" There is a small minority of fans who protest outside the stadium, we don't see that. The fans are 'fine' inside the stadium, the true fans are the ones that are inside the stadium and are loud, which was the case on Saturday ' When asked if the protest is having an effect on the players. I thought most of the protesters were also going in to support the team? So the protest is not having an effect on the team - good from the protesters side and from Wottes side right? The "True Fans" are the ones that dispite not being happy at our overall situation, still choose to come in and give support to the team - And your saying that is bad and he should shut up? He goes on to say how the team need to do better to give the fans that are staying away something worth coming back to watch. yet again it looks like someone is re-arranging the words to fit in with what they think rather than what is actually being said.

At what point did he have a go at fans?
-
Personally I would keep him if he keeps us up. Even on another short term contract just to give an out should he faulter. Would have done the same with Pearon. But we are talking about Lowe and Crouch here. IMO they are as bad as each other but for different reasons and Crouch would want his "English Manager" in place ASAP should he return.

Jesus you 2 really have got your handbags out today. Chill out or get a room FFS -
Leeds got hit with 15 in the next season didnt they?
-
No I think we get a point penalty this year and another one next year. It stops clubs waiting till they are down anyway taking admin and therefor the points deduction is worthless and it also get those that take admin before tetey are down anyway and puts them down.
-
Slightly different in that to get rid of GB (who took us to the playoffs the year before) his contract would have had to have been paid up. national team came and rescued us from him and paid us for the pleasure Wottes contract is till the end of the season so would effectivly be in the same boat as pearson was. If Crouch is back in the sumer do you really think Wotte will be here the next season or will the english manager that is waiting in the wings be here?

My boss is an ex commander of some dingy in the Navy and comes accross much the same as you have discribed. Gets up lots of peoples noses as he comes accross as rude and un-intrested. I actually get on with him and know where I stand 99% of the time and things get sorted without any issues. Believe me if you knew me 20 years ago you would never have pictured me working happily for an authorative ex navy commander! -

I thought the falling out ended the relationship but im sure FF will confirm one way or another at somepoint if he wants too. Agree on the rest though, I was just trying to point out that he is a fountain of knowledge that we can all learn from with many things in saints history but I lose intrest (not fall out with) when he has an outburst about Lowe and Co. I try not to fall out with people as I think most on here are passionate fans that want the club to do well. If I agree with someone I say so just the same as when I dont agree. So far I have found it can be done without winding anyone up. Something a few posters could probably do a little better IMO. -
LOL its funny how some people take a few words from the manager, throw them in the air and when they land in a heap they sort them out to say all sorts of other stuff. So Wotte said he was approached to be the Acadamy Director and mentioned nothing about JP but that obviously means that JP had been offered the managers job and Lowe shouldnt have bothered interviewing Pearson. Well done Sherlock for working that out for the rest of us that cant read Code. Wotte praised the fans that turn up and support the team and thinks the team need to do better to get more fans in SMS but that means he was having a go at all the protesters and thinks the fans need to grow up. Thanks again Sherlock. And from his comments hidden in there somewhere is the message that tells us to start name calling and debate who should be chairman AGAIN. I wonder if there is a buyer out there that not only replaces everyone on the board but also replaces Saints supporters ability to turn everything into an argument with the thought process to want World peace or something positive at least.

I suppose so but as I have said in the past, there is plenty of things in the public domain that have gone wrong and we can attribute blame to rupes for. Someone so far into either camp shouldnt need to exagerate or drop little hints and snippets to try and win extra support. no-one on here really knows me but if I won 100 Mil on the Euro Millions and said I want to buy SFC and take us back to the prem and give Rupes a kick in the nuts while im at it i would get support from 99.9% of saints fans. Not because i might actually be successful, but just because I would give Lowe a kick in the nuts. The fans are desperate for someone to get rid of Lowe completly so I dont see the need to use underhand tactics to get it done. IMO anyone who is trying to get in the hot seat should be able to do it all above board and will be welcomed and trusted allot more than someone who uses the same tactics Lowe is accused of every other week. -

What I can make out about Duncan is that he is a passionate fan that wants what he thinks is best for the club. I have no problem in that and going back a while he came accross much better than he does today. I think he has got frustrated and I also think that the information he has been fed has fueled his frustration. As the ex-club historian I would expect him to come across at least trying to remain impartial but I think he has been played and chosen a side. Now he even exagerates comments he is privvy to and has lost some of the respect he had IMO. I still like to read his posts but I kind of glaze over when reading some of them just as I do when reading extreme pro-Lowe posts. -

I know they were brought in together but I got the impression they were a team to change the direction of the whole club and not just the 1st team. I think some of the language used made everyone think the bond was going to be closer between them and I think Wottes choice of words is what continues to get him into trouble. Doesnt excuse anyone but it kind of makes a little sence. -
Morgan has always looked good in the holding role when he has had somnoe next to him who can tackle. His range of passing is probably better than anyone at our club at the mo. Not sure if he would be as/more effective further up and not sure McGoldrick deserves to get dropped for once. I would be more inclined to swap him with Lallana if at all though. Just think he could stretch the right side while Surman stretches the left and it may be more productive than Lallana has been. Still a tough choice though. Maybe an injury in the week will make the decission easier for Wotte?
-
If I were in charge I think thats the only questions I would have too. Morgan can be class but he is no holding midfielder. Can Morgan do a better job than lallana? I cant say there would be much else I would consider changing thats for sure.

I agree 100% which is why I get my arse in my hand when false claims and hints are jumped on as it does the Anti-Lowe's no favours at all. I think we should all as fans be trying to find a positive outcome which gets rid of Lowe and Co and replaces him perminently with someone who has a plan. Crouch splits the fanbase as much as Lowe and Wilde do so IMO they are not the answer. I like the idea of a CEO in charge with the shareholders taking a back seat but I dont think we can afford one with the right experience in doing this well anywhere else. The only way I think we can effect change for the better would be if we can attract a buyer ourselves. I doubt there are many of us that will have any billionares in our facebook friends lists, at least not any that dont already own a football club but im sure there are things we can do to make us look like a better proposition. The march for example, with enough people behind it speaking a simple message followed by full house support would show perspective buyers that the fan base is big, strong and passionate rather than small, week and not sure what they are protesting about. Im not trying to have a dig at the marchers but the 2 marches have had differing reasons and a small percentage of the fans turn up. A silent march with 1 "For Sale" banner may have attracted a much larger number of fans. Followed by a full house would show any buyers that there is a potential goldmine in SMS. So I agree that the only way this club can move forward will be when we see the back of Lowe. I just dont think there is enough in the alternatives to make that happen and I dont think we are doing enough in the right areas to make better options. -

I agree with you on some things as I to believe his being here does more harm than good. I also believe that should you get on the wrong side of him he will do you no favours which is probably where most of the hostility from his enemys has come from. I dont like his atitude and the way he is never at fault for anything. I dont put relegation at just his feet but I do hold him responsable as he was our chairman at the time. I didnt see anyone that was prepared enough to do a better job and I thought that Lowe could have turned things round in time without breaking the bank. I so much wanted there to be someone better as I didnt think he deserved the chance to right his wrongs. so all of the above IMO is plenty good enough reason to want a change for the better, to want him gone and to take his mob with him. Where I dont agree with you is the idea that there is overwhelming evidence of NDR's and opposition turn arounds and so on. Someone on radio said something and it was misheard by someone on here and by the time the listen again feature was out there was 5 pages of ranting about how bad Lowe is because someone said something or another. Listen again and a written transcript showed that what was thought to have been said never actually got said. So there was no turn around as there was nothing to have a fit about in the 1st place. Its things like that which make the whole anti-lowe campaign look silly and it loses face. The same tried to happen with FF saying MC felt physically threatened. It there are enough pages on it people will believe it true or not. When its actually used in an argument Lowe and his mob are able to laugh in the face of crouch anc co as they are blowing a load of hot air and nothing else. The idea of NDR's is a myth IMO also as the Anti-Lowes started spouting it off as fact just because people didnt have something bad to say about the man. If they said something good it was because arms had been twisted and law suits threatened. I know most will be diplomatic in things they say to the press but how many times do people have to say the problem wasnt with Rupes before it can be thought of as fact? Think we hear something that is against rupes on the radio = Fact and he should bte burned at the stake Ex manager known for speaking his mind puts his name to his own autobiography stating he didnt have a problem with Rupes = Must have signed a NDR or been threatened with legal action should he ever suggest him and Rupes didnt get on. Surly you can see how ridiculas it all sounds? If someone comes up with a serious plan that is strong enough to stand up on its own without the need for smearing and name calling then everyone but Scooby and Rupes will get behind it and Rupes will "for the good of the club" step down and be gone quicker than a really quick thing in a quick tree. -

To be fair those people dont help at all. There are people supposedly rich enough to get rid of Lowe and his mob that sit on the sidelines suggesting that if Lowe wasnt here they would all invest. IMO thats more BS and we have heard it far too often. What are they expecting to happen? Someone else is going to come and buy lowes shares then go and ask for investors? If someone is prepared to buy Lowe out then they will more than likly want to buy out at least some of the others too. If that happens they will be in a position where they will end up making a bid for the club. No-one has done that because no-one wants to put there money where there mouth is. I dont blame them for that because the chances are there money would be wasted as there are not many football clubs that are in profit at the mo. but to sit back and lead people on to think that they would happily invest should Lowe not be with the club is complete and utter garbage. If MC is taken in by that then I feel sorry for her. Crouch has actually gone and tried to get a takeover organised and is always weeks away from completion. Anyone believing some numpty is actually going to invest on the condition that Lowe is gone is deluded. -
I know I have joined this debate a bit late and this has probably been discussed already but didnt the OD under the previous lot grow to 6 Mil for 1 reason or another and since then the current lot have got it down to 4.5 Mil even with added expenses of Loans and Spiderman? My guess is last season there was allot more money going out for 1 reason or another and had Crouch and Co stayed maybe they would have brought the outgoings down like Lowe and Co have. Im not trying to debate who would have done what but black and white answer shows the outgoings went up under the last lot and have gone down under the new lot. To make that much of an impact in such a short time its no wonder the bank still gives its support and also a fair reason as to why Lowe and Co brushed off Crouches idea of all putting in 2 Mil. It may be just cleverly timed release of information that shows figures at there worst and at there most improved. But when the next set of accounts gets released we will at least have a better idea of how much exactly Lowe has wasted on all these loans that did nothing.

Fair point about KD. I only got to read the report on the match and saw that he made several super saves which had he not made we would have probably lost 3-4 Over the season our speciallity has been "hitting the woodwork" or "narrowly missing the goal" or there keeper was "well positioned" im sure someone would have access to the opta stats or something but I was under the impression that our pretty passing football was creating plenty of chances but we were always undon by our inability to score and defend. Its not just McGoldrick as BWP, Lallana, Surman, Mule, Wotton, Patterson and several others have all had there chances in front of goal but have had the same results. im sure in 1 game that we lost we out shot both on and off target 3 times more than the Oppo. Anyone other fans would have shrugged there shoulders and said on any other day they would have had a hat full. We moaned because rupes got rid of pearson and we wernt playing the experienced players. Teams all over the place have off days but if on a given day or season the players cant hit the back of the net then the winning team won because they were the better team on the day. not because someone had an offday.

To be fair if someone accuses you of a rape that never took place you would always be known as the person who got accused of rape. how much fire would go with that smoke? little snippits get said by people who are known to have connctions usually get believed and later become fact. It doesnt make it right and it annoys me becuase Rupes has done plenty wrong that we can all be hacked off about without exagerating and making things up. The lies and exagerations only go for him in the eyes of the people that keep him in his job. BS may get the likes of LM, LC and MC to the top but it wont keep them there. If they were that much of a viable option why did Wilde team up with Lowe to change things? He could have just as easily teamed up with Crouch and they could have fixed what they broke. So IMO several peoples noses have been put out of joint and there is a smear campaign going to try and get rid of Lowe once again. I try to be as un-biased as possible and try to see why people do the things they do and those in the Crouch camp really do need to take a breather and try to come up with a reasoned argument if they want to initiate change. the few in the Lowe camp IMO are just waiting for something better to come along so they can ditch Lowe like a hot pooh. everyone else in between just want things to get better no matter who is in charge. -
Exactly. We are where we are this season because we have been trash, not because our strikers that often out shoot the opposition are crap but because they have had loads of off days.
