A reminder in case anyone has SKY or can get access to a family or friends SKY account. I am only posting this here as a lot of people still do not know about it. If you or your family\friend are a SKY sports subscriber you can connect up 2 devices such as PC\laptop\IPAD\Smartphone and use the SKY Go service. I hope someone finds this useful. http://go.sky.com/vod/page/default/home.do

It seems some are more fixated with sending the blue few down rather than concentrating on our own promotion push. I know which camp I am in.

Not the point and really should not matter. The FA or football league should impose a transfer embargo of incoming players for all clubs in admin. Why should they be able to strangthen in there position? It is not right.

They signed George Thorne on loan on Saturday http://www.wba.co.uk/page/News/0,,10366~2615317,00.html which is not right! Keith Hill the Barnsley manager also on Pompey. T"hey've spent money they can't afford. They've recruited players at the beginning of the season knowing full well they were still in debt from the previous time they were still in administration," said the Barnsley boss. "They've recruited players that I could not afford to recruit, and they are paying the type of wages that I could only dream about paying. So how can I have sympathy for any football club who is competitive against me in a league where I have got not the same rich rewards? "They are spending money they haven't got, so why should I have sympathy? [Manager] Michael Appleton, yes, the players, yes, the supporters - but what they are doing, absolutely not whatsoever."

Whatever happened to signing a player and them earning the right to get selected in the team. He did not do that and has been thrown in for starts straight away instead of getting games from the bench as we bed him in. There is no way he should have been selected before Guly and Connolly up front. There is an argument for him being selected before Lee as he has bags of Championship experience but after Lee's goal yesterday he has slipped behind him for now. Sharp will come good, that there is no doubt.

A fantastic result and a real statement of intent. Points in the bag rather than playing catch up thank you very much. I guess there is still a bit of work to do to secure 17th spot, dinlow!
-
Not that I think he would ever come back but 'world class' are you sure? Have a word with yourself you fool.
-
2 points dropped, its as simple as that. We really didn't want it enough, shame really as they were there for the taking.
-
Agreed, although it does help when they sitck a Mic near the away end. I hope everyone got home safely which is much more important than a game of football.

If Phil Dowd thinks the ball was running true and that was a spectacle we all wanted to see then he needs his head testing. Fair play and credit to both teams and both sets of fans that made the effort and I hope everyone gets home safe and sound. The game was summed up by Lamberts free kick for me, totally pointless and why bother, take a shot FFS!

That is a real shame mate. The ticket office has been awful since David Luker left. He would have been all over this post and invited you to contact him and no doubt you would have been sorted out. Lets be honest it is likely we will have 2-3 thousand empty seats for this one anyway.

I read this column most weeks and it is always a good read and he is usually bang on the money.

I would say signing an international striker, a hot prospect winger with fantastic pedigree and the impending transfer of an international central defender from the Premier League. Added to that we now have a player who has been a success in the Premier League last season back in the squad after a year’s absence! If West Ham had done this kind of business most would be moaning why haven't we!

Another song stolen off Man U.

Saints to be part of the Sun's 2 match tickets for 19.50 scheme - yeah right :-(

Cheers, there are still a few London grounds I need to do so will go for Orient v Walsall, Barnet v Hereford and AFC Wimbledon v Plymouth. Now I just need to get everyone saving sun tokens for me. -

Indeed, it is amusing to see that those clamouring the loudest for his return to the team are the ones defending him on this thread now, priceless!
-
I would not be unhappy with either Sordell or Rhodes.
-
I can not believe he likes Marmite on toast with scrambled eggs. I am always telling the other half how wrong it is when she has it and she just heard Adam say it. How can I disagree with him!
-
like keeper Thibaut Courtois before him, he will launch his Stamford Bridge career with a season-long loan at another club. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2084454/Kevin-Bruyne-closes-Chelsea-move.html

Well done to those saying I have written him off when I quite clearly haven't. I am just looking to discuss a player who in truth I have not seen a lot of and I wondered what others saw in him as I have not been that impressed. The comments made by some are why so many of us stay away from these forums now. Crab Lungs you really are a special case and are now on ignore. Thanks to others who have shared their thoughts and enter sensible discussion.
-
The last thing I want to do is write a young player off but I am not convinced by him at all. He seemed to be a left back under Pardew but now seems to be a midfielder in the attacking sense according to Adkins. He looks very small and lightweight and I cannot even say I have noticed he is particularly good on the ball or has vast amounts of energy or bite in midfield. I admit I have only seen him away at Palace in the cup and his brief appearance against Brighton but I wondered what other forum member’s thoughts were. He may need a loan move to league 1 or 2 to get regular games to see if he develops.
-
If you think we will hold onto all out young players when we get to the Premier League then you are suffering from delusion. As soon as one of the big 6 wants one of our stars then they will be off. Our potential is a top 8 club if we invest heavily but moving into the top 4 or even 6 would be very difficult. Just look how hard Spurs have found it despite having an advantage of being in London and investing very heavily.
-
All I am going to say is when did Saints last have so many central midfielders that score so few goals. They are afraid to shoot and this area definitely needs attention!
-
Agreed, its is very annoying as you end up just reading there drivel despite having them on ignore. It almost makes it pointless putting them on ignore.
