Any points that are achieved against premier league opposition are something to be proud of. and points gained against a team sitting in 6th position would be even more impressive. We didnt get any but sometimes it just works that way.

Think I said 2 or 3 of our players were a bit below par ,so they were the better team. If those players had been on song it could well have been a draw.

Not at all mate. I was at the game yesterday and they were to evenly matched sides. The big difference was that they had eleven players who were at 100%,we had 2or 3 who were a bit below par. On another day it would probably have ended a draw. No shame in being on a par with Palace they are a good team. Slightly off topic but I would like to say how good the stewards at Selhurst Park were, very helpful and ready to share a joke with the Saints fans

Chelsea are quality team with quality players and one of the best managers in the world. They are having a bad patch at the moment but it wont last. If they click as a team and not just individually then even a our best we would not win,but if they don't play to their potential we have enough about us to get a result. A little bit of luck wouldn't go amiss either.

I think what we need is players to interchange in the same way that Lambert,Lalana and Jrod did the season before last. I realise that Pelle is not so effective out wide as Lambert bu the would still be pulling defenders out of position and causing confusion. Therefore your players who start should be your most intelligent,whoever that may be,
