  1. Yeah brilliant. From the sad cunt who spends half his life trying to prove how hard he is my taking the piss out of woke stuff and slagging off an anti-racism campaign.
  2. That’s just complete bollocks.
  3. It is weird how the Yanks seem happy to let the country go back to how it was after so much has been invested in it, but I guess in the current situation it's politically toxic to be throwing money and lives away on such a cause. The very least they should have done is left it in a situation where it can adequately defend itself but it appears this is not the case. Occupying the country is never going to be a long-term solution so I guess this is something that was always going to happen.
  4. Didn't he do OK with Palace last year? Could be a decent stop-gap, the defence needs someone with experience who can step straight in and do a job IMO.
  5. I dunno, makes no sense to me. You said you "got it from his own words"?
  6. Then how is it causing division?
  7. To be fair, anyone who gets hot and bothered by a rainbow shirt has issues.
  8. Would probably take something around £50mill for Saints to consider flogging IMO, can't see Villa or Spurs stumping up enough dough so not worried.
  9. Don't think we should sell for less than £20mill.
  10. What the Saints Foundation that don't do things like this: https://www.premierleague.com/news/1513628
  11. They are raising money for charity, just like the poppy virtual signalling thing.
  12. woke /wəʊk/ verb past of wake1. adjective INFORMAL•US alert to injustice in society, especially racism.
  13. I agree, they should boycott Qatar but that doesn't make the shirt thing a bad idea, it's better than nothing and completely harmless. You bang on about it as if they are being made to warm up in JUST the rainbow shirt.
  14. Because the players warming up in a funny coloured shirt really puts a stop to that.
  15. If you actually read that article, Toney stopped doing it because he thought it was losing its effect and they were like puppets for the people up top whilst no real change is happening. It’s not like he was scared of the Marxists or against BLM or anything. He sounds pretty Woke to me. Maybe they feel that now in the Prem a united approach is best placed to help make change?
  16. Ivan Toney is not going to take the knee this season apparently, it’s up to him what he does. Not sure where that fits in with the ‘obligation’?
  17. Some players obviously really want to do it, the others probably don’t give a shite and just do it anyway out of respect for their teammates, it’s really not a hard concept to grasp, for most of us.
  18. I expect they didn’t give a shite either way and just went with what the majority of their team decided. Fact is many players don’t take the knee and no one cares.
  19. If you write a question that actually makes sense I might answer it.
  20. Exactly, it's just a matter of time before they all follow.
  21. Yeah, doubt it... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-58146039
  22. I expect there are plenty who don't really care about racism and just go along with it because it's just a harmless gesture, most probably don't like the abuse their friends and colleagues get so are happy to join in. Plenty of English players didn't take the knee last year, no-one gave a shite.
  23. Brilliant! So the players are being forced to do it against their will. The same players that pretty much hold all the power and can force through multi-million pound transfers if they fancy a few more quid at another club. Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better when you boo the lads for making harmless anti-racism gesture.
  24. And there’s you, the guy so desperate to prove he isn’t racist, he has to constantly tell us about his black friend. I’m surprised you havn’t told us you own a Snoop Dog album and “like a good curry as much as the next guy”.
