Yeah, Ashley Cole and Steven Gerrard are definitely on my list. I happen to think Ashley Cole is overrated as a player anyway (certainly by himself!) Did anyone see that program a while back, where cameramen followed a few prem footballers around? I remember they followed Gerrard and he came across as a complete arrogant c**t. He pretty much believes he won the Champions League on his own!

Ah, I didn't know they could expire in January as well, although I can see on the transfer page that they moved for a fee! Surely if their contract was up then they would leave on a free?

Has anyone else had the problem of players being sold without you knowing? It seems to always happen to me at the end of the transfer window.

Playing on World Class at the moment, finished 2nd in league 1 in the first season. Finished in the playoffs and won them to get promoted to the premiership in the 2nd season. Now playing well in the prem about 5th at the moment. Signed Ryan Taylor when in the championship. Loaned Gareth Bale in premiership, signed some eastern european sh*thouse in defense and a striker called Quintero. Don't like the keeper AI in that they seem to come off their line too often in the wrong situations.

Agree with most on here. Bitterly disappointed. Thought the last 10 - 15 mins we were gutless and brought back horrible memories of last season. A few things I noticed during the game: - Rovers players actually ran at our defense, which (especially during the last 10mins) scared our defense and pushed them back. Why oh why do our players not do this? I saw just two of our players attempt this: Harding and Hammond. These players haven't got the pace or the skill like Lallana or Schneiderlin so why aren't these players doing it as well? - First time I've really questionned Pardew's abilities, however I wasn't overly excited by his appointment. Certainly not time to call for his head anyway, but he made some awful tactical decisions IMO. Playing Lallana of Lambert worked brilliantly and is what a lot of us on here have been calling for. So, why (when he reverted back to 442 in the second half) put Waigo up front and Lallana on the wing when this hasn't worked for us previously?! -Mellis was dreadful positionally. Felt sorry for Harding who, many a time, had noone to pass to. At one point Mellis was on the right WITH Lallana! He was on the totally opposite side to wher he should have been! Should play either Mills or preferably Holmes (is he injured?) on the left to create WIDTH. -James actually got to the byline a few times in the 1st half before crossing with fairly good results. This soon ended though as he reverted to crossing from deep in the second half, which rarely works. -Actually saw some through balls from our players! And guess what? We scored from one of them (albeit Lambert with the assist not one of our midfielders). Why do the have to pass sideways or to the feet of the striker all the time? I want to see balls played in front of the strikers to run onto. -Another midfielder problem not solved: Runs into the box. Saw more intent yesterday but still not good enough IMO. If we're home, then we should be taking the game to the opposition and attack. This means getting bodies into the box, not just loitering around outside the penalty area. We seem to pass fairly well untill we get to the striker(s), then they struggle as there's not enough movement around/in front of them. All in all I feel gutted. Mainly because I saw us play some of the best football I've seen us play this season, which does fill me with some hope, but then revert back to the horrific and gutles defending of last season.

That would be my team too. However, that may be more of a home game team rather than away. IMO Lallana is not only wasted on the wing, he's a weak link playing there. I think he gets tired out too quickly running up and down the wing as he tends to fade out in the second half. He'd be much better suited to playing upfront and dropping into space behind Lambert to supply him with through balls and to run at the defense.

Can't argue with that really. Especially agree that Mills should be starting. For a start he actually attempts to get to the byline and cross - something we're missing this season. He can also take a corner, don't understand why Lallana takes them - the contrast between his corners and Mills' was huge. I like Lallana (don't think anyone can doubt his talent) but he certainly isn't a winger. Maybe play him just behind, off Lambert? Hammond was certainly MoTM. Was initially impressed with Schneiderlin for the first time ever. Don't think we have anyone that has his range of passing and COULD be a threat in this league. However, he seems to lack confidence and consistency. For example, he made some really good ranged passes on Saturday, but screwed up the easier shorter ones.
-
Thought he did brilliantly Saturday. Did eveything he needed to do - tackled well, got stuck in, broke up play and played short simple passes to the players with more creativity (i.e. Schneiderlin).

Just how expensive is it nowadays? A group of friends and I are thinking of going next year and even though we can get an all inclusive hoilday there relatively cheap I would like to know how much spending money I should bring.

Heard some similar stories from sites myself. One apprentice apparently used fibreglass insulation! He was taken to hospital shortly after.

I can confirm that Hernani is class and that he is on the new patch. Pretty sure his other nationality is Polish or something similar so you shoudn't have too many problems gettin a WP. Maybe wrong though. After starting my first season very badly and lying in 24th place till mid october, all my new players are finally startin to gel and I'm now making a promotion push. ******* Rupert Lowe stepped in and accepted a 1.5m bid for Surman from Everton! Need a good cheap left winger now. My team: --------Lita----Lewandoski (sp?)----- Holmes-----Borges--------Sanmaetan ----------Schneiderlin--------------- Mills----Hernani----Diawara----Martis ------------Davis------------

I enjoyed all of these (except Killers) although would only say that RATM would earn the title of 'best'. Also saw The Subways at The Brook and were very very good. I was in the toilets being sick for most of their Guildhall set

Brilliant game, hours of game play, good storyline, best game I've played in a while.

Never having played the first one, is the story easy to get into or is it better to have played Fable I first?
