    Israel

What do you expect, it’s a football forum. You can’t have a balanced view you have to pick a team. If you point out bad things Israel do by default you are in ‘Team Terrorists’.
  2. Since we’ve had VAR it’s become obvious how many of the official’s decisions have been pure guesswork. It’s near on impossible for a Lino to get many of these tight offside decisions right. You’ve got some bloke jogging down the line desperately trying to keep up with athletes, then he has to watch when a player kicks the ball and try to work out if some others on a different part of the pitch we’re in line at the time or not - it’s ridiculous. It’s the same for the ball crossing the goal line, it’s nearly always just guesswork. I would get VAR involved more, there are still many times in the Prem where the clowns on the pitch just guess, and we all know that guesses tend to favour the big clubs, especially when they are at home.
  3. It’s what happened all the time pre-VAR.

I agree. The problem was that the team that got promoted barely had a Premier League quality player in it. Ideally you want to keep the bones of the side and add a few top players but we needed to basically buy a whole new side to stand a chance of staying up and we just couldn’t afford that. Adam Armstrong was our best player, that says it all.

Definitely get a new manager in the summer, we need a clean break from this miserable crap.
  6. That was just garbage.
  7. If a person's guilt relies on what someone said then it is nowhere near 'no doubt'. The level of doubt in the Southport case is massively different to the Letby case. That's the only type of situation I would ever favour it. You are right though it won't happen.
  8. Isn't the threshold for conviction 'beyond reasonable doubt'? There could easily be a higher level for death penalty cases.
  9. At least now we are seeing the true reason why Israel has turned the whole of Gaza into rubble. It's just mental that we have the 'leader of the free world' openly suggesting ethnic cleansing. You can see why he likes Putin so much.
  10. Was it breaking the rules if it was work? Who really cares. Bozzo wasn’t kicked out for breaking covid rules, it was for telling blatant lies to Parliament.
  11. Can’t see the point in that.

Of course it does. Saying bollocks like ‘he almost messed it up’ doesn’t give him the credit he deserves. Last time we went down this place was full of people saying how hard it is to bounce straight back up, if that’s true then a manager who does it cannot be described as dog shit.

Why, we got promoted last time with a ‘dog shit’ manager. If it’s so easy then any half decent manager will walk it.

Gonna be piss easy getting promoted next year then?

Who got us promoted at the first attempt. Next year is going to be piss easy if even a dog shit manager can get us up straight away.

Sacking Ralph was obviously a massive fuck up.
  17. I know it's entirely plausible, but so is the idea that they are just saying that for political reasons. I'd be tempted to believe the scientists more than the spokesman for an agency working for a government with an anti-China agenda. They are free to disclose their evidence if they have any. "“Now, the most important thing is to make China pay for unleashing a plague on the world,” Cotton said in a statement."
  18. What is their evidence?
  19. Studies of the earliest viral genomes seem to indicate the Wuhan market as the cause, they even pinpoint the actual location within the market. https://www.newscientist.com/article/2448671-evidence-points-to-wuhan-market-as-source-of-covid-19-outbreak/ https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy8095xjg4po We will probably never know for sure but it would be interesting to see the actual evidence for it starting from the lab.

Easier said than done. When a team goes down it’s not as easy as picking and choosing who stays and who goes, finances are tight and if there are players here who are under contract and can do a decent job it probably makes sense to keep them and get the best out of them.
  21. Agree. In cases like this, where the level of depravity is so high and there is no doubt of guilt, it should be an option.
  22. Because of his obsession with violence, the reason they didn’t do anything was because he wasn’t seen as an Islamic extremist. From the BBC: An initial review over the summer found Prevent failed to flag Rudakubana as a serious threat because he did not exhibit a commitment to a single radical ideology, Cooper told the Commons. She said the three referrals took place after he expressed an interest in school shootings, the 2017 London Bridge attack, the IRA, MI5 and the Middle East. "Too much weight was placed on the absence of ideology," Cooper said, in light of the fact Rudakubana was "obsessed with massacre or extreme violence". Cooper said it was "unbearable to think that something more could and should have been done" to stop him, and that "action against him was much too weak".
  23. They said he was born in Wales which is just a fact.
  24. But the definition of terrorism is the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims. I don’t think, from what the plod have said, there was clear political aim to what he did. He looks to me like a sick cunt obsessed with killing/death.
  25. The riots were clearly stoked up by misinformation online, spread by the usual racists - releasing bits of information like the ricin and training manual would have just fuelled the theories even more IMO.
