LMAO that experiment was done where I work. The book actually got published somehow somewhere.

Maybe but then if anyone else had written it then it would have been allot easier to understand. Seemed like it was a cryptic message that only people in the secret handshake club would understand to me. But with the underlying message of Lowe & Wilde Out!!! I dont think any club can really be sure of who they will have signed or lost come Feb 1st and every manager of every club will have to deal with things as dictated by the club they work for. If Man U one day find that they need some cash they will sell there assets that will get them there required cash. You think Ferguson has enough clout to stop that happening? I know the chances of that are about as small as the chances of me flying to the moon but the point works as much for them as it does for us.

Fair point and if Lowe goes to be replaced by some rich sugar daddy then im sure the stadium will be filled week in week out while we look like we are on the up. Cant see many people coming flooding back if he just swaps places with Crouch or Wilde though. Also his job of undoing the damage by getting us back into the prem is made that much harder with the stadium being half full each week.

with a bit of luck Cork will still be here then but Pearce has lost some form it seems so not sure if we will try and keep him or not?

Starting to get hacked off with how often Morgan is injured. When he has played for the most of it he has been class and just needs a tough tackling player next to him. his range of passing has led to most of our best chances. Think he might have been injured a little too much to attract interest from the top clubs which might be to our benifit as reserve team football at a lower prem club might not be as attractive to garrenteed 1st team in the CCC.

If Lowe just wants the money then it will be money for the Club and nothing else. The dividends that the shareholders rightly or wrongly get only get paid out should there be profits in the business and we are a very long way off of that. Ideal world we would shift the high earners and bring in enough cash to keep the banks happy without dismantling the team we are trying to build but like you say we can only sell players that have offers on there heads so if its just the kids that get offers and the bank demand some of there money back then what can the club do? no point in harping on about how its all Lowes fault when yourself have just explained that much of it is out of the clubs hands. Of the loanies we have had this season I would say 50% have been a success. If we can keep the better ones for a further 6 months and get rid of the others then hopfully they will be replaced. if just 50% of those are a success then we will be in a better position than we are now. we cant afford to loan top players so it will always be a gamble loaning low end reserves or youths from all over the place.

But your constant twists and turns of absolutly anything into whinging and whining about what will happen pin january is very very tiresome. your very good at picking out negatives that havent actually happened yet but not very good at providing some positive possible plans on how to get out of this mess we find ourselves in. the name calling remark was another dose of sarcasm that you failed too see based on your ability to find fault in absolutly everything that Lowe and his buddies do in such a way that it leads me to believe they hurt you in some way as a child and you have been scared for life. Sometimes you know they are actually trying to do what is right and good for the club. we might not all like it but without an alternative I dont and many others dont see what else can be done.

Blimey that was a cushty deal for them if true. pay out after pay out after pay out for a 12 year old kid that they had for 3 years at a monday night football club.

His home town is Bornmouth so I guess we took him from there as a kid although we did loan him to them too.
-
For the record I think we will still have Surman and lallana and hoping Cork and Morgan will be here to. Skacel will be gone IMO but Saga will be back and John will either be sold or re-loaned out. so the team wont be too much different to what it is week in week out with the possability of 1 or 2 loans coming in.
-
So you dont think that by starting another thread with almost a reasonable point in it and at the 1st opertunity turn it into yet another i hate lowe and all his buddies because they called me names when i was a kid thread is just a little tiresome?

A bit like the OP speaking for 15000 fans or the other 15000 fans that i think he was also speaking for or something or other. and one of them for good messure ...........

WTF are you on about? EDIT: Sorry that was aimed at the original post. lol

25% seems a bit steep but then I have no idea what the average sell on fee percentages might be so it might not be so steep? If we need to sell anyone and he is the only player that attracts any interest then 75% of what ever we sell him for will have to do. Dont think we are in a really strong position to argue the toss.

I wasnt tying to say we havnt been getting the results we deserved. But looking at the Shots on target with better application from the strikers (or who ever it has been taking teh shot) we would have had more goals and better chances to put games away and out of reach. Some of the strikes on target have been far from deserving a goal though which is why I dont think we deserve to have more points. If we are to stick with exactly what we have right now then the people shooting need to learn to be a bit more stringent on how they shoot and make shots count. Do that and we will be picking up many more points and go on to make ourself safe. Stay the same and we are gone. So 50/50 is spot on IMO.
-
Im not trying to say everything is rosey but we are still above the drop zone and we have put in some performances that have shown with the right application up front would have us with a few more points than we do now. If we were in this situation having hardly had a shot on goal all season then the management team would be toast and mayday signals would have been sent long ago. There has still been enough about the team to be given more time to see if they can get everything to click together and start getting some deserved results. But if Monday night's performance was any indication of the football to come then it wont be long for a change in direction.

In theory what we are trying to do is pretty good and I would rather see it done this way than any other but in practice we need to be stronger at either end of the pitch. Nothing more to it than that really. Our defence have been put under loads of pressure throughout and KD has kept us in most games so we have had plenty of chances to counter but only a few times have paid off. The style of play we are trying to adopt (if everyone on the pitch can manage it) should give us a strong counter attacking threat, the ability to peg teams into there own half, movment to pull teams all over the place and speed to be able to get back and defend in numbers. When it all clicks into place it Will look fantastic but when it goes wrong it looks a mess. Some of the boys are learning fast and others are not learning at all. But as long as we are in a safe position in the table then I think we should keep going with it and support the team as I do believe the rewards will be great when it pays off. Becomoe in danger of relegation and I would be more inclined to look for some kind of change.
-
I agree about the counter attacking as we showed that perfectly against QPR. A goal made up of quick passing and movment starting from KD and being played right through the pitch. Can our defence stand up to soaking up the oposition enough for us to look for the counter attack though?
-
LOL now the fans are killing the club because they are turning up and supporting the team. You couldnt make it up could you? If we go on a 5 game winning run home and away we might get 2k come back but you wont see an extra 6k unless we are pushing for promotion or its the last game of the season relegation fight like last year. Would still love the club to be bought out and the funds available to put a couple of decent players in that would make this system work allot better though. and that would mean the back of Lowe and a way forward for the club.
-
What is annoying is that we know we are creating the chances and many of us believe we are not far away from giving someone a proper hammering but it all goes to pot when the sky cameras are on us. I dread to think what will happen against Man Ure in a matter of weeks.
-
Not sure that he isnt getting a fair deal as like others have said he was probably one of our best players last night. And despite 1 mistake he is generally supported by the comments of JP and us lot. My point about crosses is more about the type of crosses they get. early crosses from half way up the pitch and they are dire. How many of us thought that BWP had a chance when he got his head to a James cross at the back post? All our strikers are 2nd fav when it comes to high crosses into the box. but driven crosses in behind the defence I think they will all feed off. BWP and McGoldrick do have the speed to beat defenders but dont have much option to use it. our midfielders are quick enough to get into the box and feed off driven crosses or re-bounds but again they dont have the chance to make it count. High balls come in from early crosses and 9 times out of 10 the defence mop them up and break into the spaces left by our kids that broke there neck to get into the box. The idea is there but the delivery is not there often enough. I do still think that the delivery and the finishing will be there enough to see us avoid relegation this season and being honest this is probably the main aim in the club from top to bottom. Doesnt feel to good knowing we are aiming to survive in the CCC when we all want to be and probably think we should be challenging in the Prem.
