  1. We were only heading one way under Gao so I'm happy at least something is changing.
  2. Didn't all that happen before she was commissioner? I can't remember there being a Baron Hogan-Howe thread, surely there is one though as many on here seem to have a keen interest in London's policing.
  3. A potato would be considered a critical thinker compared to you. Every time they announce a variant of concern you read some sensationalist report in the Daily Mail, piss your pants, then make out it’s some big conspiracy.
  4. Hope for the best, plan for the worst.
  5. There is usually loads I hate but there seem to be very few nowadays. Think it’s because 99% of players seem to be bell-ends, it’s hard to get wound up by anyone in particular. Vardy is obviously a cunt, I also don’t like Harry Kane, he just has an irritating face. Can’t think of anyone else.
  6. Well put. Most of us understand.
  7. That’s exactly the point I made earlier when you quoted the PL rule book at me. If a club needs to make up a few injuries to get a game postponed there is nothing the PL can do about it. They have left it wide open for clubs to cheat and when you are up against clubs owned by murderers then it’s bound to happen.
  8. This, it was reported ages ago that getting Covid and Flu at the same time can be shit, this is nothing new.
  9. Think you are being a bit naive, players are always carrying knocks this time of year and can still play, it wouldn’t be hard for the club doctor to make up enough cases. I think Brentford applied for a postponement saying 9 players were unavailable, then after it was turned down they started the match with only 3 changes from the previous line-up.
  10. The Premier League have made a right mess of this. Basically all a club needs now is a couple of positive covid tests and they can just make up the required injuries to postpone games at their will. When you have clubs owned by people who arrange murders, with so much to gain from postponing this is bound to happen.
  11. Cheating Northern cunts
  12. Brilliant! From the poster who gives me his own cute little pet name.
  13. They, as in just you and your Gammon side-kick.
  14. Maybe Doherty was trying to score with his back and Fraser just happened to be in the way.
  15. Happened at he same time from what I saw, it's the sort of decision that goes in favour of the keeper 99 times out of 100. He's throwing himself into the keeper and turning his back.
  16. Exactly, clearly a foul. Fraser only drops it because some Spurs cunt has thrown himself into his body.
  17. They are trying to encourage people to get boosted so makes sense. What is your point?
  18. 'may inquire to confirm status'. Fuck me, all Eddie Howe has to do is say he can't name 13 players and it's called off - what a joke. Just need a few players to say "gaffer I've picked up a knock" and they get to re-arrange to suit them.
  19. Even more room to manipulate if they include other injuries, they can make up whatever they want. Gary Neville is right when he says it’s dodgy that clubs ask for a postponement, then when it is turned down end up fielding an almost full strength side.
  20. So all they need is a couple of covid cases then just make up a few injuries to get it postponed. Surely it should just be Covid that matters otherwise it is just wide open to be abused.
  21. Do you still want Ralph sacked then?
  22. I don’t think number of beds has ever been a problem, it’s staff, especially ICU.
  23. There are no excuses, we are just not very good it it. It’s fucking embarrassing.
  24. I guess it depends what is classed as significant. If someone is short of breath and they know they have a potentially fatal disease they are probably thinking there is nothing to lose by getting checked out. The way the media hype it up you can guarantee some just turn up with a bit of a cough though.
