For 1nce I will agree with you. I dont think there are many that dont agree with you on that TBH. The trouble is he seems to be the only one out of our current lot that will do what is needed to make sure the club avoids administration.

Like Redcrap?

Dont think anyone knows for sure but 17 or 18k has been touted about a few times which I guess would cover the costs and service a regular payment to the overdraft. Only way we are going to get those kind of numbers would be if we are challenging for automatic promotion. Even then the fan base wont be happy with Lowe still playing the blame game on everyone at the club except him.
-
Not surprising with attendances still down on what the club was either hoping for or what they told the bank they would be. I would have thought the Cup game would go some way to helping though.

Plymouth away last season he made a couple of amazing saves which drew the saints fans chants of Englands No. 1. Kelvin smiled and shook his head at us all taking it with the comic relief that was intended. As good as he has been this season I think he knows as much as us in that there are parts of his game he really needs to work on before he is anywhere near dislodging the lanky skate or even robinson.

If we get on TV lets hope its on ITV then. Satanta are claiming the are now the home of the FA cup so I guess they have some games too. Hope they dont get us though cause i aint paying for that sh1te channel. lol

No idea how the money is split. didnt even realise that it is. I have been looking at it like we will get a nice bumper some of cash. mind you if it is split 50/50 surley its only the profit that is split so the extra cost of hosting a full house match will e taken out of the monies 1st? possability of it being on tv too althoug not sure how much the BBC pay clubs for a cup match compared to what sky would pay.

Comes down to how much money the Bank want back and when. No doubt the club have agreed to pay back a certain ammount by a certain date probably based on getting a certain amount of people into SMS each match. If those figures are down then there will be a shortfall on how much we should be paying back so some kind of sales will need to be made or the deal with the bank will need to be renegotiated. The club wont want to sell off the kids but if they cant make the money needed via the high earners then the bank may twist there arm into selling off one of our more desirables. The Cup match will help loads though as it should bring in some much needed extra cash. Pull off a win in that one and the banks might be prepared to wait. OP's bs about the club being run as a business being bad is laughable. Teams like leeds in the past have been run in the way he wants our club run and look what happened to them. We had a shot at spending to get back up and failed so need to cut our cloth accordingly and do things the long way. quick fix of throwing money we dont have at it will just get us into more trouble. I guess the OP will ask the same question in another thread and keep doing so until he finds people that actually think he is talking sence.

Gobern looked good when he came on as a sub but was completly lost when starting. Im all for giving paterson a go but there is a reason behind a load of sub appearences and a few games rest and it can mean that eventually you get a better player. trouble is we need a striker to come into some form and bag a few goals which puts more urgency on trying the likes of paterson.

I was there for that one too and bloody loved every min of it. sure we played Bristol and Newcastle since on terrestial tv too though.

cant help feeling a bit gutted. was hoping more than expecting for 3 points today. when we cant buy a win at home we need to be picking up the 3 points away where we can exploit more space. Not any worse off on the table though so will be pleased with that.

Arnt they already signed up??? Reaves did well and did some skills that havnt been done on skill school before.
-
Wonder if that means its 1 of our 1st team players then?
-
i was gona say it might not be his knee. i bet he is mighty P'ssed off. he just wants to get back into regular games but his body is having trouble gettin up to speed.
-
I was about to disagree with you then but realised I had the wrong end of the stick. If there was a change at the top it might spark a flood of fans for a few weeks but as soon as its realised that whats happening with money/transfers/playing is no different than before the numbers would again go down. I dont even think a 20 million investment would bring that many fans back if it didnt also bring us into the mix of the playoffs. Only thing IMO that will fill SMS will be a serious go at promotion.

Cant see what good it will do paying for Dein to come in. I doubt it would even mean the back of Lowe as he would still have his shares and just wait in the wings till he gets another go at it all again. What could Dein do that is so much better than what is being done anyway? We still dont have the money to drastically change things and we would still have to sell players to keep us in business. Or would the 25 stay away because Lowe is here non-supporters come back and save us with there extra revenue?

i know that feeling well
