Tha acadamies are great for the development of players but seem to turn a fair amount into "billiy big boots" I was an apprentice at saints in the 70's who used to have to get the bus in and home and lived with mum and dad and carried on hanging around with my mates. Never had a chance to get above myself, mind you I was crap and got released anyway!!!!!!!!!!!

Last time i went there for hospitality, England lost, I fell down the steps, dislocated my knee, spent five hours on a saturday at casualty and had to get a taxi back to Southampton. I would sell the tickets and go and watch the Saints if i were you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was in the queue behind him and it was quite funny to see. I have to say when you have spent that kind of money the least they could do is validate your ticket to waive the fee. I know they do this for corporate guests they also do it when you go there to take exams that are run by various bodies. Seems to me that fans are the easy target, but I paid my pound and don't really care was just a bit surprised.

Give a £120 to St Marys Church they will give you a parking pass for their car park for the season. They do fantastic work for the homeless with soup kitchens etc. And have been great supporters with Marcus and Ted Bates memorial services. Money well spent!
