I really liked him as a player and always thought he showed really good composure and maturity. I have no doubts that he will do very well at Swansea and as a fellow Glyn old boy Jack will always have my support. Good luck Jack.

If there is any truth in this then it suggests to me that he is likely to be on our radar (Black Box) as if Tottenham have targeted him then surely Paul Mitchell has had an awful lot to do with it. His being at the match yesterday is very interesting. If we want him now we will have to over pay, but his goals could be pivotal in getting us into the top 4 so surely that would be well worth the money?

Lambert, by a country mile. If you say anyone else then where have you been the past 5-6 years?

West Ham looking very strong. Some nice finishing and they won't be a push over when we play them at home in a few weeks. Now as Saints fans do we be sensible and go for a City win in the knowledge that this will keep Arsenal at bay and City are still very likely to finish above us, or do we hope for an Arsenal upset which pegs City back so we are only 5 points adrift of them.

There is so much more to his game than just goals. He has been a key reason why we have won the last 3 away matches. He holds the ball up brilliantly, creates space and brings other players into play and takes a huge amount of pressure off our back 4. He is just about first name on the team sheet. I agree he needs some competition which I think Gallagher would be if fit so getting someone in would be a good idea. That won't be easy though as Pelle will undoubtedly be first choice whoever comes in.

This game is bigger than Everton as they were so out of form and we were at home. If we can win at Newcastle today even I may start to believe we can make top 4. I really hope we can take the 3 points but if I am honest I would probably if offered now take a draw. COYR 1-0 win will do please.

This may be controversial but he just didn't look right tonight. I think he looked off the pace and was second best to most balls, other than the time he got through three players and was clearly fouled but the ref played advantage. I have to wonder was he carrying a slight injury or is this simply a case of over use and fatigue. Whatever the circumstances this is without doubt a huge blow.

I agree with this but a loss of confidence and form and things could change very quickly, after all who expected us to lose at Burnley and Sheffield United in the space of a few days? The injury to Toby Alderweireld could also be costly, if long term a loan may be needed. I also feel we need to get another striker to take the burden off Pelle.

It's funny how we cannot find a buyer for the complete disasters that are Osvaldo and Ramírez. I think what this shows is that we overpaid in both wages and fees for these two. Nobody seems to want to stump up anywhere near our outlay which is unsurprising particularly when you consider there on the field lack of success!

Koeman stated this in his press conference on Friday, it's welcome but pretty old news!

There are a lot of lazy people here who could avoid the queue and just walk down Britannia Road and then along Northam Road. Oh or you could walk into town the other way and go across the footbridge south of St Mary's by the industrial estate. 2 options, queue and be patient or walk a bit out of your way you lazy fat bastards!

All I can say is it must have been a heavy NYE.

Ings looks a much more dynamic player to me and seems to have more to his game. Personally I've never been convinced when I have seen Rhodes.

**** me there are some delusions of grandeur on this message board.

Agreed, if your good enough. he certainly seems to have the right character and temperament.

I actually have got a good feeling about today but particularly JWP coming of age and getting on the score sheet and making a telling contribution with his set pieces.

I'd be interested in a single adult ticket where I can meet someone at the ground, please let me know.

er Palace have strong support in Coulsdon, Caterham, Whyteleafe, Warlingham, Purley, Kenley, Banstead which are all about as middle class as you can get.
-
I heard the club announce there were a few tickets left yesterday morning. Does anyone know if you can buy them On the day at Palace?

The one positive we can take from yesterday is it was fantastic to see James Ward-Prowse back in the team. I am sure James and Ronald Koeman were not expecting to get so many minutes under his belt yesterday but with Schneiderlin and Cork both out and struggling JWP's return is a welcome one. In all honesty he did not look like he had even been away, his work rate probing and passing were instrumental in our best moments in the match. I hope he gets more minutes on Tuesday night and he could be really important to us. Welcome back James and ignore the doubters.
