It is going to be bloody hard but I still think we can do it, but I do agree that it is a long shot. We have to pick up 4-5 wins on the bounce to have a chance!

    Trouble?

BBC are also reporting it but does not look like much happened other than a few objects being lobbed. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/hampshire/8514252.stm
  3. Sven, ****e manager and ****e DOF. We really do not need a money draining idiot like this. In any case we want to keep the likes of Fiona Philips and the ladies of Southampton safe!
  4. Glad we won. Concerned about the lack of attacking options on the bench. This makes me feel this non league Crawley striker would be a good signing. Waigo scores again which is good to see. You have to wonder how many goals he would have if he started more matches! After saying all that what pleases me most is another clean sheet in the league! Long may that continue! COYR
  5. For me he is one of the greatest keepers to play for us and he made a massive impact. I could never boo him for that reason alone! I just hope he performs as well as he did in the last south coast derby he played in!
  6. I don't think moving the away fans is necessarily a bad idea but those that want to eyeball and exchange posturing and banter with the away fans will move. They may then decide to go in the Chapel and is this stand will be a non season ticket holding stand then the club could potentially lose a fair amount of revenue. I would also say it is a non starter until the police have had their say. The costs of policing St Mary's could also dramatically rise with this move of away fans so the club may also curtail the plans once the police have given their views unless they are on board and in agreement already.
  7. No I play football Saturday afternoons. Anyone who falls into the valentines day rip off trap is a mug of the highest order!
  8. Ahhh ****** I wanted the Sunday!
  9. Just call me mystic Ewell. I am delighted that yet again I was right!
  10. I really have a good feeling that we are going to draw Pompey at home. I cannot wait!
  11. Are you joking? I think most people have always known he is just that, and a lot more besides! A horrid human being!
  12. I would rather have Matt Paterson back!
  13. Welcome aboard Lee I really hope you do well. My one concern is Lambert and Barnard up front seems a little short on pace.
  14. I agree we should have just loaned him out this season and possibly next. I really think this one will come back to bite us on the arse!
  15. Please educate the ignorant. What type of player is he? What are his core attributes? Big, small pacey, skilful, good finisher? Who is he similar too? Any info appreciated!
  16. As usual I am unable to make it!
  17. I thought there were some brilliant performances tonight especially from some guys who have not played many games lately! Step forward Mr Wotton, Thomas and Antonio. I thought all 3 were outstanding tonight and a massive reason why we won the game. I am sure the same old face will criticise the likes of Wotton and Thomas but without their strength the scoreline may have been very different. Also Fonte lead very well and from my first impression we have signed a good player there.
  18. If you have Sky then you can should be able to pick up any BBC region! http://www.stevelarkins.freeuk.com/skytv_bbc_regions.htm
  19. We had a far better striker than Saga sat on the bench! In any case I thought Saga had actually left already?
  20. I wonder what Jimmy Case is up to...
  21. Take it one game at a time and if we are in with a shout with a month left to go then I think that is a bonus. We are not going to get anywhere unless we learn to close out games and keep clean sheets though. To play poorly and win is the sign of a good team. We do not have that quality yet!
  22. They are teachers FFS. If they are a qualified teacher then they must have been CRB checked! Surely they have ID or paperwork to say so and if not why not? As Dellays says PC gone bloody mad!
  23. I have been told that many years ago in such adverse weather conditions those teachers would just head to a local school and see how they could do to help. In the majority of cases there were enough teachers able to get in to work to look after the kids and keep them occupied even if it meant they all mucked in and spent all day in their main hall. It is funny how we have lost this common sense approach! A mate works for a bank and could not make it in to work. He was told to report to the branch 5 minutes walk away. It is funny how the banks get slated for many things but our schools and other businesses could learn a lot from adopting this 'almost lost' common sense approach!
  24. I find the Japanese practice of shark finning more barbaric. To take a live creature and remove its fins whilst still alive and throw it back in to die a very slow and painful death is shameful. I would not have much of an issue if the Japanese used the whole product but it is the way it is done I have a problem with. They allegedly kill around millions of sharks each year (38 million according to National Geographic in 2006). http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2006/10/061012-shark-fin.html http://www.stopsharkfinning.net/
  25. As far as I am aware he was the last Portuguese player we had (I could be wrong on this) and they both play in the same position! It was said tongue n cheek and I am sure most will see that. I think living in Scandinavia is having an effect on your sense of humour especially if you are going to bite at that comment!
