to hear what he has to say 90% of the time. This one wound me up though and I suppose I bit which probably did as much to start the flak off as the OP did. So appologies if I had any part in it all. On a side note which has more to do with some of the recent posts than the OP. Has anyone noticed how Matt Le'Tiss seems happy enough to speak up about the current regieme and often seem like he is sticking the boot in yet didnt really have a bad word to say about the previous regieme? Is that because of gagging orders? Matt being Lowe Luvvie? Or Matt was happy while he got the Perks? Or maybe he thought things were being done the best they could at the time? I think its a bit strange cause I remember having this argument with my Dad when Lowe was still in charge. I thought it was funny how Matt never jumped on the band wagon of Lowe being the anti-christ and slating him all over the place. My ole man said it was because he was proffesional and doesnt speak out against people that could effect his career or opertunities, said he stays neutral and doesnt get dragged into mud slinging. If that was the case then, what is the case now? Is he still being proffessional? Or is NC worse than Lowe? The same cant be said about L Mac cause he has always been outspoken about his views. Agree with them or not. lol
  16. TBF paying anyone more than they bring in to a business is not going to be helpful. But going by the way news has been delivered from the club so far I guess L Mac would have taken exception to how he was told more than what he might have been told. All guess work though and doubt we will know what any truths will be even if we have already been told the truth.
  17. All well and good but when does the state that the pope is head of, pay for our queen to visit his state? I wouldn't mind our country paying for his visit if the situation could be reversed at another time. IMO the church is not a state and hasn't been for a long time.
  18. A point is better than none and it sounds like we were still creating chances so with a clean sheet we have improved. Moving in the right direction it seems. Another clean sheet and a winning goal must be the next step. Then look to putting a run together. So we have taken the 1st step at least. Hope the next step is in the same direction as the 1st.
  19. I've stayed clear from the match threads recently cause of diy. Quick glance and it sounds like we are having chances which is good. Hopefully no sign of a counter attack screwing us up is there? Really could do with the 3 points!!! COYS!!!
  20. It's not exactly a smear campaign is it? It's reaction to the pope's comments that are offensive to many many people, it's reaction to priests who are supposed to be trustworthy people in high held positions by there following committing what is counted as the worst of crimes to innocent children and it's also the reaction to the accusation that the church that the pope leads was aware of the child rape and abuse and has been covering it up for however long. If these accusations were against any person or organisation other than a religious one then there would be a huge uproar if the gov offered to pay 12 pence towards there visit. Most people can't act the way the church does and get away with it. There are more now ready to stand up against the church than there would have been a few hundred years ago as less and less people believe in the almighty teapot.
  21. To be honest bud, it was a really crap point and I couldn't see it getting better and had given up hoping it would. All turn around now though despite my best efforts to bugger it all up. Sometimes thing do happen when you least expect it. As cleche as it sounds it's true.
  22. I had been split up for my kids mum for a little over a year and I was feeling pretty sorry for myself. Girls out were younger as I was getting older and I was a weekend dad. Ended up staying in allot talking crap to random people on the net. A friend of mine split from her husband as he was a nob and she had to move out with her 3 kids. I crazily said they could all stay here as the house is empty most of the time. She was her a month and she went out one night with her mate. I heard her coming down the front path and could tell she wasnt alone. I was at my comp desk being a boring nerd and they came in. Her mate was gorgeous (unlike her) and came in to my crap pit of a house at the time and sat down. I told the people i was chatting to on the net and put the cam on cause they didnt believe a gorgeous girl had just walked into my living room. I chatted to them for a bit and made a bit of a dik out of myself but had a laugh. She left and a few weeks later my lodgers youngest had his 1st bday. This girl brought her son along to the party as he had turned 1 just 1 month before. While she was here I took my chance and I kissed her. Been together ever since and been together 6 years and married for 3 of them. So I met my now wife in my own front room.
  23. I think he is saying that should a true catholic break the rules that us mear mortals have to abide by then normal rules would apply but the true catholic would not think that the law is how he or she would ultimately be judged. Being judged in this mortal life is nothing and only the all mighty teapot in the sky can truely judge them when there time on this earth is over. At which point they have a chance to confess all there sins and ask for forgivness so when they are gone then the teapot wont judge them and let them join as cups and saucers in the sky. What happens to us while we are alive is nothing compared to what the almighty teapot can do to us when we are gone.
  24. Would we spunk £12 Million of tax payers money while cutting school funding, NHS and national security while increasing taxes to sort out the national debt on a visit from the Dalai Lama?
