  1. Can't argue there. A very Saucy Minx if ever there was one: and she knows it!!
  2. Giraffes ?
  3. Lionel Messi Samuel Eto John Terry Rio Ferdinand Wayne Rooney All for very silly money, all at the 11th hour on the 1st September.............................. And guess what we will still have posts slagging the decision to buy them. By the way have we signed Skacel yet? :-)
  4. Ah well the next time you see them play they will look bloody fantastic all over again! What a rare treat.
  5. Is that a Palarse fan at the wrong game sitting in the front row, above the d above the water bottles to the left of the Flybe sign?
  6. I think someone in the Work Permit department is a Saints fan, making sure we don't get another pit pony in the Squad. Pahars & Golac got through despite slim odds thankfully, Pertplopkin or whatever his name was a farce, and a shame. Delgado and his personal shopper Chala-la-la-laa had no grounds to be refused; and Ali Dia was as a result of our friend being on holiday at the time and his skate work colleague who was covering his in~tray thought it would be a wheeze to get the approved stamp out
  7. Thats one of the first things that WGS did and continued to do every Friday morning before a home game. I also say get the White Witch back to do her stuff, her last bit of magic must have worn off by now.
  8. Early tests with the Liebherr invisible crane were coming along nicely: making the uprights a tad softer is going to be the next challenge.
  9. Un beaten in 3 home games this season, is an improvement on last season already.
  10. An observation that should be carried into the mithering about the team performance threads yesterday. Disappointing football watching weary fans v Championship winning football watching happy fans. The "terraces" are a reflection of the recent on pitch performances.
  11. C'mon mate, our fans have gone through the longest slow motion car crash in history starting at the beginning of the relegation season, in recent times I think many missing fans have found better more satisfying ways to spent their money, time, and with their families too. So for example at this time of the year; Watch Saints getting frustrated; going home kicking the cat or Cornwall on the beach with the kids.
  12. Just shows what a load of "r"ollocks people write on here about individual players, just seen the Brentford goal on TV, me-laddo for Brentford passed 2 other players before he confronted James before making the cross; where are the knives for them?
  13. Johnny Come Latelys Shandy pants fans who only turn up to see Manure Chelski Ar5e & Liverpool v "their" team
  14. Makes you laugh really in most jobs outside of Football when you are earning the kind of money footie players do the company owns your @r5e, footballers seem to gripe when they are asked for a return on the money they are paid.
  15. Please tell me why? We are in this division as a result of our performance over the course of last season, Brentford are in this division as a result of their performance over the course of last season. Please wake up we are not Champions of Europe.
  16. One of Pardew's qualities is that he takes no carp and is a hard taskmaster, I think his openess in including us in his opinions on the team and players is refreshing. A few knockers bring up the Charlton demise under him but they had years in the regime of Curbishly, and like us after WGS the players let down Luggy and ultimately us fans as a result of achieving their objective. As I have said before if we are still up to our necks in it by Christmas through naff results that's the time to get very vocal against him.
  17. Before the game all I heard about was the car crash at Swindon mid week, we were feeble too by all accounts v Huddersfield. With that in mind and playing a team who are still on a Championship winning crest of a wave I thought there was a a more positive approach to the game from Saints especially for the bulk of the second half. Also considering that we had 3 new players on the pitch 2 of which were brand spanking new we did ok, Hammond looked instantly better than Wotton. A couple of seasons ago Sunderland had not won their first 10 games by the seasons end they were promoted, yes we are -10 points in the hole but just cut them some slack. As for the knob jockeys who booed at both half and full time, please bugger off and support Manchester United or someone else.
  18. Ditto. Last season we were powder puff, we spent the last closed season on the brink of oblivion. We know that what we put out on the pitch last season was deficient our final position showed us that. Brentford by comparision came up as Champions and are on the crest of a wave, we have a sore backside from bumping along the bottom. Just cut the team some slack and show a little patience for those who were actually at the game today you could see that there was a spark of life to our play. Some people need to wake up and smell the coffee: we are not Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid et al, we are Southampton Football Club emerging from a nightmare scenario.
  19. Jeez when are all the chuffin sheep going to bugger off to support someone else, there is nothing wrong with Lloyd James yes he got skinned by an out of character foray forward by his opposite number who had the greater momentum, but where was the marker on the goal scorer Cleveland Whatsit. I am sick and tired when people jump on the player knocking band wagon, especially when that player has the vision and the ability to make a pass that hits the man he is aiming for thus creating a chance.................... As you can tell it gets on my wick when a player who does not deserve the bullsh1t he gets cops it on here!
  20. The truths out, the gate money was being skimmed after all and I thought I was going mad when I got to 38,527 as I counted the seats at SMS during one of our interesting games last season.
  21. This thread should be renamed Wotte Watch or Where's Wotte
  22. Time to do the washing up: Skate Bait on the box.
  23. Very good. :smt082:smt082
  24. That's only because he had to compose a reply to me putting a bag of Wasps in his underpants, that must have taken its toll when he had to get up for his paper round this morning................... The late night not the Wasps.
  25. Why don't you read the damn thing before pontificating about it in an authoritative manner, A lot of subjects are covered including the gritty stuff you demand. Something tells me you did not see Matty do his stuff with your own eyes as you are the only person on here with an axe to grind. You haven't bought the book, you don't want to buy the book, you don't want to read the book so why don't you just sod off onto a thread that you know even less about.
