The Villa game was shocking but I think he's earned the right to show what he can do with this lot of players, up until the World Cup at least. If Ralph made the decision to go into the season with Adams, Armstrong and Mara as our only forwards then he should be sacked though. If he didn't then whoever did made the decision should go.

The Possibility of a Proper Derby Match is on the Horizon

To be fair we haven’t been in serious relegation trouble ever during his time here and we are currently 14th. The inconsistency and shit performances are frustrating but we have been here before and he has turned it around before. Having said that I think he’s on borrowed time, the fact that so many new signings are being ignored means something isn’t right. Can’t see him being sacked with the club in 14th position though. Changing a manager is always a gamble, whoever we bring in won’t change the fact that we probably have the worst set of strikers in the league. -
It would be interesting to know how much say he has in who gets signed, if he hand picked every one then there is no excuse. I get the impression he's not over the moon at being handed a bunch of kids so is playing the old faces to make a point. If I was JWP I wouldn't be happy, at his stage of his career he should be playing in Europe not spoon-feeding a bunch or teenagers.

Fair points, though I though KWP and both centre backs were by far our best players tonight. My point is that no one came off the bench and made us better, we spent a shit load of cash in the summer but only Ketchup and the keeper were deemed good enough to start from the new signings. That is a big problem, especially when they are not considered better that Djenepo, Adams, Armstrong and Mo. If we had signed anyone half decent they would walk into the side ahead of that lot regardless of who’s manager.

To be fair, Edozie, Aribo and Mara all came on and did fuck all.
-
Because we’ve brought a bunch of kids who might be good in a few years time but are, at the moment, too shit to start.
-
Yep. Spent all that cash and most of them are too shit to even make the starting lineup.
-
All that money spent and we start with the same old shit upfront and in midfield.
-
Fucking awful game, two really really shite teams.

I thought cancelling football was nonsense. If there are policing issues fair enough but the idea that you shouldn't be allowed to have fun just because the Queen died is just bollocks.

They need to label them Nazis to make them a legitimate target in the eyes of the Russian people. I don’t think it’s a new thing, I’ve read a few accounts from WW2 where anyone who opposed the Communists were labeled Nazis so they could be done away with, one was even a survivor of Auchwitz. Also I expect for many in Eastern Europe the thought of being taken over by Russia was worse than Germany so it made sense to side with the Nazis even though they were against the ideology.

To be fair, don’t people watching golf just stand around in silence looking miserable anyway?

Bit over the top. How long is anything fun banned for?

R.I.P. I’m not a huge fan of the Royals but you have to respect her for the way she served the country.

I think day 3 into her job and Truss has already fucked herself by dogmatically refusing to go for a windfall tax, just to cosy up to the swivel-eyed in the leadership contest. Saddling future generations with £110 Billion+ extra debt just so we can hand it over to energy companies that are basically war profiteering is mental.

Yep, can’t see Potter lasting more than a few months.

There have been a few howlers but in the main the decisions have been better with VAR than without. I expect one problem is that referees, by their nature, are over-opinionated arseholes who want to stick there nose in when it is not needed and as soon as the ref is called over to the monitor he is under pressure to change his mind.
-
It’s mental that 180,000 people can spend 8 weeks assessing both candidates and come to the conclusion that Liz Truss would be better at running the country than Rishi Sunak. I don’t like either of them but wow! This really is the Tory’s Corbyn moment. I wonder how many of the swivel-eyed loons chose Truss as our PM because the other guy ‘stabbed Boris in the back’?

Good window but still think we needed another striker.

Bottles of piss were standard practice at Donnington back in the early 90s. -
Agree, it is a mental decision. I did think his comments were a bit odd after the game though. Will be interesting to see how Bournemouth react, could go into a right tail-spin.

You actually think it would be a good idea to let Russia take Ukraine and just hope they stop there. Wow.

Weird that because I've just had a quick look on the US version of the Daily Mail and, as usual, there is a whole load of stuff having a go at Biden. There's a load of crap about his son’s laptop, something about Democrats not wanting him to stand for re-election, one on a speech he’s going to make, one on him sending arms to Taiwan, one about him appointing a former CIA chief, one on the student tax, another on the Afghan withdrawal, and one about him wearing a face mask. Looks like the President of the US being an incestuous peado is not a very big story.

So no link then, brilliant! You are like the forum clown.

It’s probably hard to sue when it’s worded “reportedly writes of alleged abuse”. Where is the link to where her daughter actually says she was molested?
