We lost 2-0 at Rochdale. I honestly do not think the record is that bad. OK it is not brilliant but when you consider most teams pick up at least 40 points per season you are always going to lose a certain amount of away matches especially the further you travel. That is not even taking into consideration some of the poor pitches and facilities that challenged us in some of those fixtures. The record is only worth looking at in the current season and so far we are unbeaten so maybe we have turned a corner?

A great shame he left when he did. A very good defender and had he stayed he would have been a first team regular. I have always rated him and personally I think he is better than Mills who people see to drool over. If we can get him back his versatility would also be a bonus. I think he is a no brainer signing to be honest. One thing I cannot recall does he have a left foot?

Is there really any need for the childish sarcasm when people want to talk about something that perhaps you do not perceive as important? Whatever the result today I think there can be no doubt that we are conceding too many goals. Despite the good form so far this season I hope Adkins is looking to address this situation as that is now 10 conceded in 8 matches. There will come a time when the strikers will dry up so we need to work on keeping more clean sheets. I guess Seaborne's injury may not have helped but 3 defensive changes today is a sign that there is an issue and Adkins is trying to address it. Let’s just hope he succeeds and quickly.

I think some of us are getting a bit carried away after what can only be judged as a promising start. League titles are not won in August! What will be interesting is how we react after a defeat or two. My initial prediction this season was 8th and competing for the play offs. I do not see why I should change that yet. 10 games in things may be different!
