Still looking at VAR cunts
-
Cheating cunts. The whole TV by the pitch is pointless, just gives the ref an opportunity to bottle it.
-
We are where we are but we can still change it if it’s shit. It doesn’t matter which way anyone voted, we are all losers if the county is worse off. It’s still to early too know the full effects but so far it’s looking like it’s turning out pretty much how I thought it would, a lot of time, effort and money spent just to make our lives a little bit shitter.

To be fair, writing anything on a football message board achieves fuck all.
-
It's those bell-ends who delayed the use of masks in the first wave.
-
They are not trying to change laws, just get the government to do something about housing insulation.
-
To raise the profile of the issue I suppose, campaigns of civil disobedience are not a new thing. I guess the suffragette's did some unpopular stuff at the time but women still ended up getting the vote.
-
Surely that is something that would be negotiated? If Brexit has a similar negative effect on EU countries then it is in everyone's interest to find a solution. It all depends on how it effects us compared to them, obviously if they thrive and we are in a world of shit we would have to accept whatever they ask.

Racism isn’t just abuse on Twitter.
-
The only people who can change that is the social media companies, hopefully they will be made more responsible for what appears on their sites, as Rio said, they can take down non copyrighted stuff quickly enough, the technology should be there to stamp out offensive material and ban people.
-
Not unique but I think the tribal nature of football probably does attract the racist types. I’ve been to enough England away games to see what sort of scumbags follow the game. That’s probably why they want to carry on taking the knee, hopefully those types will feel alienated when they see how much support the lads get and stay away.
-
When the first company did it they had an industry expect on the radio saying the rest will follow suit, it's just a matter of time.

The press always exaggerate and over-sensationalise everything, they just want to flog newspapers or get you to read their website, they don’t give a shite about pushing through any policies. Other people exaggerate the problem because they want something done about it and know if they don’t no one will listen and nothing will happen.
-
That's just bollocks.
-
Just like many on your side use "but our country is not as racist as others" as an excuse to ignore the problems we do have.
-
I'm not.

Thing is people will moan whoever you tax. Personally I don't think it goes far enough, I would do the NI thing and probably tax high-earners more (or the already wealth somehow) and bring the cap down, 86K is still a bit of a bombshell for people with average houses.

“Police arrested 11 people for sending racist social media messages after the final, with almost four times more of the criminal comments being posted by people overseas than in the UK. However, Twitter said: "While many have quite rightly highlighted the global nature of the conversation, it is also important to acknowledge the UK was - by far - the largest country of origin for the abusive tweets we removed." Anyway, it doesn’t really matter where the tweets came from if you are on the receiving end.

What, this one? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58159878

The thing is, much the baby boomer generation have smoked, drunk and gambled as much as anyone and are still sat on millions in property.
-
So we can discuss the Brexit make-believe unicorns until the cows come home but are not allowed to discuss the actual effects.
-
It’s just an example of a shit idea, like many on this thread. The problem is when you get marketing people involved who generally are hyper-sensitive about their brand possibly offending anyone. I have worked in the industry for years and see it all the time. At the end of the Day if a rugby team want to change their name it’s up to them, it’s their job to worry about how they are perceived, it’s nothing to really give a shit about. In my opinion it is silly but it has to be a better thing that racial issues are being thought about than just ignored.

What the fans making monkey gestures you mean? 😂😂😂

Love it, Stirling in front of the racist cunts.
