  1. If he keeps us up he would have performed a minor miracle, so yes.
  2. From the guy who's consistently made excuses for Lowe's Dutch gamble from day 1. It's obvious to anyone with a brain that we don't stand a chance of staying up unless the club are united behind a manager with Championship experience - that can clearly only happen under Crouch. Stop talking ****** and admit it.
  3. I fail to see how Crouch going through the trouble to find a decent manager in his own time is a bad thing. lowe is paid to do the job yet has failed miserably so far this season. This club needs Crouch back.
  4. I think in reality they are probably caretakers but have been given a chance to prove themselves. If Wotte proves to be a success the club have saved some cash. I expect real candidates will be lined up/interviewed and the cull made after a few games and the inevitable bad results. If the club didn't have anyone lined up there would have to be a caretaker anyway.
  5. Experience is vital in a relegation battle. Why have we chosen yet another manager with no experience of the Championship to manage a team that is, apart from a few players, very inexperienced?
  6. Of course it matters, you can have 11 great players - that doesn't mean they make a great team. It's the managers job to get the right blend and the right type of players that work together to make a good TEAM.
  7. It looks like a good manager can get the best out of him, so as we don't have one, in the world of Rupert Lowe the logical thing is to loan him to a club that does.
  8. I think our best chance of survival is to get a good partner for Saganowski, this guy has the attributes.
  9. If we were a club on the brink of administration Sagnaowski would leave and no one brought in.
  10. I would have Killer as manager above Wotte any day.
  11. Can anyone confirm if Hockaday is still around?
  12. I heard that there was an offer on the table a while ago. My guess is that Lowe and Wilde were not impressed by what was offered so decided to try and save the club themselves - that obviously hasn't worked so are now desperate.
  13. The system works better away from home when the wide players are more defensively minded and the opposition throw players forward. At SMS the away team are happy to let us pat it about and we leave ourselves wide open. The atmosphere at SMS does play a part though. These kids are playing in front of fans who have been used to years of Keegan, Channon, Shilton, Shearer, Le Tiss etc. The Northam gives good support but there are alot of moaners and the added pressure does not help at all. Weight of expectation is a big burden for footballers, it's way way worse for young inexperienced players. Even Le Tiss and Shearer were gradually introduced so that the pressure didn't get to them. These kids have been thrown straight in.
  14. It wouldn't surprise me if the threat of administration has forced them to work together. They all have plenty to lose, and between them they have enough cash to keep the banks at bay and give us a decent chance of staying up.
  15. I've always said what a credit to SFC Nathan is, a model pro.
  16. Excellent, the inbreds will hate that!
  17. Would make some sort of sense out of the situation. I can't believe Crouch just went along to enjoy the football. Wilde would have seen the scenes at the Doncaster match - it was obvious change has to be made or it would just get worse and worse.
  18. Good luck Jan, you're a decent guy that was put in an impossible situation. I think Saints fans will always respect your honesty and the fact that you tried to play football the right way, unfortunatley it was in the wrong circumstances.
  19. Strange that we finally win at home then he resigns?
  20. If Wotte is a perminant appointment it is madness. I refuse to believe it.
  21. Yep, I heard it was a Hungarian side.
  22. That's what I meant, the extra money would give us a chance to sort ourselves out but Lowe's Dutch gamble is going to ruin any chance of that. Surely if there is that much more money it would have been worth paying for a decent manager this season - that would have been a sensible gamble.
  23. That's ****ing typical, 3mill extra and we will be on -10 at the bottom of League 1 without a penny to scratch our ass with.
  24. So what happens to the Stadium debt? Is there a chance that some of the debt could be blown off or will the full amount owed have to be paid off? Obviously with a mortgage the house price usually covers what is owed but SMS is not worth near the £25mill or whatever.
  25. I think it's worse than that, you need a CVA otherwise it's -17 on top of the -10.
