I was delighted when he was appointed and I have seen nothing to doubt my enthusiasm for the job I believe he will do or to warrant a dip in belief that he will not achieve great things here. Personally I have not met a Saints fan who doesn't rate him!

Sunny Side up was by far the most consistent and best clubbing experience I ever had. In fact sometimes we used to not bother going anywhere on a Saturday night and just get mashed up at home before heading for the day to Sunny Side. Mondays were very messy though. My favourite Saturday night was probably Strawberry Sundae under the arches in Vauxhall which was just down the road from the Chunnel Club. This place had the best door staff and unless you were selling copious amounts of narcotics then you were left to get on with whatever you wanted! Fridays were the Gallery night at Turnmills. The Ministry was good on very select occasions. As were the occasional night at The End or Camden Palace. Last good club night I had in London was Fabric (quite a few years back now) and if I was still into it I would probably go there. My best exprience abroad was probably Basement Jaxx DJ'ing The Escape in Amsterdam, total carnage!

A couple of good home wins is great but now we need to start picking up points away from home especially as we have more away games left to play. Getting 3 points is a must on Monday. COYR

Changing a player’s questionable attitude is down to the player alone and not the coaching staff. If the player in question is not willing to listen, adapt and change then there is bugger all the club's staff can do about it! So it is down to Jason Puncheon alone and no one else! Good riddance to a bad egg I say.

I don't think Charlton did a lot wrong to be honest so it is a bit unfair to blame them.

A very good signing and as we know he can play at least one level above where we are now. If 50k then what a steal. I would be interested to know what money he is on though.

This is and has been the key point on why Puncheon was allowed to go. He did not fancy staying and fighting for his place behind a youngster who is already let alone potentially better than him!

If we can become the Ajax of the early 90's then I would be more than happy with that. They developed there own talent and brought them through to the first team at a very young age. They usually only spent a maximum of 3-4 seasons at Ajax before moving on to pastures new for a huge fee. They key thing though was there was always someone new waiting in the wings to come in and replace the departed player. Not sure what has gone wrong with Ajax in the past 10 years or so but they seem to have had a massive decline in developing world class players in this period.

He was a top guy and a credit to the club. He never failed to answer an email or get one of his team to ring me when I had a query. He will be missed but good luck to him in his new venture.

Terrible draw. If you get a Prem team you at least want one who will bring more than 1000 fans to at least make it a decent pay day. Nobody is gonna be inspired by this draw. I bet we only get 16k.

Are you intentionally trying to be dumb? Please look around the Premier League and Championship and there are plenty of examples of players who came through the Saints academy in the last 5 years now playing at a level above us. The sad reflection is for whatever reason we just could not hold onto them. Personally I see it as some just are not happy unless sniping or moaning about something or other!
