JWP could come back as a right wing back to replace Walker Peters when he moves on. Would be ideal for the Championship.

I have a Saints coat, which is very welcome in the inclement weather. I live in Maidenhead so attracted quite a few comments given our league standing. At one stage I thought I ought to stop wearing it but then I realised that having been a Saint since the 1950's and seen many ups and downs I cannot stop being a Saint. Our fortunes will upturn one day and if they don't I'll still be there cheering on my team.

Would that apply if the website was for members only? So welcome as you are, folk who are not members would have to register with the Administrators. They would or could screen out the very young(although that could be a large wedge of contributors). So does it only apply to "open" forums?

I’ve held the position that we should persist with Gavin as he is a young keeper with the potential to be a really good asset. However, when ever he dives he doesn’t seem to get further than if he just fell over. Shot stopping is too weak for him to be in a winning side. He needs to go out on loan for a season or two a la Lis.

Would love to go up automatically but it looks like the playoffs. If so we would be up against any one of Leeds, Ipswich and now possibly Leicester. Not sure which one I’d like to face at Wembley.

If St Marys was ever devastated where would we play our home games. Is there a decent stadium nearby?

I was born and raised in Overton, a village close to Basingstoke and we had loads of Saints fans. My allegiance to Saints comes from visiting my great gran who lived in Shirley.

Three days before this game I had a heart attack although it was yet to be diagnosed but despite a few chest pains on the way to the ground it was one match I wasn’t going to miss. Atmosphere electric. Absolutely loved it.
