  1. Yeah your right it is true I always buy my concert and theartre tickets direct from the artists and theartre's!
  2. It is a massive difference though and that being when buying concert and Theatre tickets you are usually using an external agent such as 'Ticketmaster' or 'see' who distribute tickets on behalf of the performers and artists. Southampton FC tickets are sold by Southampton FC and as such no booking fee should be in place. As said above it is like selling tickets is an inconvenience to them. I can understand a small fee on the phones because of the external agents but online is a complete joke. By using this system we are making their life and costs a lot easier so it does not stack up!
  3. The question is does the match ticket advanced purchase tariff include the fee already? The reason I ask is it quite clearly states in the article that there is a £2 surcharge on tickets purchased on the day and the match day purchases tariff is £2 more than the advanced purchases tariff. I hope that makes sense. If the fee is included already then that would suggest the fee is per ticket and that we have had a price reduction (not including fees) on last year. What I do not get is why do one tariff with the fee and one without unless I have got it all completely wrong!
  4. So you missed one then!

Lee Carsley = http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/8192580.Pardew_looking_for_midfield_general/ Sometimes 2+2=5 does go!
  6. Expect plenty of matches against Glenn Hoddles academy side!

    Bees

Spot on. Bees should not be killed. Any person thinking of harming them is a thicko of the highest order. Without Bees we are all pretty ****ed!
  8. Wow I am shocked at one or two and not surprised by many. The club have been pretty ruthless and in a way I am pleased as I think we have been a soft touch in the past when renewing contracts. As said above special thanks to Chris Perry who out of all the players on that list is the one who I think has given the most to the club. I hope he finds a club and prolongs his career. p.s. It also shows what AP thinks of the players our academy produced and we so heavily relied upon last year. ld rosey cheeks did not have a scooby.
  9. A resounding YES! For all their millions sacking managers hasn't got QPR into the play offs let alone the Premiership. Continually sacking and changing your manager does not work, we have seen that in the past under Lowe. Let Pardew finish building his team and finish the job he has started. We have made great progress since our poor start. Who would have said we would end the season as we have after those first 10 matches. Next year we will win this league if we keep faith in Pardew!
  10. Are you for real? You are certainly the only person I have heard who has implied Idiakez was decent for us. One of the worst players we have had since relegation in 2003. Totally pedestrian and people slag off Wotten!
  11. So why mention it? Brilliant player, brilliant season, still loads of potential. He and Rickie will fire us through the divisions, enough said! COYR
  12. I know what I want to listen to. The National - High Violet The release of this album on May 10th and the Royal Albert hall gig tomorrow night cannot come soon enough!
  13. If you look at our home\away form we are consistent with those in play off positions. This you would expect as we would be in the play offs if not for our point deductions. If you want to get into the top two then the key will be picking up more points on the road. The places you are most likely to do this are the teams near the bottom. As you say the amount of wins we have got here needs improving and for me is a key point as to why we have needed up where we are!
  14. Martin was brilliant today and on this evidence and Fonte's performance you would have to wonder who was the senior and experienced player. I also like the way Martin was communicating with Ostemboor and one or two others. He was bossing the defence like an old pro. Great stuff young man! We now have decent cover for Jaidi and Fonte with Martin and Seaborne so I would say we can let Perry and Thomas leave. There is also Lancashire who by all accounts has had a good season at Grimsby. He may not be good enough but I reckon he will get a chance to impress in pre season! One other mention I will give is to a player who has got stick on here the past few weeks. Ostemboor defended brilliantly on several occasions in the first half. He blocked at least two crosses. He also intercepted a few and got his head on several dangerous balls into the box. On that performance I would offer him a contract but I would still sign someone else as Thomas can leave and James is not good enough.
  15. Sorry chaps but due to work and life commitments I don't have time at the moment.:trans:

    Paul Wotton

Well said that man. Post of the week without a doubt! He does a good job when called upon. He helps tighten up our midfield when we are winning by the odd goal and need to close out a game. He puts his head and foot in when required and he plays his position with discipline i.e. he is told to sit in the 'Machele role' and he does just that breaking up play. His distribution lets him down at times but he is nowhere as bad as many people make him out to be. Every team\squad need this type of player!
  17. Bloody hell that was my first ever Saints match and first ever vist to The Dell. What a game and all goals scored in the first half if I remember rightly!
  18. You complete Bar Steward!
  19. Don't worry all the experts on here know more than The Ref, Our manager and his staff!
  20. If our manager and club staff have no complaints then why should we? Sometimes you need to take off the rose tinted specs! http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/8106229.Pardew_has_no_complaints_over_Schneiderlin_red_card/ http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2027750,00.html
  21. Personally I have not seen Dulldays have a rant and moan whilst getting his frilly knickers in a twist without actually reading the post properly before!
  22. Stevie was my favourite Saints player as a kid. I idolized him and was delighted when he won the PFA young player of the year award in 81-82 season. That goal at Fratton earns him LEGEND status alone but there was so much more to him and his career with Saints than that one special moment. When Big Lawrie announced the signing of Kevin Keegan where were you or what were you doing when you heard the news? (Every Saints fan can remember this). What were your initial thoughts and how did they compare to how things turned out in reality?
  23. I think one of them will bottle it but what really worries me is will we be in a position to take advantage? I honestly cannot see us winning every game. I am almost certain we will draw\lose one the most likely being Gillingham away! I really do hope I am totally wrong!

    4-5-1

We may get docked points for that!
  25. I guess you did not read my comments on the Pardew thread as your still appear to be sarcy gob****e with no class!
