But we all accept we are skint. The main gripe is the way Pearson was sacked and this useless dutch gamble implemented - that is just Lowe's fault. Illingsworth is up Lowe's ass - we all know that. As head of an organisation he should try and get across the fans views not his own distorted agenda. He is abusing his platform IMO.
-
The Saints Trust is pointless, the fact that the situation has arrived at how it is without them uttering a word proves this. They do not represent the fans in any shape or form IMO, in fact, they are actively making it harder for change and for the fans as a whole to get their opinion across.
-
Doesn't make any sense, it will just mean the same fans sat somewhere else. It is just as easy to fight in other stands, it is probably wise to keep the hardcore concentrated in one place. I'm sure Rupes would prefer them there than a few seats away from him in the Itchen Stand.

At the very least it is a complete waste of wages. Gasmi, Forecast, Pulis, Robertson, Peckhart, Wotton - ****ing money all over the place. Not to mention paying the wages of players like Skacel and Euell then freezing them out - more wasted money.
-
The way the shares are devided up means that the only way out is admin IMO. There is no way Lowe/Wilde will hand over their shares to Crouch for a nominal sum (which is all they are worth), and there is no way Crouch will pay Lowe/Wilde any more than a nominal sum (if he wanted to own the club outright). I expect if Crouch owned it outright then he would probably put some of his own cash in but that aint gonna happen unless he picks it up for a quid post admin. If an outside interest wanted to buy the club they would wait til admin, we all saw how the share price rockets as soon as interest is reported. No one is going to pay that amount for SFC. We just have to sit back, wait for admin, and hope somone turns up who wants it.

I bet his wages alone would pay for Pearson. Lowe is the master of false economies.
-
Protests achieve nothing, Lowe probably wont even be there. We have to boycott, money is the only thing he understands.
-
1-1 now, come on Spurs.
-
It's basic common sense that if you are forced to field alot of young inexperienced players you need a manager who knows the Champioship back to front. We have a bunch of kids, and a manager trying to learn their trade AND try to play pretty open football - a perfect recipie for relegation.
-
When is the latest we can file for admin to get our points deducted this season, I think it's either the start or end of March? Has to be an option if we are adrift, the last thing we want is to start next season on -10 in League 1.
-
Nothing can be done, we are ****ed. All we can do is sit back, wait for relegation and administration and hope someone decent buys us after it.

Why would a new manager of any quality want to work with Rupert Lowe?
aintforever replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
You're probably right, no one with any reputation is going to risk it at this disaster of a club. We could still attract someone better than Poortvleit though, there are plenty of out of work managers and jobs in the top two leagues are few and far between. Older managers on the scrap heap or young upcoming talent is the limit to what we can get. More the Adams/Coterill type than Dowie/Boothryoid. -
Dowie or Boothroyd.
-
That's rubbish, if anything the players appeared to try harder once the anti-lowe stuff started.
-
Agreed, should stick to punching stewards.
-
The thing is this guy just talks complete crap, he never makes any sense and it's not because he's Dutch, it's because he is completely out of his depth. I feel sorry for the players, imagine coming in at half time and having some foreign **** talk complete nonsense to you. It's laughable how he still has a job, he's lucky he has a pig head arrogant **** of a chairman who cannot admit he was wrong.
-
To think we took down a picture of a Saints legend and replaced it with one from those northern c**ts.
-
Yeah, I thought we were useless. Apart from a good spell at the start we were 2nd best all game.
-
He's talked ****** from day 1.
-
Why was he asked to leave?
-
You obviously didn't watch the game.
-
Awful performance, Poortaloo doen't have a clue.
-
We have nothing to lose by sacking this Dutch ****.

Crouch didn't do alot wrong last time, he was only in charge for January to the end of the season. He made unpopular money saving descisions in loaning out Rasiak and Skacel, picked what looks like a good choice in manager and backed the manager by bringing in loans like Perry and Wright that saved the club from relegation.
