  1. Sounds like your source has an agenda to me (most people that close to what's going on have their own interests/motives). There is no reason why admin would mean the end of SFC.
  2. StuRomseysaint is 100% right a second march to the ground is completely pointless. If anything it will have the opposite effect, the message it will send to Lowe is: "we are a bunch of mugs and make lots of noise but will keep paying your wages regardless" It wont even get any press coverage because "Saints fans go on a march again" is not even a story that would make the Echo.
  3. People who look and sound that German shouldn't bang on about war all the time IMO.
  4. Maybe if they had been inspired by their 80,000 it would have been 6-0? The atmosphere in a stadium does effect the players, there is obviously not alot of difference a crowd can make but surely we want to give the lads on the pitch every possible advantage regardless of who's running the club? I remember when Sunderland got relegated from the Prem, they called the ground the Stadium of Fright because the atmoshphere was so bad the players were scared to express themselves - do we want that tat SMS? - of course not.
  5. LOL at Jonah arguing about a meeting he wasn't even at! What a plonker.
  6. Above average - you ****
  7. I totally agree, if we go down it is Lowe's fault - it's a simple as that. BUT, creating a sour, nasty atmosphere for our players is not going to help them. Getting behind the team DOES help - players and managers have said that time and time again. I'm up for protesting/rioting whatever, but only if it looks like we are definitely not going to get 3 points.
  8. Protesting is bound to effect the players and is just self-defeating - we all want Lowe out but do we even know if Crouch wants to step in and take over at this stage? Protest if we are being soundly beaten - if we have a chance of getting a result we should just get behind the team, up until then just take your frustration out on PNE.
  9. English managers would cost more than most foreign but the manager's salary is insignificant compared to players wages/fees etc. Hiring a manager because they are cheap will always be a false economy - 1 bad signing and you've more than lost anything you've made form their wages. Every manager is a risk, if we hired Jose Moriniho there would be a risk. Hiring an inexperienced foreign manager just multiplies all those risks - we were not in a position to add more.
  10. The Trust should be the voice but they are in Lowe's pocket. How about we all join the Trust and vote that kid who organised the march to run it?
  11. I agree, there is no reason why a good foreign manager cannot succeed but when hiring managers with no record in this country you are taking extra risks. There are managers with better records than Wotte/Poortvleit AND they achived it in this country - that's my point as to why the appointments dont make sense. If we could cherry pick whoever we wanted from Europe like QPR it wouldnt matter.
  12. I think you'll find Reid, Dowie, Robson and Holloway have more promotions between them than Sousa, De Canio, Martinez and Tigana. QPR are minted and De Canio was sacked, I think Martinez has played in English football and Fulham were minted as well. I'm not against foreigners as a rule I just think with our inexperienced squad it's a bit of a gamble having an inexperienced manager. If I was a billionare in charge of Fulham or QPR I wouldn't be so concerned.
  13. Most deals are not paid up front, it makes no difference when we pay the money we are still making a commitment of the amount which is reported as upto £1.2mill euros. As for the Arsenal thing - that's a laugh for that shower of ****e.
  14. When you look at the effect Billy Davis has had at Forest (they were below us when he took over) it's obvious what effect a decent manager can have. It doesn't matter if they are English or not, but experience of the English leagues is vital with such an inexperienced squad. For the long term someone like Nigel Pearson was ideal, now we just need somone to keep us up - I would go for an experienced old head who can handle the pressure, I think the kids would benefit big time from someone they know knows their stuff. The very last type of person I would want is a foreign manager with no experience of the Championship - it's mind boggeling how Lowe came to appoint Poortvleit/Wotte.
  15. You could try watching the game and not the fights in the stands - it's not hard. Thick and thin, you're having a laff.
  16. 1 Wigley - worst Premiership appointment by anyone ever. 2 Poortvleit/Wotte - Footballing suicide 3 Renewing Redknapp's contract when he clearly wasn't motivated, giving him naff all to spend then forcing Woodward and Clifford on him just to really screw up our "re-promotion" season.
  17. We might as well wait until we are 2 or 3 down before we start protesting, will probably only miss 20-30mins of protest time. Although it's very unlikley there is a chance we could stay up if we get a result Saturday and results go our way. Get behind the lads, when it becomes obvious we are not going to get a result let Lowe n co have it with pure venom.
  18. Jimmy Case for me.
  19. We've had our share of good and bad luck, just like every other team in the league. Bristol's second goal wasn't luck. They scored because our keeper ran the lenth of the pitch and got nowhere near the ball and Lloyd James runs like he is holding in a crap.
  20. Isn't it upto the administrator to decide who is best placed to take the company forward and pay off the debts? Surely if the fans make is blatantly clear that income would be significantly reduced should Lowe and Wilde own the club, the administrator would have to favour a rival bid? Plus they are both proven failures. How can any creditors possibly be in favour of Relegation Rupert, especially if crowds/income is halved? The administrator wont care if it's Genghis Khan or Mother Theresa, but surely it must care about the company's future income?
  21. I think all the Season Ticket holders should fill out the renewal forms in full and just send them back with "Please contact me when Lowe and Wilde are no longer connected in any way to the club" writen in the payment details section.
  22. Saints is in the situation where if it was owned outright by someone it would be sold for £1 to someone willing to take on the debts. As it stands if someone were interested they would just be ripped of by greedy shareholders looking for a return.
  23. I doubt that, I would probably say 7,000 odd. It's hard to judge because it's been decades since we were this rubbish.
  24. Agree with the first poster, though I think it will be close between plymouth and Norwich for the final spot, Saints and Charlton will be down long before the final day. 22nd Plymouth 23rd Charlton 24th Saints At the moment we are in a false position, we've lost to too many crap teams at home. When the pressure increases away wins will become harder to come by and the young players will not be able to handle it home or away. It's all about how you handle the pressure at this stage, as you get towards the end of the season the pressure doubles in each game. Our young players havn't been able to handle the pressure of playing at home even when the games didn't mean that much.
  25. has to be a good idea, as long as the only people who benefit are SFC and the City, not Lowe or SLH shareholders. I wouldn't have clue wether the council has enough dough though. I was surprised at how many councils had shed loads of cash in Icelandic banks, mybe buying SMS and renting it back could be a half decent investment in today's climate?
