They are currently not paying TBH at all and are probably hoping things stay that way when the tribunal takes place. But to be fair to the latest owners, it wasn't of their doing that TBH hasn't been paid but might not be too pleased with those previously in charge if the tribunal goes in favour of TBH at the end of next month. I'm surprised any player would be willing to sign on the dotted line when they see a fellow player having to take the club to tribunal just to get wages owed though. That would strike me as a club to stay clear of if I wanted club to help pay my retirement for a couple of years.

During le tiss short time on twitter I asked the great man when we would be involved in another masters and he said it's not our decision. I asked if it's the clubs and he replied that it's the organisers. Didn't get any more info so not sure what needs to be done to get back in but it doesn't seem very likely.

All the chat coming out from them is going to be as positive as they can make it so its hard to know how much of it is true. What we do know is that TBH is taking the club for unpaid wages and he has been speaking to the PFA regarding it. I dont think they would back him if he didnt have a case so I cant understand how Lumpit thinks they have a case against. TBH returned from Loan and the club refused to play him. Its a shame the hearing is not till the end of next month though as the bit in between does give them time to at least try and get some players in before the FL impose another pointless embargo. Still, storries like this keep coming as the comedy of pompey rolls on. lol

Why do dogs have black lips?

I forgot O'Neil is out of work at the mo. I know he is prone to a few mad decisions but surly he wouldn't make that big of a mistake would he?

Just had a quick look for the court case and couldn't see it again. Is it over yet?

It's tricky but when Forrest have taken The England flop it suggests the barrel of available managers is pretty empty. So they would have to tempt someone away from a current job IMO which has got to be difficult when so many questions remain Un-answered. That said, it seems like it's only us lot that see so many problems so I'm sure they will find an idiot in need of a village somewhere.

SkySportsNews: Sky Sources: Brimingham seeking talks with Portsmouth manager Steve Cotterill - more on SSN Are they mental? His stint down there has left him more deluded than ever and his Quality over Quantity approach outbidding the championships top clubs for players was marked as a success when it clearly wasnt. But on the other hand LOL for Pompey as with 8 players and no manager (if he chooses to go) their season is looking good.

Sounds like papers are trying to cover all the bases again just in case 1 of them may be right. I thought i saw someone say that NC is supposed to be on holiday and Ox-C is supposed to be on holiday? NC said last window Ox-C is not for sale yet there was a 40% sell on fee that was the sticking point, and while he hasn't said anything about it this window there is also nothing to actually suggest NC is planning to offload either. If we are going to read facts somewhere then it will be on the OS. The papers play guessing games and dress it up as fact to sell more copies.

The embargo will be as much use as a chocolate tea pot as like before they will be short of the amount of players to field a team and the league will rubber stamp their signings despite the embargo. I think last time they royally took the P and signed 20k per week players while in the embargo. It would be good if any future embargo comes with caveats that only allow to draft in players from lower leagues or on restricted wages or something. Putting an embargo in place that let's a team outbid championship winners just doesn't seem worth it at all.
-
Actually if his hearing is not until next month there will be no transfer embargo until then. But they got round the embargo last time by not having a complete squad so another embargo will again be completely pointless and will mean that they have yet again gone unpunished for something that all other clubs would have taken on the chin.

Lol. Who said this thread should be closed? Maybe it should be re-named to Pompey Saga instead? Or Skatenation Street? Daily episodes to entertain us and rarely let down. Haha

Maybe they could only afford 1 ticket so sent Lumpit as he would look more (eh hem) respectable in front of proper businessmen?

Is it mandatory for a representative to be there? Could be that they were not there but as they are a sh it club there was no need for them to be there so didn't get the memo?

I think in the past Lowe in particular managed to get good deals but they were often based on add ons because each club gave and took a little. We were never in a position where we could hold onto our prized assets so if they were going to go then we at least tried to get the best deal for them. Now however we are in a completly different situation. Why do we need to sell? If the player wants to develope it will do him no good sulking and refusing to play for the remainder of his contract as by that time he could have missed out on any success at all. we are in a position to be able to afford to pay a player for sitting around doing nothing while his career goes down the pan too so hardball would not be the wisest career move for anyone wishing to leave our club. So with us having no need to sell and the player not holding all the aces it comes down to the buying club. What are they going to offer? We dont want to sell so it has to be an offer that would tempt us, we are not interested in securing payments at later dates or run the risk of not making the full payment because the buying club dont play the lad for the required amount of games and so on. So the only offer that would tempt us would be one that benifits us more than the buying club. If the Arse want him then they are going to have to pay up or leave it IMO. If Manu U want him then its the same for them. I do believe he will more likly be gone this window but I just cant see it being on anything less than our terms.

Ive got 1 cat that will hunt anything that moves. He used to come home with a couple of rats every day but he must of hunted them to extinction as I havent seen any for ages. He has taken out plenty of birds too and doesnt bother with small song birds that are nice in the garden, he goes for pigeons and sea gulls which are as big as him! My other cat is a lazy bastard and just waits for the left overs. Be nice to any local cats and erm.... borrow one for a few days if you dont want the responsability of owning one.

Ah that explains BBC_Matt saying they are still not able to report on it till it's over

I was looking on thelawpages yesterday and couldn't find the case. Maybe it's over or maybe just adjourned till a later date? Might message BBC_Matt to see if he knows anything?

Last transfer window there were reports that he had gone and was at the arse training ground and so on so it wouldn't surprise me if it all turns out to be balls again. That said I didn't expect him to go last window but fully expect him to be gone in this one. Only reason he will still be here at the start if next season will be if interested clubs are not willing to play ball and agree to our terms. It wouldn't surprise me if most of the fee, if not all, will be up front and very little based on appearance's for club and country like Theo's was. If so then it's a fantastic deal for us and the money will come in handy to build for a push to the prem and also help build a future team of our own grown team. Our under 16's now will be the players that are trying to break through into our future prem team. The youth coaches have their work cut out to realise NC's vision of a new Barca in a few years time but some of that money coming in along with any investment already planned should help loads.

I have to give some acknowledgment to that pfc fella as his recent visits have been much more humble and accepting of the recent situatation. Only showing up when all appears to be well squashes any positive feeling though as it comes accross like he is here to gloat. Hasnt seemed to work out too well for him so far though. lol

Lol Pompey will like this. tinyurl.com/6ydljqo Only spending what they earn might be tough seeing as fag packet maths suggests they need to earn around £750,000 per month more just to break even.

Alex oxlade-chamberlain deal tempts manchester united
saintjay77 replied to wireframebox's topic in The Saints
Blimey! I thought they would give obertan more time to be honest! I can't see wez brown dripping to championship either. I would have thought a few prem clubs would be happy to take him. Losing OXO while gaining some cash and a few players of that standard wouldn't be such a bad thing though. -
I see Storrie and Milan are up to witness 6 in their court case. It seems a bit drawn out and in depth seeing as they on several occasions tried to get the charges dropped and the case thrown out. Any ideas on if they will be bricking it yet or not?

So has anyone asked any decent questions on the Facebook page? I like the way they have already added the caveat to not answer the more difficult questions so I doubt the eventual press confirm will answer anything worth while
