So two championship playoff final appearances, the second resulting in promotion to the Premier League followed by 9th place in the Premier League as well as a cup final defeat to Liverpool. Yeah I agree that performance is not good enough and does not inspire me either!
-
When will some of you get it into your thick heads that it is not just about money? If it was Nott’s County would be top of league 2, QPR of the championship and Many City in the Premiership! It is all about the manager and the team he is allowed to build. Having money is an advantage but time and time again it is not the be all and end all. In any case both Marcus and Nicola have both been quoted that they will not throw money at Saints but will run it as a viable business. Why can’t we drop the money thing as IMHO it is totally irrelevant!

Check out post 17. It would seem that people would rather mess about with dodgy p2p in other countries than try and find the official details from the FA site!
-
It says that the game is scheduled for live broadcast but I cannot find details on the FA site of how you can pick this up! It says the Carlisle v Norwich game is on FATV will our game be the same? It really is not 100% clear if it is or how you pick this up! http://www.thefa.com/TheFACup/FACompetitions/TheFACup/Live.aspx In any case I am playing football anyway so does not really affect me. Hopefully someone else will be able to find out so others can benefit anyway.

Get an IPhone. Nothing can touch it!

Bungle, Granty and I were discussing you and if we thought you would make it over. I was a little surprised not to run into you mate. Let us know the next game you can make and we can have a couple for old times sake!

This site is definiteley aimed at people like you http://www.premierretirement.co.uk/ The providers it compares are Just Retirement, Legal & General, Aviva, Canada Life and Standard Life. Good luck!
-
I wor for Just Retirement and I believe we are very competitive in the market. http://www.justretirement.com/ We are also fronting this site which does comparisons for a lot fo the market leaders such as ourseleves L&G etc http://www.premierretirement.co.uk/ This service does not give advise like an IFA would but it is just to help people with smaller pension pots who want to get the best deal possible! As you know I am not a real fan mate. My train does not get in until 5pm so not a chance I am afraid! -
These are brilliant sites for injury advice. http://www.sportsinjuryclinic.net/cybertherapist/back/hamstrings/hamstringstrain.htm http://www.physioroom.com/injuries/hip_and_thigh/hamstring_strain_sum.php My partner is a sports masseusse and sports therapist (Physio for sport) and she swears by them. Once the injury has settled down and been iced for a few days then seek professional advice!

I am going now thanks to a few members of London Saints sorting out train travel and a hotel for me from someone who could not attend. I cannot wait so see you all on Tuesday! -
Well said that man sums it up perfectly!
-
Ahh and here is the other one who was backing him up. You are right that opinions change but come on, you both said 4-4-2 for home games! The players had an off day. Now get over it!
-
A couple of weeks back after Orient away you were lambasting the 4-5-1 so am I right to assume that are converted? You were also saying at home we should go 4-4-2 which if I am not mistaken Pardew did last Sunday. All I can say to you is your opinion changes like the weather and is only ever 'result' driven and completely reactionary. I am quite stunned that you can post opinions that change so easily and are therefore contradictory. I don't think I have ever seen anyone quite like it.

A toast to 'old codger'! Hip hip hooray!, hip hip hooray!

Love to go but the trains are too dear now and dont fancy the drive up on my own. Any offers or suggestions on how to get there? I suppose a hotel would also be needed so it would be an expensive one. -
There are some seriously wrong people on this thread!
-
I think todays game may be harder than people think. They have a new manager and will want to impress. They have also had a good chance to watch us recently and I fear a tight game but us to sneak it 2-1. Lambert and Connelly double!
-
In pre season and even earlier this season many people on here wanted him shipped out as in there words 'he offers nothing for the team' 'only plays in the hole limiting our formation'. It is funny how a few goals and a winning team changes opinions. I remember one poster saying they would take 500k for him. Fickle, are we ****!
-
Fight of the year and has potential to be one of the best ever. Let’s hope it does not disappoint. If it goes into the later rounds then I can see Cotto grinding out a result. He is solid and can take a punch. Never underestimate Manny though and it would not surprise me if he dispatches Cotto similarly to Hatton. Now do I stay up and watch it? Hmmmm

I sold all my shares bar 1 (which I held onto for posterity) when they were over 60p. How smug am I.

If they ever thought Vitali would kick Wlad's arse! As I have said above Haye should take on Wlad and then Vitali once he has got his mandatory against Ruiz out of the way. It could be an exciting couple of years if Haye can break up this Russian dynasty and whatever your views on Haye, surely we all want to see the end of these boring Russian fighters?
-
From my beered up vision I thought the fight was close and the decision could have gone either way. I will stand corrected if I am wrong but that was the way I saw it last night. It is never easy judging it in the hustle and bustle of a pub though. With home advantage I thought Valuev would get the decision. I cannot believe Haye went 12 rounds. Tactically he was spot on and in all his fights I have never seen him box in that way. I am chuffed he won and cannot wait to see him take Wla'd belts. Vitali is the big one though and for me he will be his toughest fight ever. I just hope it is in London so I can be there! :smt062

I am a massive Haye fan but I cannot belive he won that, Fair play though and lets get those Klitchkos in the ring asap.
