Watched Hot Tub Time Machine on the weekend. Thought it was going to be utter rubbish as the trailors looked poor, but got dragged along by friends to go see it. Pleasantly suprised as it was funny throughout. Read a review somewhere that said it was the 'Superbad' of 2010. I wouldn't go as far to say that, but definitely worth a watch.

I watched this a couples days ago. Have to agree with everything you say here. I got the impression that they used the "overly strong violence" as a message that you shouldn't emulate a superhero. In fact, I think this is what let the film down a little. Ok, put the message across, but it seemed like whenever you thought the main guy was jus getting started something happened to him to bring him back down to earth. All in all it was a lot more serious than i expected.

I actually thought Seabourne had a very good game. Won pretty much everything in the air. Also, I've noticed the more he plays alongside Fonte, the more composed he gets. I remmeber him playing his first few games for us and he just used to hoof it clear. Now he seems to keep it down and to play it out of danger. I don't know how he would cope in the Championship, but I would say he's a good League 1 defender.

I have to agree with this. I tend to think that there probably is alot of under-handed things going on in governments that we don't know about, but I have yet to see any REAL evidence of it. I've watched some of the Zeitgeist series and, if nothing, it's at least interesting. However, it's way too biased. Like you say, these are intelligent people, but they seem to miss out one of the most importants aspects of debate: showing both sides of story.

The Road I absolutely loved the book and the film pretty much stuck to the original story. Although, I seem to remember alot of seemingly endless walking in the book, which for me highlighted the bleakness and desperation of the post apocolyptic world. The film seemed to cut alot of the walking out, skipping to the 'more interesting' parts. However, I wonder how much, if at all, this would have improved the film. 8/10 Invictus Watched this a couple of weeks ago. It follows Nelson Mandela (Morgan Freeman) after his release and first year as President of South Africa and his efforts to unite the nation with the help of the South African rugby team and their captain François Pienaar (Matt Damon). Thoroughly enjoyed it. Did seem to drag in places though. Was a little odd to see Freeman with his very distinctive voice playing someone else with a very distinctive voice, but I think he pulled it off. Good performances all round. 7/10 Also watched the Bounty Hunter last weekend, but the less said about that the better.

Last year I decided to get back into reading after a fairly hefty time away from it. But it's a bit overwhelming getting back into it with the thousands upon thousands of different authors, genres, etc. I know this is slightly off-topic but, can any of you recommend any 'must-reads'? So far over the last 8 months or so I've a wide variety of books so I'm not into any one particular genre. I've read from the more fast paced, exciting books like the Da Vinci Code series to the really well written, more in-depth books of Iris Murdoch. I know it's a bit of a 'big ask', but maybe any books that you've had to tell your friends/family about.

This! I hate that. Who on earth would think that sounds good?

I saw it the same as you and Speculator. It almost reminded me of us against Leeds but in reverse. We had our fair share of problems: looked unmotivated/tired, poor distribution, poor movement, etc. but I don't think you can take anything away from Swindon. They were thoroughly organised, played to feet, and their one touch passing made ours this season look sloppy. One of the better sides I've seen in this league. You could say we were unlucky, hitting the post, clearance of the line etc. but they could have scored before when their striker missed a one on one with Davis.

To the people who are having problems installing the patch: I had the same problem. Realised you have to manually put the ".exe" at the end of the patch name.

I've had loads of problems since using this patch. I now doesn't display the 3D games, I can only view them 2D. It crashes every time I save as well. Could it be that I'm using a custom skin? Think I'll try uninstalling the skin and see how that works out. Anyone else having any problems?

I've done a bit of reading on this from various sources and you guys have pretty much covered everything. Although, I have read that not all "fat" PS3's are affected. Seems to be varied results. Having tried mine yet, have to check when I get home. I have one question though. If it is a PSN problem and not a calendar/clock problem, does that mean we're not entitled to any sort of free 'sorry gift'? I've read discussions where people are demanding things like "x amount of money to spend in PS store" etc, but the terms and conditions apparantly say that because PSN is free, you're not entitled to anything.
-
Marco, do you know any more of this? Apparently it's affecting offline games as well. I'm at work at the moment and haven't been on my PS3 in a while, so don't know if mine has been affected yet.

Are all these scores in normal online or private matches 'cos they're all very impressive. I have never got anywhere near 70's, 80's, 100's etc. But I don't usually play anything other than TDM. Do you guys tend to get higher K/D ratios on other games like HQ etc? I got 52/11 on ground war once, and I get pretty good ratios on TDM too.

No particular order really: Zooey Dechanel Frankie (The Saturdays) Megan Fox (I'm with Stevo on this one. Worth a mention even with her 'toe' thumbs) Morena Baccarin Nadine Velazquez Others worth a mention are the blonde from 8 simple rules (good shout), Jaime Pressly (I know I really shouldn't like her, but I just do) and Mila Kunis.

I'm getting good at this! Five right in a row. I find some of the charges funny i.e. "criminal mischief" lol
