  1. Surrounded by 27,000 haters? Considering Fratton only holds around 20,000 I think you're being unrealistic with numbers there PES.
  2. Here you go: http:// http://www.uksoccershop.com/categories/2_108.html I'm not sure if they can put HMRC on the back, but that should be simple enough
  3. That depends on Gaydamak not having plans with the land he holds under Miland. Would a superstore and housing fetch more than giving the club another £10-15m to secure next season's Sky money? Besides, they would still have a mountain of debt to pay, when would Gaydamak get his money back?
  4. Only £5m of the £7m has been used to pay due installments to other clubs (home and abroad). The remaining £2m will return to the skates if they can provide evidence that the original contracts have been replaced with new ones, noting the new repayment schedules skate officials say they have in place. They need to hurry as I think Watford are due £2m at the end of the month regarding Smith and Williamson.
  5. I guess not a direct quote, otherwise that would make it worst as, everyone knows it should be 'could have'.
  6. Even my blind deaf aunt could beat Storrie at poker!
  7. Unless the judge decides to throw it out of court in the first instance as there is no substance to the claim.
  8. I lent Al Faraj a copy of Rogue Trader I lent Al Faraj a copy of Wall Street
  9. I'm sure those ITK have already placed their bets at better odds. Man City at 5/6 for a top four finish looks good (although I haven't looked at their remaining fixtures).
  10. Or two if we get promoted and they get relegated through staying in a relegation place!!!
  11. Saints were at least touring then, they were in Argentina in 1905.
  12. D) Just trying to muddle along as best they can at the comedy club. They need to raise/find money for January wages, HMRC and possibly Gaydamak in the next month. That could be anything from £6m to £15m from any of the media reports and I'm sure Lens (?) also want some money. Tick Tock...
  13. I think he's a keeper so we don't need him anyway. I would assume with the hierarchy in place at the club this type of player will never get to wear the red and white stripes.
  14. There are two hurdles to overcome, selling the club and then exiting admin. As Bates had the majority of creditors behind him (but less than 75%), he could put in a silly bid (10p in the £ I think it finally was) that would be accepted by the majority. Obtaining an approved CVA requires at least 75% of creditors to agree with it.
  15. That's what Ken Bates did with Leeds, although HMRC were against it hence the additional penalty of not exiting with a fully approved CVA.
  16. It would be a great pleasure to see the likes of Man Utd have money troubles which effect the investment into the playing side so they fall down the league. However, I cannot see that happening soon as I'm sure even if the present owners are finding it hard keeping up with loan repayments there are individuals who would buy the club if current owners need to sell (and still make some kind of profit). Edit: didn't realise their debt was growing so much!!! Soon the debt will be worth more than the club: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=14620
  17. The end game will not be Mecca and Medina, it's world domination. At the moment the battle is concentrated in the 'homelands'. I fear you don't understand what Islam is all about, especially viewed by the extremists.
  18. Extremists of varying kinds do not kill in such numbers as Islamic ones. Do you really not not know what their end game is? It's not noughts and crosses. Oh and sorry to bore you!!!
  19. I think you miss the point I was trying to make, it doesn't matter whether it's London, Islamabad or Tehran, the extremist are willing to kill to support their view of Islam. Besides, there is plenty of persecution of christians and other faiths in Islamic countries but that's another topic.
  20. The willingness to do such an ACT of violence against another human being, whatever the religion the victim is, says more. To counter your coincidence, there are more muslims in countries were the violence is happening.
  21. I'm sure the Islamic militants didn't bother to ask before killing them but that's not the point is it.
  22. Whether anyone agrees with this or not, it's not the troops who decided to go in to this. Islam, a religion of peace plus a few other things... http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/
  23. Just catching up on posts, but standard bank started the ball rolling when wanting their cut in August and the first traunch of Sky money went to them, hence the bargin basement buys at the end of August.
  24. Having studied at the poly as it was then for a year in portsmouth, only the one time did I wear the red and white and never again. Whereas in southampton, I have seen a few skate shirted folk who have not had any bother. I wish you well for 2010 and as a football fan it is sad to see a club run so badly which may mean extinction, but I have found this saga incredibly funny.
  25. 10pm update on guardian: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/dec/31/portsmouth-pfa-players-wages-faraj PFA chief to meet Portsmouth hierachy over non-payment of players' wages • Cusack to meet officials on Monday, players on Tuesday • Finnan says 'no one seems to know what's going on'
