Showed his class tonight, great work rate, superb delivery from dead balls and also A couple of decent shots from distance that troubled the keeper! This was a coming of age performance and I fully expect him to kick on and replace the ineffectual Classie as a starter. Are there still haters after that performance? Surely not!

Does anyone have any idea what these restricted view seats are actually like? Do you not see a lot of the pitch or are you just missing off a corner or slight end or something?

Air / Ferry / Train Strikes In Italy On The 21st - For All Those Going To Milan
Ewell replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
Got the 0955 Malpensa express, all running as normal and no issues at all. I have also as yet not seen one flight come up as delayed on the departure board, that's not to say there won't be as you hear a tannoy message every half an hour or so mentioning the strike and stating that some flights potentially could be delayed, fingers crossed! -

Leandre Griffit: "Teams like Barcelona were watching Boufal"

This. The media and PR machine are at best desperate and at worst a complete embarrassment. -
At least we know he is a decent judge of a player and character.

What absolute hogwash, they quite clearly are not! I can't even be arsed to justify as this is such an absurd comment it doesn't warrant me wasting my time!

Marcel Van Der Kraan of De Telegraff on SSN about 20 minutes ago and when pushed he said he expected Koeman to head north. Another thing that's interesting to me is that the Daily Echo are so far remaining very quiet on this one, have to wonder why!
-
This. Koeman was waxing lyrical about another fantastic Davis performance in his post match interview. As long as that continues and Steven keeps getting picked then it isn't an issue. The answer to the huge number of our fans that still don't rate him, as I do, just file under dinlow!

Ryan Bertrand closely followed by Shane Long. VVD gets a mention but despite looking very good he has been prone to the occasional error.

Extremely enlightening, so glad I read this post.

I cannot believe you have bit.

He never looked as shaky as Caulker so is definitely an upgrade on him!
-
Both equally as good but it has to be Kelvin as the performance alone just about got us promoted. Without it things could have been so different.
-
He looks well off the pace today and doesn't look any better than Classie to me. I would not want a midfield of Classie and Vilhena or even Read for that matter, particularly in the Premier league! This small midfield would leave us very exposed with very little height and I cannot see Koeman or the club going for that.

Sutton United, Bromley, AFC Wimbledon and Leyton Orient now and again. Also thinking of checking out Clapton FC.

Saints are 'increasingly hopeful' on Victor Wanyana signing a new deal
Ewell replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Interesting comments from Charlie Nicholas who was watching Man U v Saints for Soccer Saturday. He basically said Wanyama was outstanding and the big difference between the two teams. He felt he dominated and controlled the midfield, He then went on to say that he has seen him put in performances like this against several of the bigger teams but rarely against the lower ranked premier league clubs. I am not saying I agree with him as I dont get to every game so would be interested to hear views on this claim, particularly for his performances this season. -
I must have missed that one moment, when was it?

This. If they are not written with good humor and micky taking then I will not be interested. If I want to buy a bland interview with the current star player ill buy the satisfied match program, which I don't! If the editor and contributors are not humorous, funny or follow terrace culture (and I am not talking hooliganism) then its not for me.

To Gordon Watson's old tune. Charlie, Charlie, Charlie scores and we want one more, not one, not two. not three but four, Charlie scores and we want one more!

Not been able to see his tweets for months as he blocked me for calling him out when he was WRONG yet again. The guy is a clueless chump masquerading as a journalist.

A stunning bit of business if true. Also nice that it isn't rushed through at the last minute on February 1st!

I didn't know Malc well but friends did so I met him a few times. He seemed a very nice chap. RIP.
