Saints 2-0 Man City - The Treble is STILL on!
aintforever replied to Lighthouse's topic in The Saints
Blimey, wasn’t expecting that! Great performance, great result. -
Not sure we have time for a manager on a learning curve. We've all been through relegation battles before, we might only be 3-4 points adrift but every time you lose a winnable game means later in the season you end up having to go to Old Trafford or similar to get a result.
-
It's almost as if the problem was the lack of a goalscorer, not the manager.
-
It’s a bit gutting to not even have a new manager bounce, even shit managers usually have some sort of honeymoon period, we have just got worse.
-
Looks like he's sat in front of a moped to me, there is definitely a drink on the table though.
-
I agree it seems like a waste of money but 800 is very different to 8000. You clearly don't have a clue what you are talking about.
-
Obviously, because I'm the one posting faux outrage over something I don't have a clue about.
-
Only to those who deserve it. 8000
-
Why do you think he's disabled anyway, I can't see a wheelchair in that clip?
-
It's irrelevant wether he was in a wheelchair or not, my point was that he was talking complete shite about 8000 diversity managers. If you're going to get all angry over NHS wasting money you should at least have a vague idea of what is true.
-
You should've been angry mate, 6000 diversity managers is a massive waste of taxpayers money.
-
You are the one getting all angry over some completely made up facts.
-
He's talking complete bollocks wether he is disabled and sober or not. It's you that believed him fuckwit.
-
Are you suggesting northerners in wheelchairs are not allowed to get pissed up and talk bollocks?
-
Na read it. Still funny that you believed some pissed-up northerner was actually quoting facts.
-
Only 7,200 out but well done, good point.
-
Depends how many premier league points you are happy to throw away while you dick around saving money.
-
We may have got lucky but Hughes did a decent job in putting us in a position to take advantage. It’s the sort of appointment we need right now IMO.
-
Puel’s squad was way better that what we have now. No comparison.
-
Like watching Brazil
-
0.000001%, yet you Daily Mail lot continue to piss your pants over it.
-
Looks like just what we need, now just need a striker, defensive midfielder and new manager and we have a chance.
-
Wasn't that because we were a PLC and he needed good PR to stay in a job?
-
He's not exactly going to say his squad is shit going into a new season is he? I think he mentioned the need for a striker before the window closed. Ralph was far from perfect, I wasn't that bothered when he was fired because we were not great, but I still think the main reason we are where we are is because of the lack of goalscorer. Replacing Broja and Long with just Mara is kamikaze stuff, I doubt any manager would have had much of a chance.
-
If Ralph was responsible for player recruitment I would agree with you but I'm not sure he was, he obviously had input but I doubt the final decisions were his - he certainly didn't seem to happy about signing a bunch of kids and no decent striker in the summer. The lack of quality in the squad is down to lack of investment by Gao, Ralph was just handed the turds to polish, and at the moment it looks like he did a pretty good job considering we never got in a relegation battle during his whole time here.
