I thought the attendances are based on tickets taken at the turnstyles. if you have a season ticket then you still have to give your stub over when you walk in right? either way the fact we are playing better opposition seems to have brought a few more of our fans in the door. even though most going to watch will expect us to get stuffed.

I just dont get why it seems its only the fans that have known our defence has been carp for years. Managment over the past so many seasons seem to think Midfeild need more players and the defence has been peachy. If we do get turned over easily today someone at the club might wonder if the fans have a point.

Where did you get that from? Impressive if its anything like that. there must not be as many boycotting as we thought.

Fair enough that you feel so strongly but if you want to protest either go and do it or stay away. Those that turn up to watch are doing it to support the team and I doubt there will be any swing Lowes until there is any alternative to him.

For all we know Lowe and Wilde might be doing everything they can and everything right in the business sence. unfortunatly for them the football business is based on results so unless we are winning it doesnt really matter what they do at the top. Why do we think/know that Salz would be any better or any worse than what we have currently? the 1 thing missing from anyone at the top is a shed load of dosh to shut the banks up and give us a chance of collecting a team that can challenge for promotion. How is Salz going to change this? Im not trying to say that he will or wont do any better and the anyone but Lowe does sound appealing but we fell for that before when we supported Wilde and Crouch. That hasnt exactly got us into a position others would be envious of has it? If someone has put together a solution or a take over or anything and sent it to Lowe like has been suggested previously, and Lowe gave it a dam good ignoring like has also been suggested, then why doesn't that someone twist Lowes arm if they think there answer is soo good? Just 1 interview in the paper outlining what they propose would have 99% of the saints fans backing them and Wilde would jump ship quicker than a rat up a drain pipe. Bish Bash Bosh and we have changed direction and Lowe would be out of the picture again. Unless there plan is not as sound as some are guessing, maybe the investment is not 100% secure and should it fall away then the new people would be left to the fan base. Maybe there plan wouldnt get rid of lowe perminently so it would be short term as he plots in the background. The way I see it as of right now today is we have as much chance of being taken over by winston churchill as we do by salz and co. so I will continue to support the team and hope that those at the top can/have done enough to bail us out of the pooh and can point us in the right direction. I hope that the boys on the pitch at 3pm can get things right and play without fear and do a number on wolves proving to themselves more than anyone that they are worthy of pulling on a saints shirt and playing for the fans. So I would love something to be done about the sorry mess that is SFC but at the same time I would love SFC to sort its own sh1t out and give us something to be happy about.

tough one to call for a couple of reasons I think. No pressure as the team probably expect to lose so they may relax a bit and if the passing gets going they may have enough about them to nik it. the fans that bother to show up will just be hoping to see the team put some effort in and not roll over so there will be allot less pressure from them also. our home form is rubbish due to team selection and nerves I think. If morgan and Euell are back then the selection is allot better and if we can control the mid field then it might limit wolves chances. So Im actually going for a red and white tinted glasses win or a proud performance draw. COYR's

I have to agree that the only way the whole club can move forward would be if the main 3 could work together. with someone on the outside there will always be unrest as they sit back and snipe. It wouldnt surprise me if we see another change at the top before we see administration or relegation. but if they put together there resources they could do enough to aviod the worst all together. would make any takeover allot easier also if they could all agree to do what is right for the club.

If you could be sure that a loss would be the spark that got rid of lowe for good then I can agree. But equally if you could be sure that a win would be the spark of a march up the league to automatic promotion but keeping Lowe and co would you not also support that? I would rather us do well and put up with Lowe than do bad any day of the week. We cant be sure that going either direction would get shot of Lowe or any of the other muppets we have so not supporting the saints seems a bit extreme. I totally understand your view on not being arsed for so many reasons but I still cant help getting twitchy on a match day even when I know there is likly nothing to be happy about come 5pm.

Wages - appearence fees - bonus' Its been obvious that anyone who was on a wedge was on the list to be shipped out 1st. when the interest wasnt there for them the next best option of selling a player or 2 was on the cards. Scakel almost went but couldnt agree terms, I have no idea on the price that was offered but I doubt it would have been much for us to say yes. A mistake that I think we did make wasa to get in a load of crocked players (probably cause they were dirt cheap) based on believing we would have half a squad. we didnt get rid of nearly enough players and the crocked players are taking forever to recover. the only reason skacel got back in the team was because the idea that "All" high earners must go was re-thought in the light that we didnt have enough quality to cover. I think the decission was made that it would be either John or Skacel that got a game and the budget deemed that both wouldnt play. John has gone and Skacel is a regular. If mills was good enough then Skacel would still not be getting a game.

lol Ive been branded a Luvie today because of my views. Despite the fact that I cant stand the stuffed up t1t lol I agree with the idea of bringing the youth through as I think wise money can be spent getting the best kids here and making them better. giving them the opertunity to play 1st team football and show us something more exciting that the old mercs we usually get. Problem is I think this should have been done if not the 1st season in the CCC then it should have been the season after when we could have shed some dead expensive wood and brought through the choice kids. we would still have had a season or so with the parachute payments to give us the chance to get the mix right and we could have stabalised as a club. Making all this happen now is too late to make it look like it might be a success although after some of the games I have seen I think we have played better football in patches than we did the whole of last season. I hope so bad that we can do enough to keep enough of the promising players with us and do enough to attract some fans back in the door and start moving away from administration. so Ive figured out that if you want good to happen at the club then your a luvie. if you want it to fall flat on its face then your a proper supporter.

I have no idea when they got 500k and cant remember it being talked about when they got booted out last time so I have got no idea where your getting this from. But if they did then i dont see this as being any different from any other football type contract. I mean anyone working in football these days has contracts so tightly knitted up that if they are asked to leave they are due to be paid up some silly ammount or the rest of there contract. Not sure about you but my contract at my work says that if they want me to leave I will get a months notice so will walk away with my months basic salary. If I had an agent that sorted out a full years notice to be paid when I get sacked I would do my best to get the boot.

Dont you get that the football business is a results based business and as such shareholders wont see the benifits unless the results are good? So is that why you dont want us to win and do well? because the likes of Lowe and Co will get more out of it? If thats the case some people really are blinded by there hate for the guy. My best possible scenario would be for saints to play a blinder for the rest of the season and go up in the automatic spots having hardly spent any money and relying on the stars from our acadamy. Some rich sultan from abbyjabby see's us as a fantastic opertunity to take forwards with the worlds best kids so pays Lowe, Wilde, Crouch and who ever else a nice little wedge letting them all walk off with a smile on there face. Would I give a monkeys that they got rich from it? Not a chance cause they would be gone and we would move forward! So excuse me for wanting Saints to win every game they play but I think it will be more enjoyable for us and it will provide more chances for buyers to get interested enough to clear us of the rot that took us down so far.

pretty much rll our chairmen have said that to sell would have to be in the intrest of SFC and so ffar no-one has got past the stage of showing that they have the clout to move forward. personally I think the price has to be right more than the good of the club but either way no-one has put forward a bid so I guess there is no-one that can put there money where there mouth is yet.

Ive tried asking why they havnt made a move yet and get no answer. Some people are more than happy to make wild assumptions and attention seeking posts but the nuts of it they havnt got answers. I dont have anything against anyone on here but find this thread as crazy as some of scoobys threads. i can see some point to the boycotting thing (if it was done properly and not the shame that is supposed to be going on now) and i can almost see the point in wanting the team to lose (only if it really was goingf to make a difference long term) but wanting us to lose probably 1 of the few games we are not expected to win? thats just madness. If we were in the prem this .ear and someone spouted off this type of stuff the team we would be playing would not be wolves, it would be chelsea. now who in there right mind is going to make major changes because we lose against chelsea? Put things into pertspective please people. we are a week team in the CCC and none of us like it. to get stronger we need a takeover or our team to improve drasticly. neither seem very close TBH but we do have a team of kids that want to do nothing but improve as it nothing else it will improve there chances of a decent career. So at least give them some support FFS they are some of the few people at our club that deserve it.
