  1. I have never heard of him and I have no idea what he is like. Palace's defensive record whilst not amazing is reasonable. I just hope he is no Marco Almeida! Fare play to the chap for dropping down a division though but I guess money talks! I particularly like this quote!
  2. I do not get back from Vegas until Tuesday 10th so I am gutted about this. ****ing Sky!
  3. Uninspiring draw.
  4. OMFG I have heard of unrealistic aspirations but this is ridiculous. If we get 1 trip the Wembley then we have had a great season!
  5. Kelvin to Man U rumours!
  6. As much as I hate those pikey bastards the last thing I want is for them to go out of business. What is a football club without its rivals? We are enriched by there existence and it is good that we have someone to measure ourselves against. We know we will never sink as low as them! Financial melt down, demotion to league 2, a 25 point deduction, losing all their players and having to fund a rebuild through trials and out of contract journeymen will be good enough for me!
  7. Mods please can we lock this thread until Tuesday 16th February at about 10:30pm! Ta
  8. Not to be sniffed at but yet again Saints fans know best.
  9. I really hate threads like this as they always come back to bite you on the arse. Can we just get to the JPT final first and then bloody worry about it!
  10. Yes that is exactly what it is and that I have to say is pathetic. Your only genuine gripe is how long it took you to get out of the car park and there were plenty of warnings about that on the internet. Have a word with yourself for not doing your research before having a go at a good honest club like Colchester.
  11. Whilst disapointing, you have to respect where Colchester are in the league and their good home form. We are far from the finished article but this result is not a Swindon or Huddersfield. My money is on us still making the playoffs and the next 4 league games are crucial!
  12. I have no arguments with what you have posted but doesn't it make you wonder if they get all this wrong about us then just maybe the magazine you have been reading 'cover to cover' isn't worth buying after all? You admit yourself you have more knowledge on this particular subject and maybe fans of other clubs feel the same about articles written about them.
  13. That is just brilliant. Well done David. We really do have our club back!
  14. We nearly always seem to concede so can anyone honestly see that happening? I never bet on Saints, far too unpredictable!
  15. They should have asked me as I would have told them that IMHO it won't make one bit of difference. I bet I am right too other than possibly a small handful of cases!
  16. 7pm kick off is very ****ish. WHy do there matches start so early?
  17. I agree with you entirely but the trouble is most of the people watching it are the same mindless inane morons that also tune into corrie and eastenders on a nightly basis. The decline of our nations viewing habits really does sadden me.

As ecstatic as I am I cannot agree with that. I obviously do not think you are being serious and it is just the emotion of the occasion! As to your statement Lambert gets my vote!
  19. I would check out these links before making any Audio\Visual purchase! http://www.avforums.com http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/ http://www.trustedreviews.com/tvs/ http://www.whathifi.com/
  20. If he paid that for a Maskell shirt then you have to wonder what he would pay for a Nicky Banger or Frankie Bennett match worn!
  21. Curb your enthusiasm.
  22. I cannot start threads on the forum but I thought some of you may be keen to get involved with this. Personally I think it is a brilliant idea. What is Nike Red? Lace Up Saves Lives It’s time to stop wishing for a medical answer to Africa’s medical crisis. Because one already exists. And while it’s only part of a larger solution, it can help millions already dying from AIDS to live dramatically longer and fuller lives. You can contribute to this just by lacing up a pair of shoelaces in your favourite shoes. Which means that just by going about your own life, you can help save someone else’s. Get involved. (NIKE)RED laces How it works 1. You purchase (NIKE)RED laces. 2. Nike contribute 100% of the profits from the sale to the Global Fund and to football-based programs that help fight AIDS in Africa. 3. Funds are received by programs like Grassroots Soccer, which uses football as a framework to teach youths how to avoid contracting HIV/AIDS. 4. Funds are also contributed to The Global Fund to fund HIV/AIDS programs that support the purchase of lifesaving Antiretroviral (ARV) medication, training of medical staff, HIV testing and treatment to help prevent the transmission of the virus from pregnant mothers to their babies. 5. Life-saving knowledge is received by the next generation in Africa. http://www.nike.com/nikefootball/red/home?locale=en_US
  23. I guess everyone is coming to see the 'superstars' of Exeter City. There are a multitude of reasons why some fans stopped coming and for posters on here to simplify it is just plain stupidity. FWIW I will not be at the Exeter match!
  24. 1) The XX - XX 2) The Horrors - Primary Colours 3) Yeah Yeah Yeah's - It's Blitz 4) The Maccabees- Wall of Arms 5) Editors - In This Light and On This Evening It has been a pretty good year and there has been loads of good stuff about this year.
