Another Premier league club are less than 40 miles away. If he has returned to Saints then I think that's a good decision, good player.
-
Indeed. There is a Saints crest and picture of Will in the butchers on Stoneleigh Broadway.

I'm right I'm right look at me I am MLG and I am always right. What a **** you are.

Whilst I do agree that we will purchase another central defender there can be no doubt that Jordan Turnbull, Bevis Mugabi, Jason McCarthy and particularly Jack Stephens are definitely in Koeman's plans for this season! http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/13407638.Koeman__Southampton_squad_is_big_enough_to_cope_with_Europa_League/

He is the most 'full of ****' poster on Twitter. Why people would carry on following him I will never know!
-
Not for me. I don't think it is the kind of example we should be setting our other young players, in that they can up and leave and if thinks don't work out, then little old Saints will be their fall back option. Let him rot in Arsenals reserves and like Shaw he will be a glaring example to our other academy graduates.

11th.

That's true but for me personally the signs are not good. The CFO leaving, Koemans comments to the media, Les dashing off to Madrid after the reported threat of legal action. Also even bidding half the value of a release clause on another player shows signs of a club desperate to compete but in doing so for me we are looking a tad foolish. I am the last person who wants us to make previous mistakes aka 2005 and even Osvaldo\Gaston cock ups but if you can't afford the going rate for a top class international then don't get involved and end up looking like a fool with your pants down.

I wouldn't call it a meltdown per se but the issue is its absolutely essential to freshen up your squad with 1 or 2 changes per season, but have the kind of numbers we keep experiencing then you are asking for trouble, it will eventually bite you on the arse too! I also think Saints have to be far more on th ball when renewing contracts. The time to get Clyne tied down was last summer once Chambers was off, maybe even before that! Toby was never our player but we should have been more proactive and just got the deal done at the end of this season, we gambled to try and get him on the cheap and lost! We were never going to get a player of his class for 6.8 million!

Spot on and they are the only two I follow. The rest are just bull ****ters retweeting gossip. Crook, Peach, the wannabee Armstrong they just love the sound of their keyboards tapping complete and utter TOSS as their own!
-
No idea why everyone is celebrating, this just looks like it is getting messier and becoming a sorry affair particularly if lawyers get involved. I cannot see this ending quickly and this must be very frustrating for Toby!

So some grammatical mistakes are more important than others...OK then!

Off for 2 weeks to prop up the Greek economy this weekend and I have say I wont miss the lunatic fringe on this forum. Whatever happens we will be OK, we will always lose players and personally it rankles more when they are 'one of your own'. Those mooted to be off are all replaceable and personally I trust Les and the management team to replace those sold on. Change can be healthy and often its good to organically grow. COYR I cannot wait for the European Tour. Adios suckers

Golden thread potential, please keep it coming!

Agreed. To be fair we also need a bigger squad this year. Elia has also shown in some flashes that he has ability. His consistency has been poor but hopefully he just needs a decent pre season behind him and that should help him adjust to the pace of the English game. I like him.
-
Spot on, I think that sums it up nicely!
-
I got rid of a whole box of them going back to the mid 80's before a house move about 3 years ago.
-
Hahaha some of you are priceless.

It sounds to me like the fella on the bar stool got the kicking he was asking for.
-
We have some proper tight ****s on here who all seem to want their cake and eat it. A fiver ffs.

Saints opt not to take up right-to-buy on Eljero Elia
Ewell replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Yep I totally agree with this and personally think he is worth the punt. If we get to the Europa league group stages next season then we will need this kind of depth. -
I think they would have picked the Chelsea game anyway as they always like to show the Champions lift the trophy so this fixture is a double win for them if Sunderland are still involved. As said above their is 0 interest in the Europa league from the majority of people in England let alone SKY.

It is not in our own hands and we are playing a top side on their ground who have already comfortably beaten us at home this season. We are in this position because of some inept performances of late so only have ourselves to blame. It is a long shot but at least we have put in a good performance and sent the fans home happy at our last home game yesterday. Personally I am not going to enjoy finishing 7th and then waiting on Arsenal beating Villa in the FA Cup final. Yes we all know Arsenal should win especially when you consider Villa's performance yesterday. Football just doesn't always work like that though. As those above have said a lot will depend on which City side actually turn up.COYR.
