  1. I have never ever heard of anyone owed money being described as greedy. Shame on you FF for this latest bit of poorly worded spin!
  2. I guess the word if escaped you?
  3. What I find a tad sad is not the ITK posters divulging their snippets but the snipers and forum floggers reveling in there failure to have accurate information. If you know or indeed reckon they are full of **** then why cling onto their every word? Why not understand this is a public forum and realize there are snippets of truth and untruths but very few have the details of what is actually going on. Just relax have a beer and take it with a pinch of salt. After all it is Friday FFS!
  4. They may possibly may have seen what happened at Saints and are doing what we should have done in summer 2007 and freeing up wages instead of gambling with their future!
  5. All I know is havent heard from you in ages. Sort your email out! :smt104
  6. He comes across as a kid who is so chuffed and excited with the best Christmas present ever but just does not know what to say or do with it. God help us if this chap gains control of SFC.
  7. Potentially a brilliant idea if they appointed the right chief executive to independently run the club. What I like about the article is the fact that Winter has thought outside the box and come up with a radical suggestion that no one else has come up with. Now it may be a pipe dream, it may be total mismanagement waiting to happen but it could be the nearest we get to the fans having a say in how our great club is run. The sense of pride it would give the city can also not be underestimated.
  8. Pay peanuts and you get monkeys! If we had not signed any of them and kept Stern John or even possibly Rasiak or Sagga for the whole season then I feel we would not be in league 1 now. Of all the early season young signings hardly any of them have contributed anything and we would have been better served by playing our own players be they fringe or youngsters. Give me Wotton over Schneiderlin every time. It is no good if you have the ability but no heart, drive or passion for the game. These qualities go a long way in league 1 and Wotton has them all! Schneiderlin worst signing since that huge disappointment Skacel. Good riddance to both I hope!
  9. A fitting end to the worst season in Saints history in my lifetime! Good riddance and lets hope we are over the worst of it. I do however feel that things will get worse before they get better, -25 anyone? Next year we may need to have a great season just to stay up!
  10. As much as I feel our club is crying out for some stability it has to be a No. I do feel sorry for the bloke as he has had his hands tied pretty much. Not a lot of managers would be able to do much better with the players he has had to pick from this season.
  11. I remember being stood on the milton and one or two saying that in the late 80's about a certain someone, how they were proved to be wrong! I hasten to add I am not saying McGoldrick is anywhere near MLT's class because quite frankly he isn't but he could develop into a very good player for us. A lot better than many give him credit for. Play him off a decent target man with a turn of pace and the ability to convert chances someone like a league 1 James Beattie or Kenwyne Jones and watch McGoldrick flourish!
  12. When things do not go your way do you pack up and take your ball home leaving your mates bemused at your actions?
  13. You should know better than posting common sense on here! Southampton to have a football club or not to have a football club now that is the question! Do some of you hate Lowe more than you love Southampton? It certainly seems that way!
  14. Sarcasm is not on your radar is it?
  15. I didn't realize the game had been moved to St Mary's!
  16. If you think Mark Fry is going to take notice of a poll on a Saints Forum then you are sadly mistaken! His job is to sell the club whilst getting the best deal possibly for all the creditors. It is his professional duty to do so! As long as a buyer can prove sufficient funds then who they are will be little cause for concern for Fry and his colleagues!
  17. I think blaming Wotte is very harsh, Whilst I would prefer a new man like Ince especially I feel that too many people are giving Wotte a hard time. I do not think he has done too bad all things considered. Had he have been in charge from day 1 then although I feel we would be low in the table I do not think we would have gone down. Wotte gets my thanks for his efforts but the squad he inherited let him down far too often.
  18. Spot on and well said! :smt038 The sooner the club and it's fans stop clutching at straws and look to the future the sooner we can get back wo what really matters and that is Southampton FC having a future!
  19. I have to say I was impressed with him before today but that press conference was superb. Lets hope he can deliver his primary objective and sell the football club, after all that is what he is here to do!
  20. If we do not accept out penalty then it could get a whole lot worse. Some people would do very well to remember that. Without the football league we are an armature team, however some would say that is our standard already! Better to start next season in league 1 with -10 points rather than go out of business or possibly the league find even worse punishments due to our insolvency problems. The sporting sanctions rule along with there insolvency rules does give the league license to make our position even more difficult. Accept it, get over it, embrace and celebrate where we are, win the title! Come on Saints!
  21. Wayne Bridge still cannot offord a £1000 then. Some super fan player he is then!
  22. Darren I have a very positive story and great photograph I may be willing for you to publish. I sent it in to the MLT autobiography team and despite a couple of emails to them they have not had the good grace to reply, even though it is clear the story was pretty personal to me. If you would like to read it then please supply your email address and I will send it to you.
  23. I will be there. I am not going to miss an opportunity to tell the ****s that are currently adorning the red and white stripes what I actually think of them. The only one spared will be KD as the rest have underperformed and deserve a good send off from us fans. Also hopefully that will be the last we see of most of them in a Saints shirts again.
  24. Lee Trundle and give him the number 7 shirt. He is a goal scorer and the nearest thing to MLT in the modern game. He would help keep our profile high with his weekly tricks on Soccer AM. He has also done it in league 1 consistently before. He plays with passion and would be someone for the younger players to look up to. If we got the likes of Trundle and Savage then I could see Saints making a fairly quick return.
  25. Didn't we all say similar when we got relegated from the Premiership?
