After Bialkowsi fine performances of late AP is gonna have a rather nice problem when Kelvin is fit again. Bart man was again very good last night and if anything seems stronger on crosses than Kelvin but his distribution is still quite poor.If he continues to play the way he is will it affect his confidence if Kelvin comes straight back? How would KD feel about not being automatic first choice? Sometimes its good to be a fan not a manager:)

Last year when we were in financial trouble I seem to be able to remember a break even attendance ,at home games,of around 16 or 17 thousand. Now that the mortgage on the stadium is no longer an issue has that number decreased and are we in fact making money on attendances much lower.

I think if we are going to get anything from next Saturday we will have to be firing on all cylinders.I know we won comfortably enough today but 2 or 3 players were not at their best,not through lack of effort but things just were not happening for them.Antonio for example was frankly quite poor today going forward,he worked hard to help lloyd james but he didnt provide the width that we will need to cause Leeds any serious problems. David Connely was not as effective today ,a lot of his touches were a bit heavy and not finding our players.Even Adam Lalana was quiet by his own high standards. I am not in any way slating these players because they did work hard for the team,but they need to have a bigger influence against a very good Leeds side if we are to take any points.

I am officially gutted. put 3-0 Saints at the start of last week and just before I left for the game today I changed it .WHAT A PLONKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://weekendfootball.co.uk/statistics/form.asp This makes quite interesting reading.Over the last 12 games our current form is considerably better than their home form and as I have said on another thread ,theyhave not played many top teams at home lately. Having said that we need to keep our defensive side of the game up to scratch and take opportunities when they arise. I think if DC is fit it will be a big bonus for us although we can score from all over the pitch I feel he is the one to "sniff out" the half chances that could make a difference. I feel we can win but I wouldnt be to disappointed with a draw, 0-0 would be nice if we got to draw.

I dont use super glue just the cheap stuff the kids use ,it peels off quite easy:)

NickG made a very good point earlier in the thread about us being "mortgage free". I wonder how this actually affects our break even figure as far as gate money is concerned.I am sure I saw somewhere that last year we we needed around 15k to to break even,so if there is no mortgage that figure is lower and we are getting better attendances.So are we a profit making club already?

The only I would say about this observation is that the teams they have played are not all that hot .Oldham,Brentford,Stockport ,Stourbridge , Wycombe and Colchester(who in fact they lost to)

As sad as it may seem I have been looking at the fixtures for next week working out where could be come 5.45 next Saturday.But I am afraid I overlooked one thing .Wycombe and Walsall might not let us win,so I checked some current form tables.Wycombe, although below us in the CF table,have won their last 2 games against decent opposition(Brentford and Millwall)and also did not play yesterday so have had a week off. So they are not going to come to us short of confidence. Walsall on the other hand are 2nd in the current form table having won 4 of the last 6 games,mind you they have played some pretty poor teams. But my point is Both these teams are on reasonably good runs and we will have to play to full potential if we want to pick up 6 points.
