League 1 is his level as he is unproven in the Championship so I cannot see many Championship teams being that interested. A good finisher who works hard but does he have anything that special which would make you think he would score regularly at a higher level, not for me.
-
From what I have seen of him I would agree. He is definitely a better prospect than any of the other central midfielders we have other than Davis who I have not seen play for us yet.

If you think Saints have a chance of signing Theo Walcott this season then you are deluded.

Saints announce how loyalty point scheme will work

I am not a season ticket holder but on the face of it that seems quite fair and I cannot see why anyone would have an argument with it. Mark my words there will be teething troubles that’s for sure! -
Zonal marking requires footballers to take responsibility and have a little intelligence. As we all know footballers in general never take responsibility and have limited intelligence making Zonal marking a recipe for disaster. HTH

Yep I totally agree with that. I think the home it is one of the worst we have ever had.

From Legend to Bellend in one foul swoop.

I went on the Saturday and it was an incredible gig. A nice review here. http://louderthanwar.com/stone-roses-heaton-park-saturday-live-review/ The transport back into town was a total joke, but I knew it would be as it was for Oasis a few years back. Some lad gave me and my other friends a lift to town which was well worth it for the drink we gave him.

Personally I think it is a bit crap that a player who contributed absolutely nothing to a promotion campaign is likely to get a significant pay rise. There should surely be clauses to say player X plays a certain amount of games in the promotion winning side to qualify for the rise in wages. This greed is one of the reasons why British football is so out of touch with reality.

A league 1 striker at best, so genuinely stunned Palace are courting him which just shows their ambition for next season.

I really feel for all those who donated money but particularly the guy who organised it with good intentions. The club did over the fans and particularly the contributors of this forum and I think the club should reimberse the money spent. People donated for the flag to be used and not sat in a dusty store cupboard. Whilst I am sure we all respect the families wishes, their father would not have wanted the supporters treated this way, it was not what he stood for.

Summer 2012 HCDAJFU Thread - Premier League Special Edition

I know it is unlikely but I would love to see us got for Clarence Seedorf and use him in the same way that Bolton did Jay Jay Okocha. I know I am dreaming and there is little chance but he is out of contract and wants one last challenge and has said he would love to play in the Premier League. The guy is still a class act. -
It really is not just about the outlay of a transfer fee for a player there is far more to it than that. There are signing on fees, agent’s fees, buy out clauses and many more costs that we are unlikely to hear about. Also added to that there will have been clauses activated on current staffs contracts which give them pay rises, bonuses and additional payments. Of the 90 million windfall as you put it we will probably outlay 10-20 million in actual transfer fees, but you can rest assured the other 70 million odd will be going to someone else in some manner and we will probably just about break even in our first season back. That is Premier league football and why the players and agents wouldn't have it any other way. I just hope we sign the right players, in Nigel and Nicola I trust to do the right thing by the club. This has to be up there with the most stupid posts of 2012, nice work!
-
I would take both. Great prospects.
-
Exactly, we will sign one that is for sure. Despite not thinking he is good enough to stay who is actually going to buy Forecast off us? I bet he stays to see out his contract in the summer of 2013. We also have Chris Johns who has been signed as a Pro so with one new addition that will then have 4 keepers in the squad which is enough to start the season off with.

The list is up. No shocks for me. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2776455,00.html

I am not into the moronic fancy dress outfits at footy either but I have to say seeing all of them dressed like this did make me laugh. My favourite picture.

I will go with Dalek's magical 17th and that will do for me.

We need to sign players with potential to play at a higher level that are hungry or with something to prove. This is the benchmark that Norwich and Swansea have set. I am sure we won’t be please do not follow the QPR model of throwing cash at a load of premier league has beens who are just in it for the cash. My top 2 targets would be Curtis Davies and Matt Philips. -
Definitely an opportunity missed but that’s football.
-
Sorry, but no idea where that is. Why don't you all join London Saints, discounted rail travel to away games and tickets for most matches if you apply early enough. A great bunch of guys too. La BoIS Saint and my good self are both members. http://www.londonsaints.com/

Likewise. I will be on the 0738 out of Ewell West and the 0812 from CJ.

On the odd occasion then fair enough some may have to nip off but on Saturday they will be getting home 2 hours earlier than normal so if anyone leaves early they should be rounded up and shot.
